so last week I had a lesson with this
really sweet lady and she had a really
hard time accelerating the club through
bottoming it out at the right time using
that balance of the wedge that she had
and I handed her the one wedge and I
said why don’t you try this little guy
here it’s called the one wedge this is
not a training aid this is actually a
golf club but it’s the best combination
literally the next three shots were
perfect in contact as you can see here
it has a very wide sole very wide bounds
which is very different from the regular
wedge that you usually see also if you
look at this club it has very very funky
grooves these grooves are actually
horizontal they kind of slanted on this
towards the middle which really brings
the misses into the center of the club
face so it really encourages the ball to
roll and spin towards the center of the
club face

  1. This is great advice. Equipment can make all the difference. I bought a new wedge and has changed my short game. I have so much more confidence now with chipping and pitching.

  2. looks like it would definitely help anyone who tends to chunk their wedges. I love my old school Cleveland Tour Action Chrome 588 wedges. 56* is the most lofted I need, and I can do just about anything with it thanks to my dad having me do short game drills when I was a kid…now I'm 41.
