Of course it’s easier to win 25 games in 2 years when you can play up to 15 a year compared to when you could only play 10 for a while, then 11 then 12. Even when Urban Meyer who is on this list took over at osu he could only coach 12 games his first season because (shocking) they were on probation for paying players. So no Big Ten Championship Game or Bowl game for them, so the max he could’ve won his first 2 seasons was 12 and then 15 due to the next year being the first year of the CFP.
Now Michigan football can ask, when's the last time you won a natty? All of that "you've only won a share of a natty since 1948" is out the window. 1 of only 6 15-0 teams in the history of college football! Arguably the best team in Michigan football history and can now be talked about as one of the best in college football history. Eat it.
