Weather is talking about Friday of course because if you pull up Friday and have a look at it it looks insane it looks heavy rain all those things if anybody’s there that’s local let us know what you’re seeing but who what are you seeing with the weather how you going to

Be handling that I think Thursday is pretty much a nonf factor I mean it looks like it’s going to be nice all throughout and then Friday it all kind of goes to [ __ ] um with the winds kind of picking up throughout the day and we’re looking at you know 15 mph winds

Steady with Gus potentially into into the 30s um and then it does seem like it picks up uh Friday afternoon a little bit now the problem is there is rain involved here and that throws a wrench kind of in everything um when you go to plan and if you’re somebody that wants

Just a distinct Advantage like okay I gotta go Am Pm or P PM am this rain thing throws a factory and the one thing about the rain that concerns me even more which is a legitimate concern is how the PGA has just mismanaged these weather situations all year round in

Terms of maybe adjusting tea times like theyve they’ve [ __ ] this up all season long I have no clue what’s going to happen on Friday to be honest with and it can it will definitely most what they decide will impact who gets the advantage and who doesn’t so um I think

The best way to do it for sure play both sides of it um you know do some Am Pm Stacks do some PM am Stacks um and go that route because there is a a scenario where one side does get a pretty significant Advantage now the one thing

That’s going to Bal everything out is Thursday looks good all throughout Thursday morning and afternoon so 50% of the field or 50% of the golf time before the cut it’s going to be pretty fair both ways um you know Friday’s the big day and how they handle it Saturday is

Supposed to be just as bad in terms of the wind and the rain so it’s really hard to say this tea time uh you know the early tea times on Thursday have the Vantage or the afternoon it’s hard to say that the one thing you can do just

Go back to what you always talk about um you know playing these wave stacks and and maybe one of these sides um you know gets Advantage very very hard at this point to pinpoint um which side gets advantage or if there is even an advantage there might not be an

Advantage at the end day so for me personally playing 20 teams this week what I’ve been doing playing it straight up yeah so Sean says this too always comes through any sites give away as much yeah hospitality is what the H and ship it stands for and we’re always

Trying to give back as much as possible as whatever we can Andrew brings this up hoop and you know I love this it’ll be in the Slate plan later I typically do this anyway but because the weather is so set up in the sense of Friday kind of whatever Friday dictates everything

Because like whatever happens on that it’s almost like who gets the the early morning Saturday where they could end up getting screwed it’s gonna be cold it’s gonna be coming off that rain wet all that stuff I just don’t know how that’s going to be a good scenario so it is a

Perfect week to build in sets mayo and I talked through it earlier but what we what what the point was was if you go Am Pm it’s like you’re hoping for the best case scenario that the am still goes pretty good on Thursday and then that

You get the the best time on Friday or Saturday whatever it gets pushed to now the only thing about that is is that the other thing about Thursday as much as there’s no wind throughout the day it’s a significant temperature increase and we’ve seen how bad some of these rounds

Have gone early mornings out on these courses where if you’ve got a setup of Thursday afternoon and you come out and it plays a stroke easier and then they do end up getting it in in the morning before this rain hits or it just gets pushed off or whatever so I actually

Like PM am better but I’m not going to go away from running am PMS because of the sense that that could actually happen so Jason says if doing enough lineups would you make even smaller PODS of tea times yeah you could definitely look at that as well but it it like

Really late probably on Friday and really early and hope it’s just the best of both scenarios don’t hate that think that’s a good one Nick says youall have the same amount no I will say that I did bring this up as well earlier but I do

Stick to my motto of play if you play lighter play tighter that’s the setup of meaning if I am going am P PM like someone talked about earlier they’re playing in the 18 Max the $10 18 Max and they want to run Nine and Nine and I’m okay with that because that’s just

You’re committing to what you have with what you have not Nine and Nine is the 18 Max but what I’m saying is that you could go that way I would still just run it on either side you’re gonna have a bigger than usual 20 Max pool for what

Many will suggest but because you’re running it within sets you’re probably still staying tighter within those sets so I definitely think that think that’s another way to look at it single entry is always the same answer for me I think you go to hoop strategy again it depends

On what your your bankroll risk adverse all that stuff is but I think you just play who you want on that and just you know play it straight up because that’s your one lineup your one money or you say I’m gonna commit to a side and take

The stand that I think no matter what late PM early am is going to be the spot and you gravitate towards that and you just take your risk that that’s the thing I don’t have a cut off time for rules and like weather’s going to change

Overnight even too so I mean I’d be waking up early morning tomorrow we’ll be in the Discord early as always hitting that stuff up if we have any of that hoop anything else you want to add on the weather before we continue in terms of the cut off I mean this is a

Tournament where it’s a very distinct uh difference in in tea times I mean there’s the last uh morning tea time is like 9 almost like 10: Eastern and then the afternoon tea time started like 12:45 Eastern so there’s a big big gap in the times and you can see them on the

Pj. Tour website we have them up on the uh on the solver as well so if you’re you’re partnered uh if you have us and have the solver the tea times are right in there but there’s this is a tournament where it’s a distinct separation in tea times I think no he’s

Going a step further to what we talked he’s saying it’s 12:45 in the afternoon up to5 or 302 whatever you want to have separation there and it’s that’s through that yeah that’s gonna be very difficult I will say too I I know Colin’s been in here forever Colin just like earlier

Hoop anything else to talk about with this tournament that you care about from the stats perspective I know you’re not always big on stats but just like um course history roster construction you mentioned the 5K range actually so maybe talk a little bit about that as well and tying into roster Construction in

General and then we’ll get to these teers yeah 5K range back in the mix and a majority of this field is priced in the in the 5Ks which I’m not thrilled with like if you have the 5K I I like the 5K being there yeah cutter keep will

Will be here as wellday I I have some options um but like the 5K range um yeah I like the 5K being there but I don’t want like the whole the entire field being 5K so terms of roster construction this week we talked about on the first

Look show like I don’t know really what the reward is for for going heavy in the 5K range this week in previous weeks it was very clear you get more Scotty sheffler who’s the best player in the world by a pretty wide margin at this point uh this week you just don’t get

The the upside of that in the 5K range so we’ll talk about it when we get in there but I just don’t know if the reward is there this week I have some of the guys in my pool there’s no doubt about it um but it’s going to be small

In terms of overall ownership in the 5K range for me uh this week I’m G have a lower number of players in the 5K range this week You Catches that we’ll see but I’m not going to go there much I will say this I talked with mayo I talked

With others about this too but hoop 116 guys I think you mentioned it maybe when we did the first look on Monday like it’s just they’re getting a little lazy with it yeah it’s not the right way to do it it’s just not the right way in the

7K range and you can still get away with lineups that don’t even need to touch the sixes let alone the F it really uh from that perspective it’s a bit annoying but the other good part is you know if you are willing to get after

Some of these guys in this five and sixk range you will be unique because people just don’t need to go down there very often so lazy though like you said it’s like they’re just taking anyone that’s U I don’t know 200 to one or worse in this tournament center right you’re priced

Between 5900 and and 5,000 on in our pricing Spectrum which I just don’t I don’t like that yeah gave them a little bit of an out right that’s what that’s what I don’t like it’s just like let’s just pile everybody in there now I would rather them extend it a little

Bit but who cares it’s whatever and again they didn’t make Xander 125 or Burns 12 like it should have been like 12 and 11 or 12 and 115 and then drop it from there but I don’t know e either way it’s fine there’s plenty to use up top

With that said let’s get into the guys up top and we’ve got uh what do you want to do Jordan spe up just talk about those four start uper let’s go yeah I think it’s a conversation to have like just all those guys 10K and above and

There’s only four of them this week and you know if you’re going to have the 5K range I think you just really you just need more guys in the 10K range because you’re looking at the ownership on some of these guys up here and uh I can’t

Pull it up right now but it’s looking to be massive like you know Xander Sam Burns it’s just easy to play them um you know Xander at 112 coming off the second place finish last week disappointing finish I’d say where Scotty tracked him down um he just can’t you know find a

Way to get the win does that affect him this week I don’t think so does it affect how I view him for my lineups no he’s like six and a half to one to win this event he’s you know probably the the best golfer uh in this field I have

No problem going to him I mean it’s a scenario this week a situation where he could finish even as low as like 10th and still still be the guy you need there’s a lot of volatility in this upper range and you know Justin Thomas has been good but a lot of miscuts Sam

Burn Jess he’s been good at this course but these aren’t like typical high-end you know 10.8k 10.9k type golfers so um you know Xander could have like a 10th Place finish and still be the guy that you need up here so uh you know definitely like him Sam Burns has all

The course history um he’s one here uh 109 Big Boy price tag he’s been playing well I’ve been honest just been a couple bad rounds and it’s been the fourth the round four the last two weeks at the Arnold pal Palmer shot to 78 and then

Last week at the players shot a a 76 in round four to take him out of contention but prior to that um you know he he was in these tournaments so you know that’s like what four four so T6 10th third 10th and then the 30th and 45th which in my eyes could

Have been much better if he didn’t [ __ ] the bed round four so I’m fine sticking with him at the 109 Justin Thomas missed the cut last week but you know when he makes the cut he’s been in contention third six 12th 12th I think the course

Sets up well for him I like came out the temp four maybe the the Mis cut kind of scares some people off and then the guy that I’ll just be off is is Jordan be his game’s just been pretty erratic uh not much consistency uh 10-2 for Jordan

Spe is just too much and if spe is is the guy that beats me this week that’s fine we’ll fire him back up fire up you know some some more lineups next week and see if we can get there but I won’t be on speed the other three I think are

Solid plays you know I’m hoping JT goes a little overlooked because of that miscut probably not because it’s easy to get to them um but uh I like those those three and there is no keeper cut in this range because to me it’s it’s very cut and dry in

Terms of what I’m doing and I don’t want to you know waste time with you or the uh the listeners here cut and dry see what he did there folks he’s catching on watch the MLB course too he had a nice one in there overblown the wind and

Something gets overblown he said shout out to Jason guy Bader bear he says he’s breaking it right down putting the math on US 10 months equals 43 weeks thinking 200 hours plus including the awesome free education courses love those the most so yeah shout out to Jason but uh

He did Note 10 months yeah we’re two months away now from our one-year anniversary it’s going to be our first year doing MLB for a full season so just lots of good stuff going on here and more giveaways and phase three and phase four of our our roll out still to come

Course I mean this course always plays tough but I did think that was kind of interesting I think Xander is priced wrong like again doesn’t matter uh I don’t care about him choking if he wants to come second here again I’ll be fine with that thank you Xander get me a

Second place 112 does not need to win if there’s all those guys around him what if JT spe missed the cut again and burns just doesn’t Crush like he usually does like there you go then it could be a 15th Place and he could be used because

Of the guys that go in there just it’s just one of worst um things that get talked about in PGA DFS that’s just not true he does not need to win and the point that Andrew brought up earlier Scotty was 12K last week at six to1 in a

Strong field Xander is 112 at six to1 in a weak field like it doesn’t even make any sense how they’re pricing it so if Burns and Xander were the same ownership I don’t care about the course history I would still just play Xander and just expect him to beat this field more times

Than not over a longterm period which I know it’s one week it’s one event but I do got to think about it that way and that’s where you’ll sort of find your way through some of these tournaments and find different plays the other one thing I will say you you you

Should on speed that I get it but former winner pretty decent here games off but so is some of the other guys and you don’t have to play these guys up here but spe does have a PMT time and I like those PM am anyway so I’m trying to get

Him to struggle through find his way around and also if everybody’s going to be scrambling let’s say that wi does pick up over the weekend all I need from spe is the main cut to feel good about it because if he gets that and the weekend looks tougher and windy and

Would play only the toughest hardest events he would go into them and finish 30th and people would say he sucks when he’s at like the Windham championship and he’s one of the best guys would be almost in a playoff there or crushing that because he would beat up on weaker

Fields which by the way that’s an interesting note for Tony feno who’s also in this range don’t isn’t that what we always say about Tony he shows up to the events with the weaker fields and just pounds on them that’s kind of what you could see a guy here like him do so

Um for Brian Haron he should do that he just hasn’t done it and my guy goat collect knows Jason Tatum in NBA he really likes when he’s going against the best he steps up when it does when he doesn’t have to try and prove that he’s

The best guy in the league he steps down and lets Jaylen Brown and some of those other guys step up so I do think it’s kind of interesting to say it that way but for me Harmon Nick Taylor mid woo and then you know I’m not going off sunjay so you

Same category as gim is going to be MC Neely um I’ve been playing MC Neely basically all season long and the results have been amazing 37th 39th 6 13th 41st and then ninth last week at the Players really like MAV McNeely at 81 uh Patrick Rogers at 8K is definitely

A cut for me um I’m a little bit bitter from last week I had a really good Scotty sheffler Harmon ludvig yeah ludvig team and um it had Patrick Rogers his only Mis cut so I’ll be off on him for a while uh but the first keeper cut

In this range is going to be bo Hustler and then the second is going to be Adam hadwin the only reason I’m considering these guys is because I think there’s a pretty drastic fallof when you get into the sevenk range which we’ll talk about but hosler and hadwin are two guys I’m

Kind down the fence on and you know I don’t know how much room I’ll have in my player pool on my teams but um the red on the average roster spot um and you know kind of Boomer bust performances recently so kind of torn on those two do the Hustler one first

Interesting uh Lucas Glover at 73 missed the cut last week uh but prior to that had three straight like T30 finishes uh he had one bad round he sh a 75 Round One at the Players did follow it up with the 69 obviously not enough but I think

He could bounce back at this course but really interested in like this lower 7K range like I’m going to take a chance on Daniel Burger I know um you know he’s got the injury thing isn’t fully back but 7200 for Daniel burger like he’s gonna get back at some point like and

I’ll take my chances Adam shank I always like him 71 uh batia at 71 I think is a fine option cheap price tag Davis Thompson I’ve been playing a lot of and then then my guy Rio at 7K flat so I’m way way way way more interested in the

Lower sevens um but the keeper cut option in this 7K range it’s going to be sep straa not too sure what to do with him 16th last week uh I don’t know he’s a guy just kind of torn on there we solved that one I already voted keep

That guy I mean this is especially the thing is turns into a gr like man this is I don’t see a scenario where we don’t keep him but let let people comment on EX St a keeper cut but I’m definitely keeping him in I think he’s in a good

Spot here I think it also changes up a little bit like some of these guys Taylor Montgomery if again if it gets tougher and people he just comes out and making putts and who does that I think it could be him Brendan Todd he can grind it out there like again people are

Liking hell I don’t mind him but I think also Brendan Todd makes a lot of sense there as well he’s kind of right between horel Glover Rider a lot of people are going there Burger you’re you’re playing for upside right like you’re just taking a shot on him at 7200 saying hopefully

He is back it doesn’t look like he has been it was one event of the three or four but man yeah and Andrew knows like a lot of these guys lot of support for straa a lot of support he’s getting Steam for sure you can land on a mail

And I did the lineups earlier so you definitely have to keep that in mind when you’re building but so are gim and uh and Ry up above so you can skip this whole range of 7600 up to 85 and get different that way and use like Keegan

Bradley or something up there and drop down but my point would be in this range you got to know because the guys that stand out on paper are definitely getting the ownership because you said it like shank is going to stand out Lucas Glover is going to stand out SE

Straa is going to stand out all these guys are going to look good in projections on paper all of those things so that’s why sometimes building in the sets can be different like again not many if more people are going PM am sep stra is in the AM that would cut into

His ownership a little bit if you go down to Glover he’s in the PM shank another guy in the am so sometimes when it happens like that you could definitely set it up but I think like Pam says here he built for this course that’s what everybody thinks and I’m I

The day when when when hoop said that uh Mr Stanger was the most disrespected had the most disrespectful price in the field Tambo made fun of me basically kicked me off the stage here and then t38 t35 T3 Puerto Rico and then t35 at the Players Mr Stanger is the

Fit that criteria this week 67 for Hadley Novak very popular last week um did not have a good result but prior to that three straight top 10 we’ll give him another chance Mr senson at 66 definitely going to be there Mr n Smith at 6,500 I think he’s a fine option um

Bud colie somewhat interesting at at 64 uh you know the long layoff came back uh made the cut at the Phoenix open and then 21st at the cognizant uh I don’t mind taking a chance on him at 64 and then you get down into the lower 6K

Range and uh gets pretty dusty in a hurry one guy I don’t know anything about him in in you might know more um Hayden Springer at 6,100 he’s made what three Cuts in a row 33rd at the farmers 38th in in Mexico and then he was part

Of that T3 group uh in in Puerto Rico but 6,100 for him and then Schmid at 6K flat uh was solid last week can can he do it again this week anyways 10th at the Puerto Rico so two straight solid weeks for Schmid um yeah kind of kind of

Where I’m at like Curious on Springer what what’s his deal yeah like that’s the thing this is this they they’ve been setting up courses a lot easier this year there’s no question but the same Puerto Rico I can promise you that it’s like a top 10 hardest course like it’s a

Very hard course so I would just wipe out anything from there and just not care so um that’s nice but that field was like a corn FY tour field at a resort very easy course and that’s where you’re getting these names pop up it’s an added bonus if they had a good result

Out there but realistically we’ll be looking for a little bit more from my guys down here so um you know and in some of the stronger Fields or at least little bit more improved Fields like there there’s guys down in the same range like you could play Novak or Kevin

Yu or uh who’s somebody else out here I just saw Taylor pendrith Adam senson Lee hoders there there’s some guys that have shown up in fields like this and won then there’s guys like Matthew n Smith who we’ve seen show up in the past and then now he’s got good history here 26

Last week KH Lee couple you know he he’s had some good results in the top 30 in fourth a couple events ago and then has a 19th here last year like there’s act like actual guys Matt Wallace is the one that Mayo talked me into I made fun of

It’s your guy Stanger or Damon or or Diet Tre who used to be 10,000 just a few weeks ago in a field like this McKenzie Hughes web Simpson Hadley not naming them all or playing them all but I’m saying if if those guys are all your

7K guys being that they cut the range down to just 15 then why would you not put two or three of them into a lineup together and you don’t just have to automatically hop up to Xander at that point you can but I’m saying there there’s lineup construction to be looked

At tonight and I think that’s my biggest take here someone said you got to go back to senson which Canadian boys did you like in this field so there’s Taylor there’s um hadwin there’s senson Silverman there’s a bunch of them there but was there any Canadians that stood

Just showing up in one Puerto Rico event for example yeah yeah yeah um anybody else in this range you want to talk about the the the bottom range of like uh hego or Wallace who I mentioned Carson Young Bryce Garnett JJ spawn woo any of those guys down there that you

Like higo yeah I can’t I you I’ve been playing a lot of higo he had the WD last week I’m just off off of him um yeah I think I rattled off most of the guys that I have interest in but man I just I really don’t want to be down here all

That often I mean some of these guys I want to play but um I’m not saying I’m going like full balance builds but man I think there’s just a big drop off big drop off when you get down here I’m going to play some of these guys no

Doubt about it but if I can avoid it uh in like if you’re hand building or something you can avoid this range like I i’ definitely recommend doing it there are guys down here and play don’t don’t you know get it twisted and there’s guys that I’m definitely going to play but I

Don’t love it and then when we get to the 5K range it’s even worse yeah well let’s do that then let’s go to this 5K range and I got two guys and there’s no uh no bias here but kind of but it’s the lower range of the the tournament Justin

Lower is down here at 5700 so I can play him and then another guy great first name Tyler Duncan 5,800 fine with him after that man like you know we we had some Zack Blair I guess went in there but that was the two I wanted to talk about will a couple

Others slip through the cracks maybe um the lineups I built with mayo today like Zack Blair was in on some of those I know we we talked about him some uh Troy Merritt is down here but I don’t know like I really don’t love the Aaron Wise

Is 5900 but man haven’t seen him for a while so what what’s the situation with you down here some people wanted to get talked into some guys but I just have a real hard time getting down in this range yeah it’s it’s not enjoyable down

Here I have like five names of guys that I am considering playing now I haven’t built any teams yet and I could end up playing zero down here it’s very likely that I end up playing zero of these guys um and the the five that I see as

Potentially playable uh you know this Ricky Castillo guy coming off the corn fairy to he’s had a lot of success there um but this is a big step up in course difficulty for sure um but he’s 5,900 Troy Merritt that’s just more of a I kind of always play Troy Merritt thing

And um you know it’s not a comfortable feeling uh Nico etaria has been playing pretty well 5700 Peter Mady at 56 and then I I did have Zack Blair as one of the guys at 56 but again if I can avoid this range like I’m gonna do it I haven’t built any

Teams yet um but it is not not a comfortable feeling the previous weeks with the 5K range you’re able to you’re able to get legitimate guys down there I I felt this week it’s a massive risk and I just don’t know what the reward is uh

Up top by playing some of these guys so I want to avoid it as much as possible yeah let me just talk real quick on that because I don’t have anything else to say in this range but the Ricky Castillo thing is a great example to talk about

Here because there’s two ways to talk about it one is obviously you talked about the the range of what he’s been doing on the corn fairy tour or whatever and all the great results that people are seeing like 5ifth 13th 7th 5th 20th been crushing it oh oh he’s coming out

First try if he makes the cut I’m good remember you’re not like you’re you just it’s not all you need he’s 5,900 bucks that’s very helpful if he makes the cut now people say I would say like bet him top 40 and then people say but I can’t

Get the payoff of winning a large field gpp well when you have them in your one or two lineups you still have a six game parlay essentially that you’re building where there’s one leg you need five more legs to be the nuts basically so I’m fine with it I’m I’m fine with that

Argument of you saying but that’s not I’m not going to get the payoff of it and that’s fine you could put 180 bucks on a top 40 at like whatever it is somebody look it up it’s got to be good though I don’t know what his top 40 is

Right now but I’m just saying that’s not just a made cut that’s a little bit more but it’s kind of what you’d be hoping for 5,900 you’re fine but secondly the other way is then say okay play the $10 18 Max and stop talking be about it put

Them in all 18 and get every combo you can with him because you think it’s his week then find out don’t one line if you’re doing one lineup with them then it’s probably one lineup with your five favorite plays how often do those lineups work I know anybody out there

Watching uh a lot of members over at CH Nation we don’t just talk about plays and picks and all that stuff we’re breaking down actual thoughts and process in the Discord all the time it comes down to the same thing my worst lineup that I thought was going to suck

Ended up crushing my best lineup was a two of six or a three of six it’s just because it doesn’t always go the way you think it’s going to go so even when you do it that way it feels good in your mind but it doesn’t mean it’s going to

Work out so I I would just say more times than not it’s not going to and I think you get a much bigger payout just doing it that way instead yeah and one other thing I’d like to see which I don’t even know what the possibility of

This is but like why are there so many guys in these PGA Tour events like why do you need 144 like it just Waters down the overall product I this isn’t a conversation about like DFS or anything but the fact that this many guys essentially based on the odds we’re

Looking at like I don’t know 80 70% of the field that DraftKings are saying they have no chance of winning the event because they’re priced just all the way down at the bottom and that’s correlated directly to the odds like these fields are just so watered down like on these

Non Elite or what do they call them pre Signature Events like cut down the number of guys there’s too many shitty dudes in the field each week but everybody says the opposite that’s funny you have that take because everyone said after these Signature Events where it’s

Like a hundred guys or 80 guys down to a 50 80 guys with 50 plus ties and anyone within 10 makes the cut everyone says that’s not enough the other side of it is though like you said is that you this kind of that’s the storyline right hoop

Is that what if a guy comes out the these guys if there’s never any consistency from these dud it’s not like they have good finishes and then they get to the top these guys just aren’t good and they’re in the field every week like just there should not be more than

Like 80 guys in a PGA Tour event ever in my opinion so guys like Stanger that just always come 35th and 38th just come well Stanger should be he should be part of the 80 for sure yeah of course and he do the Puerto Rico open he crushes so
