Although I agree. I feel he deserves a spot. Nick is a true pioneer and legend and deserving of some kind of recognition
Nick had a hall of fame career, just not a hall of fame ufc career.
UFC Hall of Fame is a lot closer to WWE than to Cooperstown.
Zuffa bought Strikeforce and WEC, he is Champion in both and had a Pride win overturned for weed. So I’d say it’s a Zuffa HOF rather than UFC.
Diaz bros have a cult following but are eternal journeymen. No way do they deserve HOF.
The UFC hof should encompass all promotions bought out by them like Pride, Strikeforce, and WEC so that some of these guys that would make it in a MMA hof but not an only UFC hof can get a shot to get in. Nick imo should get in based on the body of work over the course of his whole mma career and I think a non ufc wing would be a perfect spot for him and guys like him. Examples Overeem, Eddie Alvarez, Fedor, etc.

Nick Diaz’s career spans more than the UFC. He’s going into the hall of fame because EVERYONE who loves MMA knows who the Diaz brothers are. It’s the hall of fame, not the hall of records.
