  1. Rick you can play the Par 3 course if you are playing with a member. Usually you play the main course and then have lunch. After lunch you play the Par 3 course. You just need to ask the member that is hosting you.

  2. It would be great to see this Thursday, ceremonial opening tee shots with 3 legends: “Ladies and Gentleman, introducing, Mr Tom Watson ( crowd applauds loudly),….Mr. Jack Nicholas ( wild cheering),….and Mr Rick Shiels ( crowd goes absolutely bonkers!).

  3. I am a 16 handicap. I believe I can shoot sub 100! Lets make a video about it Rick!! Challenge me!

  4. We have a tax rule here in the US called the Augusta rule. It was put in to our tax code to allow the owners of those huge houses around Augusta to rent out their homes for 14 days without having to report and pay tax on the income. The rule applies to any house but was called the Augusta rule as it came out of the Masters Tournament.

  5. Rick, you talk like you putt better than an 18 handicapper. Granted, you drive well but we've all seen you play and you definitely could improve in your putting and short game. If you could guarantee to break 80 through driving well, then I think an 18 handicapper who can putt well would break 100.

  6. Man it would have been amazing for Rick to get with Guys family and planned to bring him without him knowing and break the news to him at the end of the podcast “ be like btw pack your bags pal cause your coming with me for the week everything is paid for and planned”

  7. RICK….The Open is the biggest tournament on the planet…the masters is an elite invitational for billionaires .

  8. There was an old guy that lived in my town who had been to every masters for the last 56 years … he passed a few years ago and the local newspaper did an article about him .. a friend said his home was nothing but Masters gear .. can’t imagine what he saw over the years

  9. Koepka (Brooksie) would have Rick removed from any place he saw him even if he wasn't wearing a green jacket. 😅

  10. In 2022, I went to Saturday at the WM Open and Friday at the Masters. I can attest to experiencing the polar opposites of golf spectatorship. Wild!

  11. While it would be awesome to play Augusta, I don't know if I would break par if you placed me on the furthest part of the green for my first shot on every hole! 😅😅

  12. Rick, have you thought about getting a LTE match watch, allows you to still make calls/text/email, etc for Augusta….
Best thing with this is that you still have everything and are unable to take photos/videos with it

  13. Is there any possibility of the clubhouse podcasts going onto YouTube instead of audio podcast platforms only?

  14. A couple of random points: Howard Johnson’s used to be one of the most popular hotel chains in the US, ubiquitous on the interstate highways from the 1950s and into the 1980s. Stayed in many of them and dined in their restaurants as a kid on family vacations. The brand is now owned by Wyndham Hotels, but it is NOT at all what it used to be. Pretty much a “no-tell-motel” in name only. And pimiento is the fruit of a red pepper plant. To make pimiento cheese, grate some cheddar, dice the pimiento, add a little mayonnaise, mix it up and spread it onto the bread. Plain white bread, only! A Southern US staple.
