Wesley Bryan Falls Short At Puntacana

Wesley Bryan spoke to the media after the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship, where he finished in 2nd behind Billy Horschel.

I mean obviously excited it was an
amazing week um but bummed um felt like
I had some good opportunities today and
uh missed a little one on 15 16 15 uh
that kind of stung but um all in all
definitely encouraged uh how the golf
game was uh how it held up under the
pressure of a weekend uh leading a golf
tournament and I played a couple really
solid rounds and today just got beat um
plain and simple shooting 900 out there
today was impressive so hats off to
Billy and um yeah I mean I feel like all
in all if you had told me I was only one
person was going to beat me this week I
think I would have signed up for that um
I mean it’s been amazing um I mean I
didn’t realize there were that many
people that watched our YouTube videos
down the Dominican Republic but uh that
support was amazing um online it’s been
great this week uh and I mean honestly I
feel like we made some more good content
from this week and uh some something to
build off of uh professionally playing
as well and um looks like we’ll have
some more opportunities to play
throughout the year and um yeah oh I
mean it was amazing um because they
don’t my wife had uh some terrible
pregnancies and then with covid and all
of that I I feel like they’re they
haven’t traveled as much as maybe we had
hoped and um for the the girls to be out
here this week and really I mean I I
could have finished dead last but for
them to be able to just see Daddy hit a
few golf shots and um and kind of soak
in what the atmosphere was I feel like
was was pretty special and for me uh
just having them out here it’s amazing
and uh kind of ready to be done with
this interview to go give him some hugs
and kisses
