As always Hurkacz a choker
Hubertowi brakuje klasy. Klasy domknięcia, wbicia ostatniego gwoździa. Ma wszystko w swoich rękach, piłki meczowe, swój serwis i wypuszcza to. Już który raz u niego. Ewidentnie słaby mental. Gra oparta głównie o serwis, co pokazują statystyki. Duużo mnije winnerów. Praktycznie w ogóle break-pointów, podczas gdy Zverev miał ich 7-8 chyba, na szczęście udawało mu się poza jednym razem wybronić. Jak już nie wyrobi sobie przewagi serwisem, i jest wymiana, to dużo częściej je przegrywa. I tak się postawił, bo nie był tu faworytem. Za to brawa.

Appalling highlights, really garbage work
Hurkacz jak zawsze obsrał zbroję, Karol Stopa miał kiedyś rację mówiąc, że to idealny zięć, grzeczny, miękki, ułożony, ale tacy nie wygrywają najważniejszych trofeów. Błędem było wystawienie go do mixta z Igą. Janek Zieliński nie dałby się przełamywać Niemce… żenada Hubert.

Incredible match that displayed Zverev's greatest strengths and Hurkacz' greatest weaknesses. Hubi has all the tools, but needs to find another coach that can try to fix the confidence breakdown that always seems to hit him at the most critical moments in big matches. One of the best things about Zverev's win is that it gave Siegemund a chance to shine in the mixed championship match that followed. I was aware she was a fiesty singles player, but hadn't really paid much attention to her. Had no idea she was such an incredible doubles player. That was probably the most entertaining and thrilling mixed match I've ever seen and will definitely go down as one of my favorite matches of 2024. Would love to see Siegemund pair up with Muchova for some WTA doubles action.
