JT only W bogey for through 36 holes
what do you equate to what you’re doing
so well uh to post numbers like that uh
the short game just been really sharp
I’ve um chipped it really well chipped
in a couple times and the ones you know
that I haven’t chipped in I feel like
I’ve chipped pretty close for the most
part so uh just the the short games sort
of kept me in it with the way I was
hitting it the first few days and um
rolling it is always been a strength as
well so
hopefully this weekend can hit a few
more greens and keep the powder hot what
might you need to work on in the full
swing to to hit a little better you know
it’s just it’s little things here and
there I think the biggest thing is just
sort of trusting it I feel like my
swing’s not in a bad spot I’ve had weeks
leading up to this where I’ve hit it a
lot better than this and I think it’s
this place it’s it’s pretty tight off
the tea you get some kind of swirly
winds so I think it’s easy to sort of
second guess it and and uh kind of guide
it around a little bit which is probably
what I’ve been doing a little bit and
definitely going to look to try and stop
doing that this weekend and just try and
trust it a little bit more as you’ve uh
come along your career a little bit do
you feel more comfortable in these
positions when you’re in the in the
contention or in the lead yeah I mean I
I I’ve I know that I’ve won out here a
couple times so I’ve proven it to myself
and you know I’ve won it at many
different levels leading up to the PJ
tour too so it winning a golf tournament
is is winning a golf tournament and and
so I I do feel confident that I can get
it done obviously the more you put
yourself in this position the better off
you’re going to be whether you get it
done or whether you don’t you’re going
to learn from it so um I’m going to try
and do the same this week if it works
out great I love this golf course I’d
love to be holding that or wearing that
jacket on Sunday but um if it doesn’t
work out I’ll learn from it and be ready
next time what have you learned from
past experiences that you might be able
to take into this weekend say that again
what what have you learned from past
experiences that you might be able to
use uh that it’s just not to get ahead
of myself I think it’s easy you know you
get off to a good start on Saturday or
Sunday and you might be leading by a
couple and it can disappear fast
especially with the field this week and
the guys you know anybody out here can
go out and shoot something low so it’s
it’s never really over till it’s over
and I think that’s something that um
I’ve learned the hard way a couple times
in the past where I sort of got ahead of
myself and um focus being more just
trying as cliche as it is to take it one
shot at a time and just kind of focus on
what’s in front of me have a good night
