  1. Hats off to Alonso, I'm bored of seeing the same teams in the top flight games. So it's very refreshing to see a very successful team that isn't seen all that much keep the shine.

  2. Fair enough, defo the best decision for him right now to grow more but if it’s just sitting in at the job and not the Madrid job is available then sod off don’t ever want u at lfc

  3. I admire him but I have to say Managers stock fall very quickly if Bayer struggle next year he'll be forgotten.

  4. Xabi should decide at the end of Bayer Leverkusen's last game n all LFC supporters should only talk about their next gaff at the end of their fixture of this season .

  5. 100% the right decision. He's at a club where he's proving himself, his techniques & his standards. There will be other opportunities with Bayern & Liverpool, and others, but right now why give up the perfect job at the perfect time? The Managerial career is so much longer than the playing one. Congratulations Xavi, I wish you all the best! 👏

  6. He means his job isn’t over here as in it’s not where he is. Welcome to the reds 👀👀

  7. Xavi is the wisest one hence made the right decision in my opinion. Any manager would have jumped to take the job. As much as i want him as our coach, its gonna be very difficult challenge for him to take on a club like LFc and that from the manager like Klopp. Imagine how much will be the expectations of him to fill in that shoe? I believe he is in the right club for his career and he knows his capabilities. Perhaps someday when his ready for us, he'll for sure come. Good luck to him

  8. The emoji in the subject shows just how little the English media thinks of the Germans. Casual racism. Imperialist nature. Insufferable.

  9. As Liverpool fan I completely respect his decision, he's a man of honour, it's early in his career, why leave something so good? the only team undefeated in all competitions in europe. I hope someday he considers coming to Liverpool and make history! YNWA

  10. He want Champions League with Leverkusen that they're waiting for since 2002, but then it was much harder to go into the final with no Name and uefa always manipulated and pushed teams like Liverpool and Man Utd
I'll watch Leverkusen game replays to see if they were unlucky to win it or not that class

  11. He was never going to leave because he wants to see how many trophies he can win with the team.

  12. Absolute respect. Even as a Liverpool fan there has been too many managers recently that take the leap and flop. If a manager is doing great were they are then why change that.

  13. It is truly remarkable, how many excellent Spanish managers are currently dominating European football – Xabi (Leverkusen), Arteta (Arsenal), Guardiola (ManCity) Emery (Aston Villa)- just to mention a few of them.

  14. I'd rather see him succeed for another 4+ years at Leverkusen than stab me in my heart by moving on to Real Madrid next year

  15. So is the world my brother.. don't be deceived!! The very same people hailing you today, will be chatting "down with Alonso"!!

Be humble and kindly do your job well at the current club!!
Nothing you have achieved yet; don't be puffed up!! You are just having a good season.. simple

  16. YNWA – he’s just being smart, there’s no way he wants to manage Liverpool immediately after Klopp. He’ll join us in future.

  17. Every person, small or great, aspires to leave a mark. Xabi has done that and could share a success stamp in the more difficult even, rise an underdog. Why leave now when is being blessed every minute on the pitch, the match and the training one. Everyone is enjoying them. So. Stay and leave history mark. No better reward.

It is the right one. 🥰👍 Thank you for commitment to guide those to overcome the more difficult yet.

  18. Because Xabi's focus today is experience, I think his decision is right and if he gets a trophy it is a bonus that will increase his selling value in the future.

  19. Bro could have also just said "Carlo called me, gotta wait at least one more season"

  20. When you have the players Bayer have there is a lot to be excited about, if Xabi left he would forever wonder what else he could achieve with this team. He has made the right decision.
