  1. Sure. Extremely long putts have a lot of variance so a chip would be much more accurate.

  2. Completely legal. It actually counts as a putt because it is from the green area. Saw a chip from the green in the Valero Open in San Antonio this past week on the green that surrounds a bunker.

  3. I was taught once awhile ago that it is only aloud to use putters on the green,… but hey Please tell me if I might been wrong here✅👍🙏⛳️ Ps. And you Gabbygolfgirl you are so good and do not stop play this lovely game of golf,.

  4. Of course. The chip and run with a 7 iron is too unreliable. You never what ground anomalies your ball is going to hit and there will be more of them with a 7 iron.
