We wanted to show how the Takomo 101 and 101T Irons perform at about 75 mph swing speeds to give you more information about which set might be right for you.

When forgiveness, distance, and looks collide – you’re left with our beautiful 101 Irons.
Takomo 101T Irons: https://takomogolf.com/products/iron-101t?variant=45253934416182
The 101T Irons are a player’s distance iron packed with tech and beautiful looks. This iron blends distance, workability, and style.
It is time for an average swing speed Club comparison between the Tacomo 101 irons and the 101t irons let’s jump right into it all right so the idea for this video is pretty simple I have the seven iron and the 101t and the 101
Irons they both have KBS t uh 110 R Flex shafts and what I’m going to be doing is I’m going to be hitting both of these clubs with a swing speed right around let’s say 72 to 76 M an hour I’m going to hit a handful of shots with each and
Then show you those numbers on track man so you can see the difference between these two iron sets I’m going to start with the 101 T’s and the goal is to get five shots with a swing speed right around that 72 to 76 mph range and then do the same thing with the 101s that’s what we’re looking For sick all right it took me a minute to get those swings but I did get a collection of swings so now I’m going to move on to the 101’s okay all right so if you look at the track man I have eight shots with the 101s and then seven shots with the 101 T’s you can see the 101s are the orange circle the 101 T’s are the white circle um now if you look down in the corner
The 101 average carry 140 total 158 Club head speed average is 74.2 um and then the average of the 101t is 74.5 so pretty darn close um the 101’s ball speeds 102 101 T’s ball speeds 101 so spin rates um a bit lower with the 10 ones you would expect that
There’s a couple couple degrees stronger Loft um so about 500 more spin on average um yeah fairly similar numbers but the differences are what you would expect from the lower Loft uh you can see with a dispersion here that um the the 101’s maybe want to go a shade more
Left but there’s not a ton in it obviously that’s going to come down to each person’s swing the 101’s do have more offset so I think one of the big takeaways from this is that uh if you are kind of a mid- handicap High handicap average swing speed somewhere
Around that 75 80 mph range both of these clubs are are going to be great for you there’s not going to be a massive amount of difference if you’re looking for that bit of extra distance the 101’s great option great option if you prefer like a little bit smaller
Head um and maybe a little less offset 10 one te so they’re going to be very similar they’re going to get you very similar results and honestly I’ll just leave that up to you um for you to decide what exactly you’re looking for from your iron sets um if you like this
Video get in the comments let me know also let me know what else you’d like to see us make videos on if you there’s some other questions you would like answered some other comparisons if you like this kind of uh average swing speed test let me know and I will do some more
Of these as well anyway that’s it from here see you on the next one

Love my 101s! Can't wait to try the driver and woods!
Love this already ordered 101's just confirmed why bought them. Can't wait 🎉
So I just bought and have been using the 301mb with KBS Tour Lite R shaft. I have average swing speed at 78 and ball speed around 100 on my club's trackman simulator. I've always used pure forged irons. I love these clubs. I accept the lower carry distance from 6i thru PW since I love the feel and accuracy. Not as concerned about distance or that "springboard" feel of the more forgiving type club. I use a 7 wood and 9 wood instead of 4 & 5 iron. Playing course around 6200 yards.
Takomo customer service and purchasing process is "outstanding". I used a custom order. Thanks again, highly highly recommend.

Great comparison. More please
Love my T's. Such great clubs.
Love my 101's and the Ignis D1. Really looking forward to the start of the golf season.
Got my 101 t's about a month ago. Definitely see a big difference in results if I'm not getting the distance I want because of my own swing mechanics. Skyforger wedges are phenomenal.
Are there plans to expand the offerings for lefties ? I know it’s hard as a small company
Maybe u can help….i have sent several emails to Takomo about getting the 4 and 5 iron in the 101t. I currently have the 301 combo set and just want to order the heads. Any help is appreciated!
Keep up the good work Tim.
Would love to see this with 201s. I absolutely LOVE my 101s but I’ve also noticed such an improvement in my swing, I’m starting to turn them over more (pulling left). Trying to decide between 101t and 201s but really “stuck”. Any insights would be great. Thanks!!!
I have bought the 101T's a week ago and my miss was left with P790's, with the Takomo's I have taken the left shot completely out of my game, now have a controlled slight draw and fade as required, got the Skyforger wedges too, they are simply sublime, Great clubs, fantastic service, thank you Takomo………………………..now should I try the driver ?
201s vs 101ts would be nice to see as I cannot decide on which to get
