It up um for the frasure marci’s bank to open and um I was amazing there already but it’s it’s improving every every day every week and um I’m in the way designed it to start on the first and go all the way downhill I think there’s

Only two holes where you don’t see the ocean um it’s it’s amazing it’s breatht what a life unfortunately you’re injured so you can’t play today yeah but me and big an are going to do a scramble and you’re going to help us batter us you want us we’re going to talk about

Wanted to and they gave it to me and then I saw the referee said I can’t do it I up and down is that R you can’t drink can’t drink when you’re playing yeah it’s uh I know everybody knows that the old boys like 20 years ago when I

Came on tour that was that was normal yeah everybody was really smoking cigars and cigarettes and stuff more sort of that it was I thought it was quite cool you know and uh but I’m I’m pretty much one of the last guys standing on tour

Who who likes to have a a pint uh for dinner and stuff um the younger younger kids they just go to the gym and athletes proper yeah yeah lot lot lot of background work so the rule is no alcohol not allowed it’s like it’s like doping it’s it’s it’s written in the

Regular how much has golf changed since you started to to you know now um as in like the preparation and stuff like that a lot I mean I think the top bit um is still the same you know the the top guys um you obiously the same guys but um if

You see if you look at the cut um same Golf Course is same setup um it’s by let’s say every five years it goes goes down like like like a shot you know it’s it’s it’s um the the Midfield of the professionals is getting much stronger so it’s it’s

Making the cuts nowadays is a lot tougher than it was winning a golf tournament I think stayed the same right okay it’s getting over the line still the same but the setup’s harder there so many young kids I mean the the education of the 14 15 16 17 18 year old

Old golfers is so good they already starting to go to the gym um the swings are so good and mean we have the frame of Tiger Woods everybody was starting to copy it you know if you already played 10 years it’s very tough to copy that

But if you if you’re a young kid starting that you know let say 20 years ago yeah it’s uh like it’s totally different world mean look at how far they hit them then they start copying Dustin Johnson with his takeway you know open rest there coas and I we used to be

The longest uel Konica and stuff and we just hit it like this yeah now these kids hit it like that have 30 yards of roll and they pitch it past me 20 so it’s it’s a totally different game so that that means obviously you’ve got to

Work on different areas of the game to to make it you know make it stronger like you say your strongest parts to tripping isn’t it yeah but like I said before so I think the me mental part is is still the most important one yeah um so hitting Fairways and greens giving

Youself a good chance not losing the plot all the time you know winging and blah blah blah you know this happened to me now I think this this is the most important part if you hit it 400 yards and and you lose the plot all the time

It doesn’t help you know so um it’s still 80 80% between the years so this is this is the chance for me yeah that’s why I did the hip up you know I think mentally I I became a lot better um and this is why why I I still think I can

Win out there and that’s why why I love it so much I love the competition love it awesome right have it to you go right GAA I’ve got 79 as well okay stay left stay left shame not bad but this is this is so that hole

Always the ball if it if that doesn’t start into the the trap on the left it always miss us right because everything kicks right as well um it’s beautiful hole yeah it is a beautiful hole Yeah and it sounded like a beautiful shot it was it was it went right bugger up and

Is this is downwind you have to judge it perfectly somewhere here because if you run it over the green then you have the same shot you have from the other side for your third okay so if you play really defensive and say okay I’ll make

Four I want to leave it here then I would take this one but at this one you chip back into the wind cool so I was totally wrong I think I think with the amount of followers you have you should be able to hit that easy Chip Shot there

Yes I like that good got some expertise boys come on this this this is a thing for amateur golf as well where okay you go up but ju just try to forget that little little bowl you have here just a normal Chip Shot because you hit it into the wind

It’s going to spin anyway yeah you know keep it a little left you have that back back slope there as well the back stop and and just forget about this this little Hollow you have here just h a normal Chip Shot you got enough room between a flag and a green there to

Um so if you if you come in like you you try to tuck in this one here yeah you know the hands are so far forward there’s so much distance between your your tummy and the hands now yeah you know this this is causing and this flattens up so this is why why

Everything goes right so if you if you try to get the elbow in which you understand you don’t want to have the shoulder coming over this you don’t want to chicken wing it yeah you still have to have the hands very close to the body

You know so that you have a chance that the head overtakes in one stage but you’re so far here there’s no way that this one is coming in time so so what what should I feel so come back so when you come down yeah you can tuck that in okay but get

The hands low or closer to your body and not not this you’re doing that okay okay this this is why everything goes right and you’re pushing it so tuck it in and you then get the hands straight so back yeah that’s it then you can clear your hips but what

The bunker you have the the last runs out yeah what is the bunker the the middle one so you literally have to to hit it 160 only 150 yards yeah and everything bounces onto the green so if you hit a if you hit a 170 yard shot six

On six on behind just left to right so and just just make sure you you you keep it you know see the back bunker Behind the Green yeah just keep it left of that okay the left if you P your left edge of that everything kicks right aome right okay

Oh no stay there oh is it gone gone yeah don’t it right it’s red there so it’s fine you can drop it I like the red steak here this it’s a really good thing isn’t it yeah really good right brother sorry mate again now we we have a nice gate

Here to there yeah if you only focus on that and you keep your head down you should manage to get it online better because for you you was like you were like okay I go this every time you look up straight away this it happens it goes

Right so so try to find something lower to the ground yeah you keep down there you just focus on that love this so good 7 69 165 would be perfect okay you see that little gate I gave you guys there yeah on the ground okay perfect in between just yeah just focus

Tournament I would still play it right because we have there no penalty so only one Club length nearest point so nearest point would be there yeah and then one Club length we even deeper in so um so we are not allowed to take the club length here because we have to take

Tap it down tap it down and I was like 30 yards down the Fairway and then all of a sudden he goes through his three wood no rips it and I I I couldn’t see the ball before stuff like this you know it’s just horrible especially in like a

Late level like yourself you can’t you know it’s your jobs right yeah our level it’s fine right come on oh it’s out that’s a lot softer than I thought it was going to be so right where was it an here with that massive divot behind the ball is that

Normally the strongest part of my game that is absolutely wful just a first B go right and then you have that that hump there where it can go right or left so you just if you hit it towards the flag it’s going right it’s not an easy one see

Now well good putt good putt good putt well if you go a yard left it’s there gone yeah tough tough position isn’t it yeah that’s what happens when you put yourself in positions like that though isn’t it it’s a hard game when you keep an easy shot leads to an easy shot

Normally yeah but I mean this this golf course is it doesn’t make it easy for you especially in the windy conditions you know like I said before I think s today was uh was a little stronger than this and there were only 10 guys shooting on the par that’s

I’m do you like that as a golfer I love that yeah like real test rather than just blazing it and scoring yeah I love I don’t I don’t like the tournaments which are won by with 30 under the part 25 you know even when it’s when it’s

Windy you know that shouldn’t be like this Like Us open sort of setups they reallyy love that you know valderama was always one of my favorite tournaments and then when we play in Hamburg green Eagle yeah um fantastic test as well M so that’s good it’s great for viewing as

Well yeah I think this this this golf course will be will be great in the future um it’s going to be a great test you know it’s it’s there’s so many T blocks as well we chatting to Blair um a few days ago is you and the average

Golfer can play it and get around it f like the you know the holiday go and obviously with the pros there sort four or five T blocks in there it just goes back and back so it’s a test it’s a test for anyone but enjoyable I’ve never seen

Like to have a pint but I’m I’m I’m going to the gym every day um sometimes twice a day as well so um it’s great it’s the best job in the world seriously and um I’m really I’m enjoying it and it’s not all about drinking and partying

Anymore you know it’s it’s it’s it’s I’m really enjoying the Great Golf Course the great venues we have and and and bust your balls and hit balls and pting drills and all this stuff and I just love it it’s awesome and who’s the funniest character you’ve come across in

All your years of playing golf you gone Co BL he’s a bit oh Jeff Winter by far yeah yeah he’s what sort of stuff does he get up to can we he just yeah I mean Jamie Donson as well so everyone with Robert Rock said this everyone has said

Jamie donalson is an absolute lunatic he’s a lunatic and I how people always stay like this you know we all became dads and and and I think we toned down a lot um with the crap we did but Mark Ro for example I mean what a character as

Well and he was still playing he was kicking the Dixie toilets when people were sitting in and you just you full of and the Blue Water you know there I know some really cool stories um Kar is not the funniest guy but from the bottom of

My heart I love I love this kid um we spent so much time together um and now now the new kids you know Nick bakam and Freddy shot um look out for these guys they they’re really funny as well so that’s that’s why why I’m I’m trying to

Help them as much as I can as well love that um yeah seriously I’m I’m so blessed and I’m so grateful that I’m doing what I’m doing well you’ve earned that that’s down to you you’ve earned it but it’s not just golf is it as well you

Kickboxing I hear and I see you on Instagram the other day playing a bit of darts yeah table tennis was more my thing table tennis yeah table tennis and uh go carting and and pool not snooker snooker are difficult about pool pool and and table tennis and fishing um this

This I love that as well I can do that for hours and um yeah it’s great big football fan as well uh yes funny enough after Co it’s got a bit calmer with that because you know when you watch watch football without any Spectators in the

Stadiums it’s it was It was kind of weird I lost I lost track a bit but um you know Thomas Miller um he became came a not super close but a good friend of mine and um I really follow Bayern Munich all the time and and M kabalak

Was playing for them as well I know he went to Chelsea um I played some some golf with him he’s a super guy as well and uh yeah it’s it’s one of the best Sports ever I mean I I just watched a football match this morning actually

From school of my my daughter so I love that that’s cool what’s Michael ballot like on the golf course cuz when he played football you were like I do not want to mess with him does he sort of walk down the Fairway like that proper

Like no no no no he’s he’s he’s very easygoing um but I thought the same and then I played the D links with him yeah and we had a blast I mean it was he was really funny and he’s a great character really good guy really good guy that

My life coach together in Germany and he’s a former MMA fighter yeah and um I started training with him three four years ago but without him I would have never made it back from challenge to back on tour this guy was was so good for me he’s such a good friend as well

And the training I did with him yeah all the coordination work you know what they do with grappling boxing kickboxing I did all the training with him and the first time I went into a cage with him that was when my life coach actually looked at my mental state wow and CU

Everybody knows me in a golf course going clubs losing the plot and stuffff like this and um my life coach said to me he like that’s not you you know you kind of you know this is like you’re like you’re looking for excuses this and

This and this and this so it’s yeah yeah so I go bloody mouth peas and the head peas and the things and and P he’s he’s like this so he starts moving around and I’m like backwards backwards backwards I was sh my my pants you know and then and then

Um so I got one in the liver and I was so I kept running away and then eventually I had one in the face and I lost it and then and then I got even injured yeah and then my life CR said see that’s that’s exactly what I needed

Out so you know exactly what what to work on with me because that’s brilliant you know if you don’t know what you’re doing properly you know it’s it’s all about quality not quantity you know right and um so we started that training and building up confidence and um and my

Whole attitude about my thinking about life thinking about my golf changed through this it’s uh it was amazing and and Powell then stopped fighting because it was he broke his hand in the last fight and he was traveling with me on challenge tour um cting even sometimes

For me and uh was amazing that’s awesome that yeah come on come around turn come around turn not a bad shot is it all right that’s good there yeah another licker well I’m impressed with that one boys great shot great shot mate it’s good long pot quality but luckily it’s

Short enough to miss the uh have a little spin round Scotty like how many how many courses you have got that in the in the world have you played is that is that a thing bunkers in the middle of green this is the second golf course I I played now

Antonio where we play the Texas Valera open yeah that’s there’s one in there as well but it’s a part three I think it’s not even a part four right so what we thinking here then Marcel double breaker FL breaker again yeah so just go two yards left of the flag yeah
