hockey across the
conference yeah Michigan State’s really
made a big impact this season sweeping
Wisconsin um Wisconsin the other big
story in the conference this season they
fantastic kind of made an unexpected
jump but they’re they’re very talented

that are getting into it a little

really doing some good things though
these last couple of years this as the
Spartan hockey programs really
improved the fire and energy for that
team on campus has grown as well yeah
the monsters they call them there
there’s a group of them um here tonight
getting into a little bit of a battle
with the children of
yoast okono with it for Michigan State
he’s tied up and eventually the finds
the Stick of

trar the point tried to get his stick in
there
to stop the puck before it got to
Augustine just a bit too late
and again more chippy
behavior from these two rival
squads yeah in a close game like this
the emotions are going to be high um but
it’s going to be important for both
teams to say discipline here because
we’ve seen what the power play has done
and um you don’t want to be the person
on your team to make a mistake like that
and have it cost you the game and we’ve
talked about it kind of two opposite
ends of the spectrum for Michigan you’re
trying to stay out of a man down
situation because your penalty kill is
so poor for Michigan State you don’t
want to give the top power play unit in
the country a chance to add to their

Penn State and Ohio State round out the
eight yeah with Wisconsin being Idol
this weekend Michigan State’s hoping to
win this game and get a few more points
on them going into next weekend again
Michigan State swept Wisconsin in their
weekend series ear earlier this year and
the Spartans have not lost a weekend
Series this season
as some more
chippiness believe we
saw maybe a stick get up in the chest

looking to call any big penalties here
