All right ched so couple nice rounds here to start how does it feel to be in this spot into the weekend what um I mean it feels great I I haven’t been in the spot a lot this year but I’ve been in the spot in the past so you know just
Just keep grinding and I think the wind’s supposed to blow the rest of the week so it’ll be a grind do you like when the wind blows and the conditions get kind of firm and tough I do I’ve notoriously played really good in previous tournaments when the winds blow
And so so I don’t I definitely don’t mind it to blow what has been kind of the spark this week is there anything you tweaked early in the week or not really my game’s been close for a little while I I definitely um ball striking has been a lot better this week it’s
Kind of finally turning the corner and uh it’s it feels nice what did you do to get it to turn the corner um just been making a few changes here and there and um it’s it’s just been really close what’s one example of a change um just um just getting kind

Imagine if the wind keeps up like this which is supposed to that it’s it’s going to get pretty firm what are your thoughts on 14 just how difficult that Par Four is what makes it so um well they were pretty generous to us today
They they had us up a t box and uh and I still hit driver three iron into it so thank thank goodness they did move us up but yeah that’s a tough hole I mean you just got to hit two really good golf shots and then the greens kind of going
Away from you front to back so it’s a good one Bo Hustler said yesterday this is a golf course that where you can wear out four iron through seven iron or three iron through seven how much is that spot on about it’s it’s very spoton and then it’s like the few holes that
You do kind of get some scoring Club some wedges in your hand the the greens are pretty tricky is it cool playing a kind of municipal course that public can play for under 40 bucks and just knowing this is a place that fans can come out and
Play the same course that I mean it’s great for the fans because they can easily come out here and play a course that you know the PGA Tour plays so it’s great is it like cuz you grew up playing at a course kind of similar to that like
When you’re at a munity does it allow you to kind of reflect back on those vibes a little bit from I look a little bit for sure um it’s just nice you know mo most places we stop at you know it it’s it’s pretty hefty price to to play
So for it to be under 40 bucks it’s pretty sweet and what’s it been like seeing Scotty sheffer’s run I know you played a little bit with him I mean it’s pretty unbelievable um I saw a stat I think it was like 28 consecutive rounds under par yeah um that’s that’s pretty
Pretty nice especially some of the events that we play um but yeah he’s just a ball striking machine he says he’s off social media he doesn’t want to read people writing good things about him or bad things about him what’s your philosophy as I mean I think that’s a
Pretty good philosophy I mean you can get caught up in the good or the bad so I mean to just kind of be steering clear of it I think it’s a pretty good philosophy hard to do I imagine it’s very very hard to do in today’s day but
But good if you can yeah awesome you won two years ago yes sir so you’re exempt through 2024 how how pivotal and important to play well this year um I mean it’s definitely important but I mean I I can’t really think of it that way I just got to kind of stay Within
Myself And like I said I’ve been going through a few changes and feels like it’s turning the corner so feel like I’m headed in a good direction yeah I mean if you look at it like oh my God I got to do well this year just all that extra
Pressure you it’s just just added pressure that’s there there’s just no need for it yeah final question for me uh what makes this course why does it play so long um it’s just uh it’s just long like I mean as far as like the yardage wise I mean it’s just just a
Long course and uh that’s really it I mean the the greens are pretty pretty big but like I said earlier the the shorter holes where you kind of get some scoring clubs in your hand like the the the greens are pretty tricky yeah does that playay do you like
Courses that play really long um they do not suit my game very well but I played well at longer courses in the past I mean kind of My Philosophy is if if you’re hitting it good you’re hitting it good it doesn’t matter where you’re playing yeah thanks
