  1. As a USC fan, it was a decent era under Enfield. The team was often towards the top of the Pac 12 standings. Also, he coached the team to several NCAA tournaments. That is great considering USC has never been a basketball school. The problem is that his teams never rose to the elite level. This is shocking because they had elite recruiting classes. A top 5 class shouldn't be getting bounced from the tournament in the first round each year. Overall, I think the USC fan base grew weary of Enfield and are not sad he jumped ship. SMU/Dallas is a fine area. He is a family man, and also must consider the well-being of kids. Not a bad place to be.

  2. I know you just hired a great coach & an even better person.

He did a super job at USC. A class act at every presser regardless if it was after a win or loss.

The best to you Andy. FightOn

  3. The smartest thing Andy did at 'SC was hire Eric Mobley (Evan's dad). Eric gave us access to his two sons, and other premium recruits from his AAU rolodex. Sure hope he stays with us! Anyway, thanks Andy for your service, best wishes on next chapter! And THANK YOU SMU for paying Andy's buyout and giving him a soft landing spot! Cheers! ✌

  4. SMU got a great person and coach. No scandals when he was at SC. Took over a dumpster fire and made it a top tier program in the conference. I know he and his family will miss living in the Manhattan Beach community, who wouldn't? But I'm sure they will be fine. Good luck to Coach Andy and the SMU program. Fight On!
