good evening to the residents first in
the city of Johannesburg and I’m proud
to announce that yet again the city of
Johannesburg is hosting another world
class African event uh today we were
welcoming the ladies that are going to
be participating in the tournament I I
would first want to welcome them to the
heart of South Africa which is the city
of Johannesburg um a worldclass African
City secondly I want to wish them all
the best because they are an inspiration
to to young women and and girls that are
looking up to something different in
life uh you know that golf is a male
dominated spot and today I find myself
in a female dominated environment of
which is something that one can be proud
of um understanding that the women in
our city are making strides in in in
championing and piloting initiatives
that are there to not only Empower women
but to set their tone on women
leadership and and this golf tournament
is a casing point of such the city of
Johannesburg is is is truly proud of of
their women leaders know we we we are
from the struggle we believe that
um which which which um direct
translation means something else but it
means in essence that women are strong
in every way
