games ago because they know how much
they need Draymond klay’s not an
emotional leader Klay you knock the
three down you hit the open shot you
wanted the Splash Brothers and that has
not been seen all season we’ve seen
flashes of it M we seen flashes of it
here and there but we haven’t seen what
we’re used to and I can’t pay you off

I would I would give him 120 and I would
give him 120 because this will be the

finished with 40 points he shot 17 for
27 from the field and I knew that New
Orleans would watch tape and z wouldn’t
come out and be the same Zion that he
was two days ago but at the end of the
day he didn’t finish the game he got
hurt he got hurt and and last uh last
night it was almost a point where you
sat there and say damn Zion is kind of
bullying LeBron like Zion LeBron took a
charge on on Zion and LeBron like almost
got lifted all he like ran LeBron over I
never seen getting run over like that
then they’re back doing LeBron PA on
certain plays he’s not looking LeBron
James is great as a game he had it was
several things that happened that if

effort in two three nights ago when they
played New Orleans and he had to do it
again tonight I mean he finished with um

but he shot six for 20 shooting which
was terrible so what this tells me is

LeBron can’t play every day
every game the day after the other so if
you got a game on Monday and the next
game on Wednesday he might be gased and
you know where they going so it’s not
just that you’re playing Denver the
reigning Champions and probably and
probably gonna uh the 2024 MVP that
you’re probably playing against you know
it may go to shade depending on who
people vote on but the top two candidate
this is not going to go well not only
that they’re the reigning Champs and

a great season but that goes to show the
level of competition
that’s going on in the Western
Conference because actually to be honest
with you the Lakers record this season
was better than their record last season
and they was in the playoffs last season
they was in the Western Conference
Finals last season
actually and their record this year is
better so we just it just goes to show
the level of
competition in the Weston conference is
just
tremendous then before we go on to the
Devin versus fight there’s a lot of
conversation going on with those versus
Garcia yes Haney versus Garcia fight
yeah there’s a lot of conversation going
on with that but I do want to get into
this article real quick by Brian wior
because I think it’s a pretty
interesting conversation so he says
today’s NBA is harder for LeBron and
Steph than ever before he said James and
Curry are superstars of a certain age
their dominance in their primes an
extended run of winning at the highest
level has made anything less than that
seem like failure what do you guys think
of his
analysis um I appreciate his commentary
and I appreciate everything that he
brings to the um game of basketball when
it comes to being an analyst but it just
sound like excuses it sound like excuses
to me um when when you’re great you
everybody that was great had to keep it
up is there’s nobody that have raise the
bar and then set the bar there that
doesn’t have to keep that up so that’s
not a new that’s not a new issue it’s
not a new issue Jordan had to be Jordan
magic had to be magic bird had to be
bird that that’s not new for LeBron and
Steph I think I think that’s not
accurate sometime CU people have and I
know he’s seen a lot of basketball but I
don’t think it’s easier or harder for
them than it was for Larry Bird on his
exiting or or who else I could think
about that it was very challenging for
or Tim Duncan Tim Duncan won so much
that people were expecting him to win a
lot there was a lot of people that was
expected to win just as much as Stephen
Curry because there’s people that got
more championships than both of them so
I even though I respect them as a as a
commentator and and an analyst
that was
inaccurate what was the statement
against that yeah so in the article he
wrote that James and Curry are
superstars of a certain age their

failure yeah anything less than that
feel seems like a failure and he said
reality is skewed because he doesn’t
live in a world where good seasons are
accepted at face value
yeah well we just talked about that we
just said how good of a season LeBron
and Anthony Davis had but they finished
eighth so they was in the play I think
that he’s right to a certain extent and
it depends on who who you’re talking to
like mace just said that you know you’re
you’re held to higher criteria their
other people because that’s what you
came into the lead that’s what you’re
used to seeing from these people talking
about K LeBron James we’re used to
seeing greatness we’re used to seeing
things that’s unhuman like so to speak

going to be held to a higher standard
of what expected from somebody else
LeBron James is held to a higher
standard than Austin Rees Steph Curry is
held to a higher stand standard than
Andrew Wiggins that’s because we’ve been
watching greatness for so many years
from them players so absolutely it’s
going to seem like a failure you

marketing these stars and what I believe
the NBA is slow on is
advertising the new Superstars because
we’re so in love with the old ones now
we got to think about it they have to
produce
it right what you have to do is you have
to start saying

new train is coming especially when

of them but there’s some new young
superstars out there they got something
to say about it and the NBA has to start
advertising that so now when the
playoffs come when you have a casual
basketball fan they’re not confused
they’re not like how the [ __ ] Minnesota
get in third they in
third hold the [ __ ] up we’re in Oklahoma
City and wasn’t Kevin Durant just
playing them [ __ ] a minute ago [ __ ] it

and I think they need to pick up on that
