Agree, Van Lith too small and feeling under the weather. This horrible defensive alignment with zero help is all the coach’s fault. If the coach aint coaching dah game this way, coach makes adjustments, she just don’t continue with the stupidity til the bitter end!
back in my playing days, I made guys feel pain in setting picks on me. I'd run full steam into on picks and make it look accidental. Rarely did the ref call foul and I'd deliver serious pain on a guy trying to pick me off. After 2 of those, they stop picking me. If they move, it's moving screen and I'd be moving so hard that it would disrupt the pick and knock the screener back into the player coming off it. Caitlyn will not get these type of easy looks against UCONN or SC which are much better coached at playing physical and eliminating noncontested shots. Caitlyn is good but she walks into to far too many threes which suggests horrible coaching. I'd pick her 94 feet and make her work on every play, including screens. I'd have 20 big man hard fouls waiting for her if she broke into the paint. I go SC winning it all over UCONN, the two greatest dynasties in women's bball. Caitlyn Clark is going to get a rude awakening at the next level. I think Paige is better and her game will translate better to the pros. However, I believe Caitlyn and Angel Reese are the rivalry the WNBA needs to sell the game better.

I am not a basketball genius, but I'm pretty sure you can't be passive defending Ms. Clark. She doesn't need much space to get her shot… and since she can hit from just about anywhere, you have to be active at all times. Also, you would think after years of watching Connecticut play everyone should be sprinting up and down the court every play. That is how the Huskies have won for years. Clark just has a motor that most players don't have.
They can't stop her no matter what they do hopefully Caitlin will avoid the welfare League she should return to Iowa and play another year and go ahead and keep collecting that nil money she's already made more playing college basketball than most WNBA players making their entire career then she should go play overseas because she doesn't fit The narrative of the WNBA because she's not a black lesbian if I was her I would just avoid that leg because it's nothing but drama
Honestly the coach didn’t even know how to guard her. Woman’s basketball has never had to play at the level Caitlyn is playing so they truely don’t know how to guard her.
I rewatched the game and all I could come up with is that they gambled that CC would have a bad night at the 3 and they were trying to block the assist to anyone else. They did neither. Kate Martin had 21 points and Pfalter had 16 in addition to CC's 43. Basically CC just totally burned them at every angle Larry Bird style.
I am a BB fan but don't know much about the game and don't know why I got fed this vid… but… if this guy is legit, which the comments tend to suggest, I will watch every future game with a new perspective.
