hey guys it’s minute with T-Mac late
October getting a little cooler nights
are certainly getting colder some great
fall WIA to play golf in I want to give
you a drill that’s going to help you to
finish out the year well and go into the
winter and establish some good routines
good habits and good practices to help
your ball striking to hit the ground
running in the spring okay pretty simple
drill here this is geared towards
helping your upper body to rotate
correctly to keep you in posture and to
help you feel your your um hips the way
they should be turning and the angle
they should be turning at so pretty
simple here okay you’re going to take a
club maybe a seven an eight iron
something like that put it in front of
you extending your left arm put your
palm on the club club’s straight up and
down at 90° you’re going to take your
right arm you’re going to pull your
elbow in and you’re going to get your
forearm at the same angle as your left
arm so your right forearm is at the same
angle as your left forearm you’re going
to keep that elbow right there you’re
going to rotate back push the right hip
back and then instead of just turning
you’re going to push your left hip back
and that allows you to turn right arm
under the left okay so it is arms are
angled together parallel angles right
arm below the left push the right hip
back push the left hip
back right arm under the left with a
little bit of extension from the
side left arm extended straight line
Club is straight up and
down the angles are the same right arm
is below the left arm okay push the
right hip back push the left hip back
that’s what brings your hand through and
under the left
arm want to work on this you can do this
at home you can do it while you’re
watching TV you can do it at the range
just gives you a nice feel for staying
in posture and allowing your hips to
turn on Plain it’ll also help you with
some things like balance and just
feeling the the the feels that you
should be going through as you rotate
through the golf swing try this through
work it as much as you can again the
goal is getting you on the ground
running in the spring way ahead of the
crowd playing some really good golf
