what’s up everyone I am out here at
Independence Park this course is pretty
special because it is the first course I
ever designed the short layout was
designed by Kenny Palmer who
unfortunately passed away lost his long
battle with uh cancer this is uh
incredible what you’ve built here we’re
hosting worlds this year so you’re going
to have the best view in the house as
you know I did a tour series video with
all of these right here and thanks to

of a hard hole to get the birdie with
just an A on disc basket shot

three I was going to say two holes in
I’m about to have second but yeah two
through three great start hole two
normally I would go force or Zeus off
the t- shot but with the three disc I’m
going totha which put me in a spot I’m
normally not in then I get to throw some
other shots so I think that’s really key
to uh this challenge I should say here

is probably my favorite hole on this
course just because it’s over the creek
the whole time the creek is in play but
uh it’s just such a tight shot two down
through three so far keep it
rolling that could be a putt little slip
took off some of the power but still hit
the Fairway still got a birdie look here
typically I’d throw a straighter Athena
this Z one’s pretty overstable but
that’s kind of the fun to this this
Challenge and basically anytime I
practice I want to do this as well and
kind of force myself to hit better
angles um so hopefully I improve this by
the time we’re done with this video and
get this closer to the
basket a little more cherry that’s all I
needed like getting I’m not controlling
the nose with the back controlling the
front about controlling the nose at the
front of the disc you’re like oh nose up
nose but you’re actually controlling at
the back of this nose down nose up I
need to remember that cuz if I would
have gotten it popped a little bit more
that would have been dead center at hole
one there’s a sign that says if they’re
in the a or the B which a here is
500t on an island with ob but we’re
playing to the B which you can see
straight ahead which it’s calling a a
buzz for me 3:15 yeah it’s a little
windy for the Luna I’m going to go buzz
I just want to hit this anheiser here
and let it fight out Flex a little bit
and slide up to the basket
oh safe you see it on top yep pretty
fortunate break here um to be putting
after the tree that we nicked I thought
it was going to be high up there but now
nice little straddle
here birdie we are back better than 50%
all right hole Six B position again so
275 but this one is elevated what should
I do backhand or forehand what do you
think all right backand it is here we
go oh it’s an ace run listen for
it so we were lied to on the teapad cuz
that’s be right there had like a little
16-footer but uh they have it in a
that’s why I thought it was going to be
an ace run but here we
are oh right line and everything all

good luck look this is a hole that I
have not the right disc or uh not the
right angle to throw so I’m going to
force this Athena really hard spin it a
lot try to get it to turn over and hold
somehow before fighting out because it
is tucked over to the right it’s too far
for a forehand 45 ft so I absolutely got
to rip this Athena into this
head I got to give it like an Annie and
just not let it heer
out much way to stable and that is about
as bad of a kick as you could get plant
then
throw and right now I’m throwing then
planting so did you film both shots yes
okay my struggle right now is I am
throwing before I’m planting so I threw
my buzz right after it’s sitting in the
perfect spot if it was in the Par Four
spot but let’s not get into this hole
but I am essentially throwing it the
same time where I need to plant drive my
hips throw versus
one motion so learn a lot doing this
stuff it is a little frustrating because
I have to do it on video and I have to
see my failures all the time but uh you
know it’s a good practice I got a week
till the next tournament okay
guys
yep yep this is where the zone or this
where the buzz landed easy
birdie I thre the blue one
oh got the bar save and the bag
kick whole eight this is in the Par Four
spot got to clear that hill and then if
I really get on it I can get a jump up
for Eagle but uh it’s got a lot of
trickery I think it’s an island green
too still so we’ll find
out
it that was so close to being perfect
but uh now we just got an up shot
we were duped
again we’re really good at this this
time it is in the short but I thought it
was on the island when I walked up
because this one’s got three spots got
one down there one there and one up here
and you couldn’t see this from the tea
box so I was like oh it must be in the
bottom but uh anyways it was went from a
easy birdie to now a long put for birdie
so
oh stay up oo almost do the splits
the final hole of this video hole number
nine hold on let me get to a better spot
number nine 436 par 4 doesn’t really
sound like a par 4 distance but when you
look at it you’re like okay I see it’s
impossible to get there unless you’re
throwing like a roller disc on a super
Spike heer flip it over dance around in
the air and then come back and get
yourself 40-footer but uh for hand
Athena I’m going to rip it though so I’m
only three down right now I really need
a birdie here or an eagle would be great
going to rip this a on forehand see if
we can handle the torque got it a little
Flex so I’m going to hope it flies like
a a raptor we’ll
see come on it Nicks
something I don’t know where it finish
it Nicks something but it’s up
there it’s like such a small Gap to
where it’s like 15 15% I’ll get it in
the circle 5% I’ll make it so Taking My
Chances I’m running for
the so that one you might ask like why
do you go buzz instead of Luna this just
doesn’t have the stability to fight back
out which I needed if you film that way
to like snap out of it so it’s the only
way to try to get the get the eagle get
to 500
par the four down which if I’m being
honest I didn’t get any bonus birdies I
kind of got the ones that were gimmies
where it went Luna
Buzz this this was technically my only
Athena birdie which I could have gotten
at Luna Luna if I wanted but I think if
I did this again I’d probably go with a
straighter Athena instead of a beefy one
I thought I might need the beefy one but
realistically should have trusted a a
straighter one work more angles instead
of just anheiser almost on everyone but
um it’s good practice gave a little tip
of what I’m struggling with
plant then throw versus throw plant pull
through plant so something I’m working
on which I hope to have it figured out
but my next event is Jonesboro so we’ll
see how that goes but feeling pretty
confident this is shoulders doing great
I’m feeling great physically going into
this stretch the first three we’re kind
of get my bearings under me get the
warmup going get the distance back and
now it’s like all right I’m ready to
start competing so thanks for watching
