Hey everybody I’m really excited to start ball testing for 2024 golf balls are so important in the game of golf is the only piece of equipment that you use on every single shot so I think it’s important that we get it right on which ball that we play um I’m going to be
Testing three different uh new for 2024 models first up is the Chrome tour this is the Callaway and this is their kind of refresh of the of the Chrome soft line this Chrome tour probably plays closest to the Chrome soft de at least that’s what I’ve been hearing I’m super
Excited to start testing those not particularly excited about the triple track me and triple track just don’t get along very well but you know for a prototype ball what more can you ask for right but this uh this Chrome tour I’m really excited about because I played
The CSX most of last year so from what I’m hearing about this ball it’s supposed to be better longer a little bit softer off the tea a little bit softer off the you know irons and wedges and that really excites me so um I can’t wait to get into the simulator and get
Some numbers on this thing to see if it matches well you know with my game next up I have um Bridgestone tour BX this is going to be their new ball for the 2024 season now this one I am also very excited about I haven’t had the opportunity to play a lot of
Bridgestone balls in the past but I did get a little bit of time with this yesterday you know by the grace of God it was a little bit nice outside yesterday here in dismal Ohio we actually got some sunshine it was up to 40 something degrees and I was able to
Get out on the course and play this Bridgestone just a little bit now of course I didn’t get any numbers because I was you know outplaying a live round with it but I liked what I saw early at least you know ball flight off the you know irons and wedges was pretty pretty
Good um feel off iron and wedges was pretty good I didn’t love it off the driver but could have been you know a cold related thing you maybe but I am excited to kind of dive more into the numbers on this Bridgestone figure out if it’s going to
Be a ball that maybe I could play in 2024 that’d be really cool you know move into a Bridgestone ball and then last up and then last up I have these tailor made tp5x Proto now these are going to be the essentially the new tp5x from tailor made this year um tp5
X’s hold a special place in my heart because I did make both of my hole-in ones with tp5x so it’s I always want to try to find an excuse to play this ball and from what I’m hearing this one is a little bit softer in the cover which I
Enjoy and I I don’t know much else about it so excited to get this into the simulator get some numbers on it and figure out you know what’s what with this new 2024 lineup so that kind of brings me to the question for you guys what do you enjoy seeing in the golf
Ball that you play on course do you play a specific golf ball on course if not I really think you should um but if you don’t maybe we can learn together you know what good spin numbers look like or you know what we want to look for in you
Know the the numbers when we when we test out new golf balls so curious you know what you guys think drop some comments let me know what you would like to see you know in this testing I’ll do my best to you know record a bunch of it
And of course provide data and things like that but let me know what you want to see and then we’ll kind of make a decision together

You are wrong chrome soft x = chrome your x
Include Chrome Tour X in the analysis
Bridgestone balls are durable too.
Played the Chrome Tour X this weekend in the simulator and the place has an indoor putting green too. Ball feels great off of the putter, irons, and Driver. Checks up nice on chip shots. Feels softer than the Chrome Soft X, which i like a lot. All around was very happy with the Chrome Tour X. Cant wait to try it on a real course outside
Why are you testing 2 x balls vs a non-x ball? That’s just dumb! The Chrome Tour was created to compete with the ProV1 and TP5 not the ProV1x and TP5x! The Chrome Tour X is the ball designed to compete with the X balls! When are people going to research no one plays that POS Chrome Soft, and it wasn’t designed as a tour ball. It’s closer to the tour response and Tour Speed/AVX.
