Being a captain way bigger way bigger man um my first year man was kind of smooth more because everything was going the right way I feel for sure my leadership was for sure tested this year as in just getting the group together as in like CU

You know um you know to the everybody in the world we wasn’t playing our best in the back end so I had to like you know um you know find a way to like make sure we all stay together because like I said media do get to a lot of guys you know

What I’m saying I’m not one of them but uh it can’t get to some other ones definitely some younger ones so I try my best like to lead them in a in a way to like hey man try to clock all that out and let play ball but uh yeah so that’s

What my challenge was this year to try to be a better leader as in that cuz um last year everything was going to good you know what I’m saying all way to the B yeah you know what I’m saying so much to have to like lead on you know I’m

Saying I just try to still just do me and did that thing but uh this year was a good challenge for myself as in just you know talking to more field po uh talking to a lot more people trying to make a better understanding of what’s

Going on and we all trying to figure it out as together as a unit so uh that’s the big the big change for me for definitely is just uh adversity how to uh handle adversity with the group you know I’m more I can handle adversity

Myself but me as a leader with that se on my chest I had to find a way to like to Circle my group back together got you got you and and your you do got a lot of young boys in your group you know the

Key Ringo the Eli Ricks H how have you just seen them mature just just over the long season because Ringo got a lot more snaps at the end of the season due to just like you know you were banged up a little bit but how have you seen them

Them young guys grow throughout the season oh they doing a great job man straightly from watching them from uh OTAs to all way the training camp through the season uh progressively just growing man uh to be honest I think key was uh doing great you know for sure at

The beginning of uh oh what it is I mean not in Camp you know he was trying to like figure it all out you know uh Eli that’s why Eli was playing a lot faster because the fact that Eli kind of figured out early than him so Ki I mean

Not Ki I said Ki Eli you combin was a guy Eli was guy that kind of like understood he I think he been around a lot of guys as more Veterans as a younger age than uh than key was cuz key you know when you come from a winning

Program all you know is winning winning winning so everything been easy so when it got stuff got hard so key kind of like he had to find his way and when he once he found his way as in really like accepting coaching better uh because he

Not a terrible like a kid like I’m like he don’t take coaching but just that fact that’s understanding coaching like so when somebody coaching you that’s nobody’s not really getting on to you they just getting on you to get to get better and once he did that man he

Started making the plays that he need to make he started tackling better started covering better so uh he took it all in man I was happy for him man that’s one you know I put a big smile on my face to see him get his first pick so uh and Eli

Man some guys young guys gonna be great you know going on I’m G continue to keep you know building them guys up building their confidence up to make sure because I always tell them man um it’s my it’s y’all spot it’s my spot for y’all to

Signed at the same day uh both the 09 class man so uh that’s my dude from uh from day one since we been we’ve been best friends since 18 years old so uh we’ve been know I’ve been knowing fles for a long time he the one got me over

Here in Philly too as well you know cuz I was on the verge of going to Vegas and he called me was like Hey man come this way you know you love they show you appreciation and uh and what all he done told me is it has been true man uh you

Know the organization stand at a high level they appreciate you while you’re here uh and you can see how they just did them boys right there just sent them off the right way so uh yeah but flet man he he taught me how to be a better

Leader too for this organization as well just following his lead too him and Kel but yeah for for sure Fletch man he’s uh been a great great guy for me and um that’s my dog man uh I knew he was going to hang it up though he already kind of

Told me early early and um and I’ve been peeping it all year man so I remember the last game he kind of last home game he ran out of the tunnel and blew some kisses I said boy you wouldn’t lying you really over with now he said yeah man

I’m going to be done after this I said damn so I really trying to play my hardest for them man to send them out the right away like you know by trying to get to that bowl again for them boys but uh it’s all right though and Kels
