Barring something obviously ridiculous, I'm going to try my best to enjoy the draft and be happy whichever direction they decide to go. If they trade up? So be it. If they trade back? So be it. They sit in a weird spot and it's probably not going to go perfectly for them. A CB with our 1st pick wouldn't sit well with me, but if they hit on that player? I'll learn to live with it.
It's like what Scott always says: "it's not about who you miss out on, it's the players you DO pick that can't play that gets you in trouble." Agreed. If a CB can play and belongs in the NFL and is a dawg? We'll live with it. They just have to HIT on whoever they decide to go with. It's that daggone need for anything resembling a QB that makes CB sit sour with people.

I must've lost my mind because I SWEAR I saw a report saying the Philadelphia Eagles signed Justin Simmons. I apparently made every bit of it up in my head (which isn't hard to do when you have 4 kids lol).
I like Ruke Orhorhororohoro. I'll never be able to pronounce his name, but I'm seeing a lot of mocks slotting him to us in the 3rd. I've heard he's a good run defender, but you know how that goes. You listen to enough scouting reports from different sources and you'll get completely conflicting information on these guys. 1 says Ruke is a stud run stuffer, another says he's weak vs the run.
Here's a good thing:
I think we've built up enough Special Teamers to where the Broncos can now focus on raw talent more in the later rounds. We don't have to make sure all those guys can play ST's now. If they can, great, but it's not a huge focus now. Let's find some guys with some freakish traits and gamble a little bit. This team simply needs TALENT!
I've seen a few mocks giving the Falcons Dallas Turner. I think that would be an outstanding pick for them.
