Pros don’t shift or sway off the ball. They keep their head in place to guarantee solid contact with the ball. If any of these players moved their head off the ball, their contact point would change – and they wouldn’t be on tour. They’d be playing for peanuts instead!
#golf
stays in place throughout the entire
swing so you’re not seeing a whole lot
of Shifting or swaying off the ball if
anything they’re thinking about keeping
their head as steady as possible because
any movement of the head off the ball
moves the contact point on the ground
where that club strikes the ground will
change if their head moves so if you
place a pin on all these players heads
and you just look at all these swings
repeating here
across 114 players you’re seeing almost
zero head movement the only thing you’ll
see is perhaps a slight turn of the head
to the right away from the Target
because as the body turns and as you’re
turning your shoulders a natural
movement is for your head to turn a
little bit as far as the position of the
head goes if you placed a pin on top of
their hat you’re going to see almost
zero head movement

Nicklaus called it a fundamental in one of his books!
But what if I want to try to move my head and entire upper body while trying to “shift my weight” and then try and fail to move everything precisely back at impact….which never works due to losing my balance……….ugh, that is the better part of the last decade of fighting my golf swing 😂. This channel has helped me get at least back to a #SafeMode golf swing and has made golf enjoyable again 🏌️♂️⛳️🏆
My very bad habit 😣
Mr. Palmer also taught this.
Some drop down……Nothing side to side …..
Shouldn’t this be directly face on?
it's like their body is moving under a still head=precision
Loved the format. Top shelf golf instruction
That's a really good thing to remember. "Any movement of the head, moves your contact point on the ground." Great tip/fundamental to keep mind, remember.
That’s not even the hard part. Hard part is letting it “rest” there during backswing and follow through.
I've noticed that their heads drop in the downswing as they push into the ground.
Excellent video!!!
Recently learned this watching a tip from Jack Nicklaus. Thanks Saguto, you’re the best in the game!
totally agree. especially putting and chipping. on the fairway there’s room for a little head movement not in the short game
