    Darvish wasn't very good in this game. He walked alot of batters and his pitch count went too high for him to stay at the game.

    Yu Darvish was posted from Nippon-ham Fighters(NPB) and signed 6-yr deal with TEX in Jan 2012. At the end of same year Shohei Ohtani was nominated as the top draft pick and decided to join Fighters though he wanted to go direct to USA then. Shohei took over Yu's #11 and dormitory's room. Dar sent an e-mail to Sho saying he'd be waiting for the junior in MLB. Six years passed since Sho came to play with LAA nevertheless there hasn't been a matchup between the two, Yu pitches and Shohei bats, mainly due to AL/NL.
    N.B.) When 2WP Sho pitches it means pitcher vs pitcher matchup.
    It was very exciting to see their first matchup in the MLB's first regular game 2024.
