Ain’t nobody got time for shifting weight. That’s why pros keep their weight forward in the entire swing.

oh Tom well you’re going to hit the ball
low you’re going to hit the ball shorter
and you’re going to hit down too much
well these divots aren’t that deep
they’re normal divots they’re nice bacon
strips they’re not pork chops and
another thing that happens with this
weight it’s already set forward I don’t
have to think about my
downswing the hips looking them like
they’re firing like on their own crack
it is downright highway robbery you feel
like you’re in that Heist van and you’re
getting away with all the goods and
there’s no cops like you did it
flawlessly I went through all the lasers
of Shifting weight and I hit all the
lasers and I got screwed I can’t make a
good swing when I shift I I have the
time I hate having the time because I
don’t have the time to time we got our
lives here we got things we do with our
life like I like to play guitar there’s
just no
time there’s time for that

  1. “They’re nice bacon strips not pork chops” 🤣. A few of my more undisciplined buddies would refer to them by certain ways women groom or don’t groom their nether regions. I’ll have to start using this porcine analogy to clean them up.

  2. I like your channel here but where can I find the music? What kind of rig do you have? I have a couple of Charvel SoCals thru a 100w Rivera Knucklehead and a Marshall 1960 cab A/B/Y with a 15w Orange 112 for an overdrive.

  3. "Nice bacon strips, not pork chops", 😂😂😂
With the weight set forward, my 100 to 200 yd game has improved greatly!!!

  4. Haha only a real picker and top golfer thinks “No Time” from The Guess Who – I got, got, got, got no time… Yup, keep your weight on the leading foot on the downswing if you love crispy bacon (divots too).
    WTG Tom, you’re a classic!

  5. My neighbor played college golf and has been trying to help me get back into the sport after a 15 year hiatus.

The things that you put in your videos have helped me way more than his instruction. We have another neighbor getting involved now that he was working with and he just couldn't get it. I told him about your hands forward instruction and he immediately started hitting it.

I just wanted to say thank you for putting your information out there where it is easy to find.

  6. Love this but the main problem I’m seeing in my rounds is a lotttttt of lead hip fatigue. But it’s the only way I can get consistent contact. Any tips?

  7. Starting with your weight on your leading toe, then stamping the heel to start the swing, forces your weight to always remain forward. Most importantly, it shifts the weight around, not side to side, allowing the hips to pop open naturally. Bobby Jones did it, Tommy Armour did, Jack Nicklaus did. They all did it.

  8. I feel like the overwhelming majority of pros shift their weight, but the overwhelming majority of pros would shave significant strokes by doing this instead.

  9. Tom. I played today and was disappointed to say the least. I thought I was copying your swing but evidently I missed something. I could not come even close to my old drive in fact I hit my driver on all 4s&5s. I was very straight but sometimes I couldn’t get 150 yards. It wasn’t fun at all. Could you please, please use your driver instead of irons? Thanks
