Off and running very nicely Caroline Garcia deep return absolutely love that return didn’t go for too much went straight down the middle with a lot of power and depth as you mentioned SU wonderful point and Garcia turned it around because go certainly punched the initial hole

It’s a perfect Point as far as Garcia was concerned that was a sneak attack made a quick [Applause] decision wow well that angle is a peach because it just shows you how good that ball striking was from gar finishes in style at the net Again away it goes and with it the set carolene Garcia has been dialed in again with the serve leading the way as she strikes first in just over half an hour this is your moment to experience luxury just like that her serve [Applause] disappears oh that is beautifully contrived it’s not easy

Oh absolutely brutal return from Coco [Applause] golf W terrific set from Coco go to level the match but carolene Garcia has all sorts of problems now not just the scoreboard but her shoulder as well well go made it so difficult but Garcia was equal to the challenge oh that’s class right [Applause]

There oh right on [Applause] Q [Applause] There She Goes Again oh yes nerves of [Applause] Steel the quarterfinals are calling for carolene Garcia in Miami for the very first time she finds a way to get past Coco Golf and with it a first top 10 win

Since the WTA finals in the Autumn of 2022 that’s how good it feels and she had to overcome the shoulder issue again which certainly seemed to be relieved to say the least in that final set as she found a way to get over the finish line e

    I think if Gauff can add more venom in her shots then plus her court coverage she will be a very a dangerous player to beat

    Oh please Caroline is a hit or miss, Coco didnt play well but she is the better player Caroline has been on tour for years where is her grand slam.. I will wait

    Commentator says: She finds a way to pass Coco Gauff. What a cheap statement. Garcia was better than Gauf throughout the match. Stop being biased commentators.

    Like the camera angle. Don't like 720p @ 25 fps, which is just bad for watching tennis. Tennis TV encodes their highlight videos at 1080p, 60 fps, and the difference in quality is obvious. Why do you encode your highlights at low quality, WTA?

    Gauff did nothing wrong here. Garcia is just unplayable when she's at her best. 10 years ago in this same tournament, she really pushed Serena before she managed to win in 3 sets. She's very dangerous and experienced. But like most players in the top 100 she lacks consistency. That's what makes it difficult for the top players in this era. Anyone can knock you out.

    So HAPPY to see Caroline Garcia back to (nearly) her best, after her recent injury issues. When injury-free, she is (without doubt) the most aggressively varied/versatile player on the WTA Tour, these days! Just one (annoyingly) lingering doubt – she's French, thus there is ALWAYS the possibility of CHOKING (the exception being Mary Pierce).

    It's for the 3rd day in a row a commentator's voice is not in sync with the video. WTA does such a lazy job with these videos and then they wonder why no one watches women's game.

    Coco, Iga and a few other top ten players have such vulnerable second serves it's amazing their coaches don't change them up. Really like Garcia's service action, much more powerful than Coco's.
