The Grip Challenge

Do you struggle to get height on your driver? If so this challenge might be the one for you!

Place two golf balls a grip length ahead of the ball on the tee. Through set up and swing the goal is to hit up on the ball on the tee and avoid the one on the ground.

Benefits included: increased dynamic loft & increased club head speed of which both are essential in hitting an optimum drive.

so today’s tip is going to be everything
to do with hitting up on this club which
is your driver so the drill we’re going
to be going through I like to call it
the grip drill so what we’re going to do
from here is we are going to place our
driver grip and these two gol palls are
around about the length of the grip away
from ball on teeth now why are we doing
this well we’re doing this to try and
find a way to encourage ourselves to hit
up on this golf ball so if I was to go
and hit a shot and end up swinging and
com down to hit this golf ball I’m going
to hit this golf on T and potentially
take out these two golfs so key things
to look out when you’re setting
up gone through your making sure your
face points the target your grips on the
club going to make sure this golf ball
is more towards that front foot and the
ball’s forward it’s going to give us
more of a chance to get up and hit up on
this ball we’ve dropped our Trail
shoulder make shoulder shoulds level
dropping that shoulder should help make
our low point before the ball to be able
to hit up now the goal with this drill
is to try and see I can hit a driver
shot without hitting those two golf
balls by maintaining and keeping my head
behind drawing this

shot which I’ve managed to do so so my
challenge for you you’re going to do
five of these shots how many out of five
can you do without hitting either of
these two golf balls if you can do five
try and up it to 10 and keep opening it
by five each and every time let me know
how this drill goes for you
