Wyatt Rohrs threw a shutout to lead NVBC Diamonds 14U past East Bay Cyclones – BATS Blue 14U 11-0 on Saturday.
NVBC Diamonds 14U scored five runs in the fourth inning. NVBC Diamonds 14U offense in the inning was led by Rohrs, Abe Shweiky, Hunter Weis, and Josh McCall, all sending runners across the plate with RBls in the inning.
A double by Will Forrest-Rimi in the fourth inning was a positive for East Bay Cyclones – BATS Blue 14U.
Rohrs was on the pitcher’s mound for NVBC Diamonds 14U. The righthander went five innings, allowing zero runs on one hit.
Patrick Hougan toed the rubber for East Bay Cyclones – BATS Blue 14U. The bulldog lasted three innings, allowing nine hits and six runs. Maxwell Calvin threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
NVBC Diamonds 14U totaled 13 hits. Grant Huss, Peter Hurd, Weis, and Rohrs each managed multiple hits for NVBC Diamonds 14U. Rohrs, Weis, Hurd, and Huss each collected two hits to lead NVBC Diamonds 14U.
