the wind was down how proud of you or
how you navigated yourself around this
golf course today yeah you know I I’m
pretty pleased with the way I played and
that’s that was kind of the way it was
day two we had a we had heavy wind then
we had less wind then heavy wind again
so yeah you know that’s that’s kind of
how this place goes you’re going to have
that 15 to something miles hour out of
the southeast and uh yeah just pleased
with the way I hit it and then you get
to 18 how much were you holding your
breath on that second shot into the par
five well yeah very much so I almost
wasn’t holding my breath cuz I thought
it was in the water but yeah got away
with one you know you you get enough
that you don’t get away with so uh yeah
but the you know nice lie in the bunker
and I was able to hear really good
bunker shot so it was a nice way to
finish 42 years of age and and you’re
grinding for your first PGA Tour and how
about the quality of this bunker shot
right here yeah you know it’s just had a
really good lie on the up slope it’s
it’s a long bunker shot I’m seeing it
right now yeah just I took a 54 degree
instead of a 60 and tried to let it run
out a little and it yeah just did EX
exactly what I was thinking it would
you’ve seen all parts of this game four
years ago you were a driver for a food
delivery company as you continue to
Chase the Dream what perspective did you
gain from doing that job well that was
more killing time than anything else my
wife does a great job with with her job
so uh that frees me up to you know be
able to do this and uh yeah you know I
I’m around people all the time that do
other things for a living you know I’m
42 I’ve seen all sides of it now um so I
think I have a good perspective on being
fortunate to get to do what I do for a
living um and I’m just trying to make
every moment as good as it can be you’ve
also won three times on the corn fairy
tour what experiences will you lean on
tomorrow into the final round yeah tons
you know it’s uh it’s just golf at the
end of the day you know it’s a little
different here but yeah I’ve I’ve played
well when I’ve needed to in the past um
and I’m just excited for the opportunity
Shan Lowry talked about how fun it is
having a home game what’s it like for
you having some family supporting you
this week yeah fantastic I mean My Wife
and Kids they don’t get come out too
much so to have them here and my wife’s
uncle here my dad’s over from England
you know we’ve got we’ve got a good crew
and I’m I’m really enjoying playing in
