Week of the year to build a DraftKings lineup or to bet on the tournament because it is one of the biggest pain in the ass weeks for guys like you and I that that handicap and break these events down just Carnage like all all
You have to do if you want want to learn about this event and you don’t know anything about it just pull up the uh the course history Tab and you’ll see like even the guys that have won like their course history is miserable like it’s just brutal so yeah it’s one of the
Best weeks of the year I agree with you it feels like a little bit like it’s lost a little bit of its luster you agree with me on that because of the yeah I was actually it’s it’s funny we did no we did know like pre-talk before
This show like we didn’t like preset anything up and I wrote down that it used to be considered the fifth major and I don’t think it is the fifth major anymore because majors of allow live golf and we’ve already said countless times our opinions are live golf and the
Saudis and all that you know we don’t have to get into that but if it’s considered the fifth major don’t they have to let John R jokim nean you know Dustin Johnson into this event because otherwise this event just feels like another elevated event right now on the
PJ tour sucks because it went from being the best field in golf every year to I mean it’s obvious a great field still but like we’re missing like you said all those names I mean like how cool would it be to see Neiman who’s been tearing
It up exactly be in this tournament I’m waiting for nean for the Masters does he even qualify for the Masters year he got still he hasn’t fallen enough to fall out well he actually went out of his way to play in like uh DP World Tour and
That’s right yeah he’s done it right I mean it has lost a little bit of luster but still it is great where the Phoenix Open is great for the fans and attendance this is probably the most entertaining TV Tournament of the year because of the volatility because of the
Carnage because you just don’t know what’s going to happen not just because of whole 17 the island green but the whole course I mean there’s literally wood everywhere there’s some of the hardest Fairways to hit some of the hardest greens to hit I mean it takes literally the most well-rounded hottest
Golfers in the world to contend at this event it’s weird too because it’s like almost I kind of mentioned it earlier but it’s almost like course history does not matter at all all here like zero no it’s it’s insane and like you said that was a good point like it’s it’s a tough
It’s a tough course everybody recognizes 17 you know obviously it’s probably the most famous if not one of the most famous um holes on the whole tour but like this course is just like it’s completely wind dependent too it’s like at any given point this wind kicks up
Remember I think it was like two three years ago when 17 nobody could hit the green it was just like water ball after like I think Xander and Brooks were like Xander like I don’t know put up like a 12 on the hole and I think Brooks put up
Like a 10 or a nine or something it’s like it’s it’s crazy it’s chaos so they’ve said like I mean almost every single winner of this I I I forget where I wrote something down forget where it was it’s almost every single winner of this tournament has at least two missed
Cuts in their career at this tournament as well so just like just take course history it’s almost like just throw it out the window well there’s a lot of don’t even look there’s a lot of crazy weird stats about this like you know um only one player has ever won the Players
And Masters in the same here that’s it was Tiger in 2001 which is like Peak tiger yeah five players have won twice no one’s ever repeated so five of the whole time this this tournament’s existed only five people have ever won twice that’s insane and uh the defending
Champion has what did I say oh has never finished better than fifth in his title defense so like it’s just wild and it’s like you want to play Scotty this week but it’s like damn man I almost want to change I I’ve done my 20 lineups I

History I just want the best golfers that are the hottest right now I’m looking at the best guys right now Scotty sher’s been the best golfer forever and now he learned how to putt in one week I don’t know how much you watched last week is what he did last week
Sustainable is it the new putter I don’t know it’s hard to say it’s like I mean he looks pretty damn com inside 15 I think he was like over the weekend he was like 15 of 15 inside 15 feet something like that like I mean I
Know there was one stretch where he went like 10 straight holes with one putts right that’s that’s not their like we’ve said it all along I mean if he ever putts he wins by five and that’s funny because he won by five yeah he put it
Awesome but to me to Rick run good yesterday and he was breaking down I think it was Tom hogy and he’s like Tom hogi was where he finished last week it was in the top 10 somewhere yeah if he would have he he he lost like two
Strokes or so putting last week they’re like oh even if he breaks even he still doesn’t win he finishes in second but he still doesn’t win because Scotty sheffler was so dominant last week that you know it was insane I have a analogy SL comparison that I want to get your
Opinion on so I said all those those things about all those stats about how nobody’s ever repeated nobody’s ever finished better than fifth in their title defense and everything like that the only person that’s ever won both the players and the Masters in the same year was Tiger when he was insane
Was I would argue with you that there’s almost probably maybe not quite as big of a gap but there’s a huge gap obviously between tiger and the rest of the field back then right you can almost argue that that that was Scotty especially when he putts I think there’s

Go to all three this week I did actually glance at the 12 to see how many of my guys in my my my top 10 landed there and I also glanced at the 36 I tried to compare um and we’ll see if it pays off this week um Jason I asked you a
Strategy this week uh before the show a couple days ago about because of the Carnage what’s the better strategy we both are on the same page we do 20 lineups in the 20 Max entry um we try to keep our player pool somewhere between that 18 and 23 names that we we pick
From we normally go pretty heavy on two or three names and I asked you a very specific question I’m like I’m thinking of going from 20 lineups to 40 lineups so that I could stretch my pool and you said no stick to 20 lineups but still
Stretch your pool why why was why why was that your answer to my question because I just feel like because of the carage this we I feel like going overly heavy on anyone this week isn’t probably not that smart and like I was doing that too I was making
Lineups and I was thinking like oh shoot I have you know seven out of 20 eight out of 20 of so and so it’s like do I really want to do that I mean one miss cut and I’m I’m screwed see I normally
Go 12 14 15 on one guy so it was hard for me because like I built my first 20 lineups I got one guy at eight clicks and that I’m like I can’t I had like seven lineups left I’m like all right I can’t I’ll just say it Justin Thomas is
My most clicked guy this week I’m like I can’t click Justin Thomas for my last seven or eight lineups and I kind of like I felt weird doing it but it also kind of gives myself some some wiggle room if Justin Thomas goes out and shits
The bed this week so the irony starts right there we have uh Justin Thomas is your highest own Justin Thomas was the very last player I removed from my player pool wow that’s crazy I I I I we gotta get Scott on here I want to know
How you how you pull 60 names for 20 lineups and feel good with the balance that you’re putting in there because I kind of that’s the awesome way to do it that that’s what he does yeah I mean it’s I mean before when I first started doing DFS golf before Fairway to Heaven
Four years ago when I was just dabbling I would create three five 10 all completely random lineups with no overlaps but I always I I mean I’ve been taught and I’ve learned and I’ve read that you want to keep a concise pool one week in the coming weeks Scott I’m gonna
Try this I’m gonna try to find like because I always click 40 or 50 names and I trim it down I’m just gonna go go completely nuts with like 60 names I feel like I feel like we need Stewie on the show at some point yeah we we
Definitely need him on the show at some point um that it’s for this week though you know his his strategy is spot on I mean I I went I think I did 34 names this week which I don’t think I’ve ever done 34 names over 20 lineups
Before ever at this point I’ve got one two three four six seven I got nine names that have two one or two clicks only so you did 20 lineups again I did 20 well the 21st lineup will be the one we we do for our battle later on in the
Show but yeah I just did my 20 lives I have thought about still you know doing another 20 but I just don’t know if I have the time to I was going to do the same thing as you I was going to expand my player pool I ended up with 23 guys
In 20 lineups I just couldn’t so you totally went against what I asked you you gave me the advice and you went completely against it well I wanted more players in all fairness I just couldn’t find people that I liked it happened to me two weeks ago too and it was a
Disaster so there there’s not a lot of guys I love this week but because of the volatility there’s a lot of guys I like this week and that’s why I didn’t I mean you know me I always have 40 name starred 40 five names start and I trim
It down I just didn’t trim it down I just left them all on the board and I did not click a couple of the names like I didn’t click Joel Damon at 9 5100 you know I mean so like that was one of the names I eventually left off but most of
The big names that I that I I that I like this week just left them on the board speaking of Damon have you watched any of the uh full swing I just got one and that was it or episode one of season I watched too same I I love the SE first
Season and the first EP of season 2 fantastic with the uh it was all sent around the majors and stuff like that and you can really truly see this great great Segway to one of the other big names in Rory you can really see Rory’s frustrations last year when they were
Recording this uh really bubbling over it’s hard to not I don’t know feel for him like I was watching it with Jamie and she was saying the same thing she’s like she’s a person that just started watching golf because she met me and she was saying she’s like oh my God I feel
So bad for Rory like how do you win with all this pressure on you and he’s talk he’s talking about you know Liv versus PGA but he’s also talking about Brooks with four majors and him with four majors and then Brooks getting his fifth he’s like
Ah I I mean that that really tugged at my strings a little bit there it really did and I want now now I kind of want to see Rory get that fifth major I really I want him to see get the Masters like so bad I don’t think he will he’s still a
Little bit there still seems to be something off with Rory and he so Scotty Sheffer is the highest pric guy at 12,800 we’re going to talk about that price in a second Rory second at 116 when was the last time he even finished in the top 20 his last four events he

Saving I’m saving several dollars several units for weekend live betting you think that’s everybody live bets or or bets so quickly on these this this week like you didn’t everybody was bet before the waves were announced and everyone’s betting before they know who’s gonna make her miss the cuton I
Mean I don’t know I think I think it’s crazy to bet too much this week before the weekend comes around it’s funny that we’re doing the exact opposite in both DFS and betting I don’t ever bet on golfers and I put five I put I think I
Actually have money on six golfers now yeah that’s that’s that’s insane because that’s at least my bare minimum on a weekly basis right there so that comment by Stewie is he not a fan of Rory ever or just not this week uh oh I don’t know

To make a conscious decision this week like do you want to play Scotty and have the rest of your lineup like you don’t feel great about it or do you want to skip Scotty and then not have the best player in the world on your team it’s
Like it’s tough so I did a little bit of both yeah I I was I was contemplating it when I decide when I sat down at work this morning that was about like 12 o’clock at work today because yeah everybody that owns a restaurant is doing golf instead of running their
Restaurant at 12 o’clock um Scotty sheffler wasn’t on my card I was gonna completely fade him even though he’s number one in my model and everybody’s model across the world I was gonna fade him completely then I start diving into some of these 5K guys and stuff like that
And I’m like all right maybe I could squeeze a few clicks of Scotty sheffler in then by the time I’m done he’s my second most clicked guy behind Justin Thomas somehow I don’t know how I figured that out considering combined there’s seven clicks below 6K I’ve got as many clicks
On Scotty shefer as I do in the 5K I don’t know how I managed to pull that off I’m just I want to look to see if I have any below 6K I don’t know if I do there’s a couple guys we get down there there’s a couple guys that I think have
Some some value to maybe making a cut or something because it’s all you want with those 5K guys you want I did build a lineup with Scotty Sheffer and Justin Thomas in it I forget who else I put in there I think I had to put two 5K guys
And one of the the low 6K guys but with the volatility that’s going to happen this week who says that can’t happen yeah true you know you know that lineup could be four or six with Scotty and Justin Thomas missing the cut this is the first week I think that they’ve
Obviously the field strength is why but this is the first week that the 5K is actually tolerable to me yeah abely uh yeah this guy right here I got two clicks on him this week at 5700 um for sure um I I’ll just throw some of these out I got Hadley I got
Justin low with a couple couple clicks uh CT pan who I never play I clicked one time uh Silverman I’ve played him a few times this year uh he’s made a lot of cuts ETA Vera am I saying his name right etera I clicked him he’s M he’s he
Hasn’t missed a cut in three or four events and JJ spawn I don’t know why he was on my list uh but I could yeah so I I I had quite a few names in that in that 5K range that I liked along with Taylor pendrith who is
6k so basically right there in that same range there 5K guy and I absolutely love him my guy Sheamus power yeah you always love power it paid off so let let’s look at this board here top of the G obviously we’ve talked about Scotty we’ve talked
About Rory you also have Xander you have Justin Thomas who is my pick to win without a doubt I think he wins this event for the second time uh Patrick kentley Victor hlin I think there’s even the word volatility could be used in this 10K range and
Above so you have JT as the sixth scatter to ever win twice yeah JT I know I know JT I know I know he missed the cut of Genesis but for the most part you take that out he might be the hottest golfer on tour right now yeah so we talked
About Scotty already obviously love Scotty just a matter of can you get to him with your in your lineups uh my favorite and my pick to win is Victor hin how I I love Victor havin and I want him to win more so bad he would be great
With his personality for the game of golf for the PGA Tour specifically man he’s looked so bad by his standards his last time couple times out hasn’t been great but we’re looking at T3 last year T9 the year before that game set up for harder courses so the

Course he’s not gonna make a lot of bogeys he’s not gonna make a lot of birdies um I I feel like his number his 12% ownership right now is going to be every every week there’s two or three golfers that we project at one ownership that just skyrockets at the last second
I kind of feel like Russell Henley’s that guy but even with him say he gets to 15 or 16 it’s still probably worth it I mean yeah I thought he would be like closer to 20 and I was debating on like that being ridiculous but I mean right
He’s a guy that his game fits his scores perfectly he played I think had a really good finish last week right Henley yeah yeah absolutely so are are you on H Xander or uh or Patrick kley this week because I’m off of both of those guys as
Well I have no interest in playing either of them or betting either of them this week and you know I’m a kley guy I’m the only fan of golf out there that supports kentley on a dollars and cents basis but kle is not gonna win on a

I actually thought about completely fading the 10K and above range because the 9k range I think is fantastic it starts at the top with Willie zures who did I didn’t I say a few weeks ago the days of 50 to1 and 7,800 wills outour were gonna about to come to an end said
That yeah he’s back here he is at 9900 um I I I don’t know if I mentioned this like three weeks ago I got Willie zator 35 to1 to win The Masters you ain’t getting that number anymore okay what’s it probably about 20 now right it’s got to be around 2022 um this
Range is loaded with Nate and you could hypothetically skip Scotty skip Justin Thomas and just start at zator or one of the hottest golfers on tour hii who seems to be back in Prime form or wendam Clark who’s great Max hom spe morawa who I don’t know Sam Burns Shane Lowry

Route I feel more confident in this range going with guys that are consistently good maybe not have the great upside but definitely good guys I have two in this range uh the Forgotten man Stephen Jagger everybody loved him two weeks ago he’s been a little bit bad
The past couple weeks but yeah I put a few clicks on him this week and then uh Cam Davis I just love Cam Davis he used to be like the easy course guy now he’s tur into almost like the hardcore guy it’s weird so I like Cam Davis a lot
This week my sleeper drops down a little bit more not not betting wise I did not bet him uh but I put quite a few clicks on Doug gim at 6,800 um again I don’t think Doug gim could win this event you couldn’t do it don’t do it Doug gim man
