round coverage of the Puerto Rico
open and we have 18 courses on the
island here Grand Reserve Golf Club a
36o facility we have a composite
Championship 18 testing some of the
stars on the PGA tour here at Grand
Reserve Golf Club this the 16th edition
of this event’s first start play on the
island back in 2008 let’s get over to
Jimmy Stanger his second shot to the par

12 yeah let a t-shot go there just 151
coming in very high from right to left
oh flagging it to kick in range and a
guy that’s got a right to left ball
shape with that right to left wind in a
left hole location he must have been
licking his chops ah head to the 14th
Ben Kohl’s just off the green also with
putter this for bur and a share stayed
in the Fairway was so was able to move
move it a little bit better angle to the
right Ben Cole’s bang he’s at 15 under
now for him he can go ahead and hit that
draw Johnson and get it working against

flag much easier shot for the left of
today trip oh yeah and that’s kind of

down yeah all shot kid another great one
from Kohl’s Gribble t24 10 under this
has to have so much spin on it to stop

Gribble at 16 even better one for Kohl’s
at 17 just a hair left to right

today Ben Kohl’s in 17 under leading by
one three birdies his last four holes in
the backside from 87 yds has to
come over the bunker right back into the
teeth of the wind and the green runs
away from
him what a a shot from
Stanger incredibly difficult to get that
distance control right into the wind
with that short of a shot and at ofia as
well so he knows exactly what it
does will it
stretch Ben kohs the round of the week
with a nine under
63 how about those putts he made
finishing that round really nice up and
down on 16 putt on from The Fringe on
14 ties his career low on the PJ tour a

back on the 17th Barnes from the
Fairway laid well back there that was
from 161 coming in very high to the back
right ho location oh took a peek at
it wow Stanger birdie putt at
17 and really unfortunate as Johnson
said the ball did not spin back on the
green now it’s going to go hard to the
right right off the get-go here then
straighten up at the
end but uh Stanger rolls in another
one see what Barnes will dial up for his
third like that Li settled down into the
sand a bit which is going to help it
release out to that flag and that
was
nice rolling out great for
Barnes birdie putt for Barnes didn’t
carry enough Pace bit timid with the
stroke
there see a putt like that you’d have to
think the grip pressure got a little bit
tight bogey free 69 second straight day
now High Smith shot y’all called it he’s
going to have to go up with this that
actually I’m this is better that he’s
left-handed I this would be a much
tougher shot with the ball above his
feet it’s an easier shot with it below
his
feet that’s a touch of class right there
certainly not able to get much spin on
it and we just he just is just dying to
make a birdie here on this back nine
George Schmid just two for six
scrambling this
week wow I did not see that shot was
about to be three for seven George but
it it’s it’s been the Rhythm it’s really
the face has been fine it’s just the
rhythm’s very
erratic there we go gets one to drop on
the last underpar round for high Smith
one under
