  1. I remember he tried to act hard against some skinny white kid and got outplayed and lost. During middle school years to

  2. Julian did manage to make some decent money playing basketball, much more than his talent is worth. I can't respect his game but I can respect that hustle.

  3. He gave it his all. He was one of the greatest high school players ever. How many people can say that?

  4. My former best friend was like this growing up we loved football..but his dad(the coach) had him after practices working hard. Eventually years later he quit football and just went to college.

  5. julian newman is not bad at all . casuals like yal just like to slander his name for fun and to think it’s funny. nobody in this comment section can fw him in anything basketball related . stop hating find a hobby.

  6. its not just his height. guys like him that can dribble and takes a lot of shots are everywhere, most of them dont make the league

  7. "Dubbed the best 6th grade Basketball Player you've ever seen by THE HUFFINGTON POST"!

    😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I know when I want hard hitting, in-depth Basketball reporting, the first place I go is The Huffington Post! Hahahahah!

  8. I think with the rise of the g. League bringing in new NBA talent taking mark cuban's offers probably the best option

  9. Almost a 12 minute video explaining why someone didn’t make the league when it could be summed up by the fact that he’s not that athletic and he’s 5’6.

  10. I'm not saying this kid will eventually go to the NBA or has a professional career. But weren't people saying these things about LaMelo Ball and Tre Young?

  11. At some point people have to understand that most of these “prodigies” are just kids who peaked earlier than their colleagues. Once their peers catch up, or they advance to the next level, their perceived dominance disappears. Julian's arrogance and his father's ignorance certainly didn't help. Plus, he didn't grow physically or technically.

  12. He's a scrubb. He over dribbles the ball, which messes up the flow of the offense, and leaves his team mates standing around watching him.

  13. Just like a lot of these streetball guys, dude learned to dribble really fast, but never learned how to play basketball.

  14. Too short , he's def like 5'4", I'm 5'6" I can still get my shot off in front of a 7' footer at close range but I had to practice that for a long time, getting packed.
