I had never seen Metal Universe Champions until recently when I discovered them on the shelf at our local Walmart. They were on sale and I quickly searched the internet to see how much blasters were selling for. The cheapest I could find was $29.00 Cdn. per blaster. I bought three of them.
The set includes numerous athletes from numerous sports such as baseball, basketball, beach volleyball, football, golf, hockey, and snowboarding. There are also a few so-called celebrities.
The cards are nice and shiny and there are a few inserts such as Metalized, Intimidation Nation and Fresh Foundations, to name a few. The one knock I have against these cards is there are no team logos. Nonetheless, these are very nice cards, although I don’t think I’d buy them at full price. Thanks for watching
