India Co wi she enters the LPGA Hall of
Fame Hall of Fame career at a young age
no doubt about that and this one’s going
to move to the right little bit downhill
as
well she actually started working with a
new putting coach Chris Cho has had a
couple of
sessions second time together and how
many think Lydia is one of the best
Putters that we’ve seen in her entire
career but always feeling like you can
get a little bit
better believe that’s true Lydia Co on
the T yeah no need for a driver here
with this whole playing downwind today
this is a really good shot she’s hitting
7% more Fairways this year than last
time yeah that’ll work you were never a
darts player no really but you expect
that I
was up here a little bit as well from
here

Yeah Yeah she has a shot here has a six
IR out with a Fage you can get this to
the to the green
comfortably I can see that follow
through there Karen trying to get it to
fall right what a shot right at
it excellent couple of shots over there

she looks really solid through the ball
with her putting

aggressive just very confident in her
lines yeah Pace has been good had some
tough
putts the sun’s just come out to been a
massive injection of humidity
it’s going to be hot with the Sun out

Park’s like one of the best pters in in
the game ever and lyia C is right there
with her career-wise
yeah I mean if you were to ask players
and those following the tour to name
some of the best Putters on tour you
would put Lydia Co in that group I think
in terms of chipping and Imagination
around the greens I think she would be
number one you know it doesn’t really
come into play on this hole Karen but I
thought it was so interesting what Lydia
said in her press conference how she
realized how much water was on the left
side of this golf course off the tea
which really I mean that was her Miss
for the better part of a year was a low
left this one’s a little bit easier
because it’s uphill still breaking to
the left though
speed has been great we have really seen
a straight putt that she’s had so far
yeah there is a a lot of slope on these
greens originally designed by Jack
Nicholas kind of what he’s been known
for yeah that’s normally a bit of a
giveaway as to what direction the wind
is going in so this hole is
into going to try and keep this one a
little low trajectory and she surely has
done that that didn’t get very high at
all except the little bullet fade that
she hits down there yep got a good bit
of tumble on it as well yeah it’s really
impressive to watch
that the ball is just kind of settled
down just a little bit Tom so sitting
down a little bit lower than you’d
expect but she comes up with a little
bit of lyia magic it’s just so good her
confidence must be Sky High when she’s
anywhere around the
green with this whole being downwind
today not quite as scary as it would be
if it was into the wind it can play
particularly long
she she just looks so comfortable with
that club in her hand right now Karen
and it just sets up the whole rest of
the
day catch that down slub just running
forever that is way down go PCT you what
a difference this
makes still coming in a little lower
full flight because the green is raised
above
her I couldn’t believe how far down she
got that drive there Karen that was hit

slot watching her play today you get a
sense it’s a better round than one under
and now she gets it to two under 167 to
the hole 161 covers all of that yellow
penalty area that we’ve just been
talking
about so that’s really the number this
is a little fade it’s just been so Gusty
for the shot into this flag it’s going
to be pretty good though yeah
that’s one of the best you’ve seen you
see some weird shots coming off this
third T but that was a beauty when you
have just wandered just wandered Away

to enter the Hall you get two points for
a win here CU it’s the

her I think back to Orlando when she
wanted to start the season and she did
that nearly the entire way around what a
fairway finder did not even watch it
middle of the Fairway there par of five
not really reachable With the
Wind Lydia played with Thomas Keller in
the Pro am as well earlier this week I
didn’t I didn’t see her afterwards asked
if she got any cooking tips you
know you could trade trade some golf
tips Tom is a very Avid golfer

bunkers on the right do come into play
makes a very awkward t-
shot that’s hopped over them isn’t it
yep she was looking a little anxiously
at it but it’s
fine the penalty area comes in down the
left as well

problem she might be trying to play this
one down a little
bit good looking
trajectory right at it
over the top of
it players able to take dead aim one of
the best shots that we’ve seen result
wise into this hole
today coming from one of the best wedge
and short iron players in the game no
surprise look at how how good that
strike was but it was just a bit too
long and she made a little PTY face
which you never really see but she knew
that’s how Dar didn’t she is we get
there same as Brook Henderson
right in the center and just
short and eight out and this one is
pretty damn wind here so another
difficult one to get it to sit softly
she’s she got quite a bit of height on
this one Morgan she’s aimed quite a bit
to the right trying to play a draw in
there right on the very front edge so
took a soft bounce it’s a good place to
putt from this is not a bad place to
putt from Tom it is back uphill towards
the
hole see if she can capitalize on a
really good shot in
here she can watch out if that pter
stays hot this week for Lydia Co
