  1. Been thinking about a winter trip to the Dominican for some beach and golf at some point in time — great to see a review on what’s offer there. Thanks Claire!!
    ⛳️🙏

  2. This was a very nice distraction from all the masters stuff this week! Got a big plate on my foot yesterday so playing myself is done for the next couple of weeks.. Love from the Netherlands Claire.

  3. Claire. That lesson was awful.

His goal is correct, but his explanation was terrible.

Practice the first half of your takeaway in front of a mirror.

Practice visually and physically not moving your arms, just moving your chest.

What you are doing is under-rotating your hips and over-rotating your arms to get in a "feel" position at the top.

This sort of change takes years, but first start by taking the club outside the line and only going halfway back, then cock the wrists.

Just look at the position in the mirror and you will see it's perfectly in the slot. Avoid the feeling of pulling your arms back and around your back on the way back.

Now, take a few half swing without rotating your arms and only rotating your shoulders over your hips and then cocking your wrists halfway back.

Think about sternum facing backwards with arms straight back on back swing and same thing forward. Maintain the "triangle" of your arms without breaking it or deforming it.

  4. Two things you could experiment with Claire that could take stress off your shoulder. 1 a slightly bent right arm at address and externally rotating your right shoulder at address which will keep your club in front of you. 2 old tiger used to keep his left shoulder open at address which will prevent you from getting the club behind you might shorten your swing a bit but you can fire from the top and use your core a little more and take shock off your shoulder
