Game okay but no look you got to go give guys extensions in this case and I look look I get the fans and how upset they get with some of the stuff um with extensions being given to guys and then you get sucked you know you end up
Having to pay those salaries for example today Lamont Paris got a six-year extension um Todds will take him through 2030 which is great I think he’s going to do a good job here I think he’s already doing a good job here and but every time we get into this
Situation with coaches and salaries and money and all this and everybody goes why do they do that then why not just give him a one-year deal well then the reason Todd Golden’s getting this and the reason that Lamont Paris or got his extension is the reason that they have
Been very good at at what they’ve done so far and you’re afraid somebody’s going to take them away and there are schools I’m sorry that are bigger than Florida and South Carolina in basketball and one of them is Ohio State so you know think about that that you don’t know what’s
Coming open okay that’s the thing you never know what job is going to come open uh Florida the Florida job was pretty big at one time I don’t know how big it is right now you you’re selling out the arena most days it’s still a
Pretty big job but I and look if Ohio State hired Todd golden I would not have been shocked by that I think he’s shown that he can have success and you got a young guy coming up and of course you go to Ohio State you’re not going anywhere
From there unless you go to the NBA so um it’s a good move for Florida to make this move um and certainly a good move for South Carolina because Lamont Paris was one of the names I saw on the list I saw a lot of weird names like Nate oats
Would he do that would he go to maybe he would I I don’t know that Alabama is that far below o Ohio State and basketball it may be as good as right now or what he’s done with that program um I’ve seen a lot of big names on that
List of people that are could get HED so we’ll see what happens but anyway the big news is for uh for us here in Gainesville Todd golden extension on his contract through the 2033 season I can’t believe I’m saying 2030 and and and I’m saying 2030 like
It’s around the corner you know oh my gosh I hope I see 2030 that’s that’s all I care about all right number two on the process service of games will starting five and that is Kyle pittz uh and his comments yesterday well he weren’t even his comments this was the Kirk Cousins welcoming
Um you know press conference uh Kirk Cousins of course signing with the Falcons says he can retire as a falcon he opes that’s his plan um you could definitely see that but Kyle pittz uh is going to wear was you know he was number eight and that’s what Kyle cousins um
Number is and Kirk Cousins they you get the Kyle’s messed up we had Kyle TR and Kyle pittz here at the same time it was brutal uh but Kirk Cousins so anyway he um KY Pitt says no you get you can have the number eight and he goes well I I’ll
Pay you for it how much you want he goes I want the ball just throw me the ball you target me you don’t pay me one cent I am happy I don’t care about the eight I just want to play and get the ball in
My hands and I hope that that works it it made makes me want to be a Falcons fan and you know me my fan base shifts every year I’m always kind of a Chiefs guy because I love momes but I mean look I don’t own any chap stuff I I wouldn’t

Did have to talk about Gator baseball it it it was not good Tuesday night you know Florida was 18 and3 under Sully here and of course we remember the game they lost two nothing when they were it was the day before Co oh gosh that was a
Good padly story time too um and FSU beat him in Florida was undefeated at the time well FSU is undefeated now now they haven’t played that many good teams but they played Florida and and they handled Florida’s pitching uh um it’s it’s not looking that great for Florida
Right now um because they you know now you’re getting ready to start League Play Texas A&M comes in here undefeated as well and with the best ER in the country they and it’s Florida doesn’t look very good right now does kags look good yeah does Colby Shelton look good
Absolutely um Ty Evans is off to get start but that’s something the problem obviously the pitching is a problem KAG leó is the only guy you can count on I um I’ve talked to a lot of people who still think Liam Peterson’s going to be all right uh that you know for a
Freshman you got some Growing Pains nobody’s sure what to think of Kate fiser and I don’t know what you would do there and and Sully talked about today about or I guess it was yesterday about um the possibility of just flipping him around the order maybe he starts KAG
Friday night but I know he doesn’t want to start CAG on Friday night and the reason is because you pitch the first game and you’re playing and then you’re tired on Sunday but if you you know can save your energy for Sunday that that’s the theory behind it and and the other
Theory is hey if we get if we split the first two we got kags on Sunday we can get win the series and it’s all about winning series I get that um so we’ll see if he changes it up at all I I feel like Kate fiser needs to
Go to the bullpen he was really good out of the bullpen and long relief last year and that’s where what I would put him back there obviously the Friday night starter is not um it’s just not working um so I but I don’t know where else you go because
When you look at this team and you look in the bullpen you look at all the other guys that are pitching you look at the Freshman look at the older guys none of them are pitching well the only one that’s pitching well is Kang Leon um you
Know my guy was Alex philon I said man start him against I tell you what you got to do you got to start him against FSU get to just ear to get into Sully’s ear that’s the guy man walked four and two and well ending
In a third I think two3 I’m like okay maybe not him they got a lot of problems I think they have 76 walks right now that’s not good that t your what 16 games 10 and six so we’ll see Sully usually figures things out maybe it’s not fig it’s not fixable we’ll see
Because we there had been years when it wasn’t fixable and they weren’t very good and they still got in the NCA tournament but they weren’t in there very long so I’m not panicking I’m just saying the early look is not not a great one it doesn’t feel like a great team
Everybody was so high when they beat Miami two out of three um you still want to do that now you gota win the last two to beat FSU two out of three all right let’s get to number four on our process service of gamesville starting five and that is the Players Championship which
Is this week I’ve talked to a bunch of people who are going over there uh somebody asked me if I was going to go and I and look I’m trying not to be this old guy yelling at the clouds and like how am I going in my
Day they piped it in we listened to it on the photograph um I’m not g to be that guy and my wife got me to go to a play and did do we were trying to do more things but walking around the golf course uh is only fun when to me when
You’re playing play I have been there many times I have covered probably 15 or 20 players championships and I love it but you know what it’s a big weekend man it’s a big weekend for college basketball I hope Florida’s around for it if they are great I’m not going to be
At the Players but the 2tv system again coming in they’re both sitting there R warmed up and ready to go so you can have the players on one and basketball on the other if the players gets boring you flip it over to something else Big 10 Championship or
Whatever um so I’m looking forward to it um you know Sheffer won last week so you I I would I would pick him as the favorite probably um we’ll see what Rory can do by the time some of you listening you already know who’s in the first round
Lead it’ll be fun to watch so I and again I think a lot of it is I you know when I I talk about all the time and I know it’s gets old have I got to play Augusta in 1996 I’ll probably never get to play again and and it made the course
So much come alive for me so much more but the players I probably played 30 times I mean in the old days back in the old days back in my day they let you play golf for free you didn’t have to pay anything so no that was in the media
Obviously in Jacksonville and they treated us really nice and you could go out there pretty much I mean you had to situate yourself and there would be media days usually one or two a year in fact I played the media day with Jeff a couple years ago um from here so they
They let us go over there so anyway I’m looking forward to it I don’t have a winner I I look I know Billy hor is not gonna win he never plays well there I know I I it’s hard to pick the guy who won last week because I always think even though
They have momentum they’ve got distractions but it was Scotty Sheffer he doesn’t get distractions all right I’ll go with Scotty Sheffer how about that number one player in the world who won last week out on the limb I’m way out there on the limb you can barely see the ground I’m
So far out on the limb okay all right finally number five on process service of gamesville starting five uh I did watch as I had on um a couple of game I was watching the SEC basketball tournament and on my other TV I said I’m flipping around I go
I know there’s another tournament and I found the Kansas game Kansas was playing Cincinnati which I’m like whoa there I forgot that they’re in that conference now that’s how weird it was and I’m I’m watching the game and Cincinnati’s a better team and they’ve beat Kansas and
Kansas is already out of that tournament and I can tell you that I like Kansas fans uh being around them in uh Omaha that one year because they were in the same is Florida even though they didn’t play Florida or they weren’t in the bracket of Florida they were in the same
Pod and I always like and I said Kansas fans are Kentucky fans but they’re younger and drunker um it’s it’s a it’s not the blue hairs it’s it’s people that are having you know made some money and they’re having a great time and and they
They’re they I’m sure I where is the um is it in Indianapolis the uh big TW no the Big 12 I don’t know where it is anyway wherever it is I’m sure they’re disappointed in all the bars and restaurants because that knocked off a big part of their big chunk of their
Crowd but the bigger issue is what is going on at Kansas because you watch them play and you go wait a minute why are they not better than this why are they’ve lost so many games they’ve lost home games they’ve they just um and again everybody’s entitled to it down
Here right and this year may be for Bill self again I’m not a bill self fan um you get away from let’s see he’s cheated really badly and uh let’s give him a lifetime contract he’s the will Wade of the Big 12 while aing him a lifetime contract

Doome Gator Studios I am padie and I am the guest today because and again we we look we’ve never struck out on guest the only guest we ever struck out on was the one day the sper forgot to come and remember we were all worried about him
That something happened to him that was it but today we had double strike us and I I didn’t want to take call strike three so I figure we could just do this we could talk about things and look we’ve been good about this and and uh that’s all I’m going to say about
Um all right so I did want to talk about what is what is I was going to talk to Ross Dinger about and that is that the U it feels like they’re about to do this thing with the 14 team playoff uh today the ACC and the Big 12 voted to accept
It now obviously the one that the two that matter are the ones once they accepted it’s accepted and that’s the SEC and the Big 10 but now we’re going to we could get to a 14 team playoff when just a few years ago we were a two
Team playoff and that that took doing that took hammering and yelling and screaming and shaking your fist at the clouds and everything until you got a two team playoff now we’re going to be up to 14 which is great I love it it means more football means more teams get
In mean means more inclusion which is what the I know that the group of five teams were uh worried about um I want to see the final plan before I really comment on it though because I know that the SEC and Big 10 are going to be guaranteed a certain amount of of
Spots in there I have a problem with it um and here is my problem with it what if the third team in the SEC isn’t that good what if they’re an eight and4 or yeah eight and4 Texas you know uh an Alabama and Georgia have dominated I or Texas and
Georgia have dominated and Alabama is that team at eight for and that’s the third best team you’re like okay well they did play a tough schedule because they played in the SEC and that’s the toughest place to play and everything I get that but there’s a team here that’s
11 and one but they’re in a lesser conference but I’ve watched them play and itest tells me they’re better and my feeling is they that team should get in hopefully they got it if they get it to 14 it’ll still get enough people in I know that the SEC fan bases out there
Are likely thinking to themselves guys we’ll probably get six in man just be ready for it um but I would my guess would be that they would get four in most years I mean they’re guaranteed to get three so I’m just adding one more and if you you know if they’re all
Beating each other and can cannibalizing each other but they’re only doing that at the top there’s a difference between cannibalization of a of a conference uh throughout it and and just top if it’s just at the top and let’s say Alabama’s beaten Georgia but lost to Texas and
Beaten Oklahoma and Oklahoma beat out beat this team and and Georgia beat them you know what I’m saying if that’s what it is okay you can still be all right with that but it but my fear is that we’re not going to get the best teams
We’re going to leave the best teams out um to you know because I’m I I still ought to see the plan but we’re going to lead the best teams out to uh calow to the conference that we love and the other conference up there so hey you know it’s probably going to get
Tweaked it’s probably G to get changed it’s probably G to get expanded again uh believe me I I wouldn’t be D in got it wouldn’t bit but um we’ll see what happens there I did also want to talk about Nick Sabin in Washington I watched
A lot of what he had to say up there it did it did feel a little hypocritical you know these kids all they want is money of course I’m getting all the money but um I I but I thought he was pretty good and maybe that’ll make
Somebody’s it’s it was a what was it called a senate um golly Roundtable yeah Senate round table and so I don’t know I I I don’t think I don’t think they I I don’t even know why they bothered you know we can handle this we’ll get it solved
Eventually it’ll all work itself out Congress doesn’t need to get in the middle of this thing and all of a sudden make it something that it’s not it’s already what it isn’t that’s already happened but the NCAA has got to just step in and figure
This thing out and do it the right way I have answers they don’t want to hear but I do also understand why they don’t want to hear because many of my answers would be litigated and probably lose in court so what are you going to
Do um and so we’ll see we’ll see where that goes and whether we end up getting a commissioner that everybody keeps talking about I still everybody says well save it it’ be perfect that no he wouldn’t be say wouldn’t be good for that what’s going to happen the first time he rules against
LSU I’m sorry that player will be suspended oh now because it’s sa it because it’s um because it’s an Alabama guy now you need to bring in like a Mike SL type or a Greg sanki type somebody who’s got who’s been around leagues but he’s he’s he’s he’s willing to judge
Everybody with an even hand now you’re not g bring in Greg sanki because he would vote for the SEC most times but somebody liked that that’s what I think but I don’t know well there’s no movement to get a commissioner as far as I can tell all right uh it is time for

Long as the average human is expected to live which be about I guess 40 or 50 more years oh almost definitely yeah I mean it once the ball gets rolling down the hill it doesn’t stop rolling it’s just going to keep going when when they can add more games and add more uh
Revenue and and this and that I mean yeah yes it will definitely happen yeah I it’s like a snowball rolling downhill and it’s just going to um I agree with you now I had this question already for me uh and you know the the answer was
Well maybe not because I could be dead tomorrow um right let’s get to number two on yes no way or maybe and okay will Wade is a coach at MCN will Wade was a coach at LSU he got fired there for cheating we all know that story um and
He cheated really bad he is a coach at MCN they qualified for the NCAA tournament so Zack I gotta ask you yes no where or maybe LSU fans are rooting against mcne state in the tournament oh yeah uh it’s tough to gauge I’m going to say yeah they’re
Rooting against him because uh I don’t know they he tarnished their program and they’re I don’t they’re college sports fans and they like to hold grudges and they do things that don’t necessarily coincide with logic so I’m going to say probably yes yeah I think a lot of them will I I
Will be um I don’t like the guy at all but um it’s interesting that he had he was suspended for the first 10 games of this year um you know because of the NCAA violations and I’m like why 10 games what who comes up with
These things I don’t I’m I I I will be rooting hard against MCN I’ll tell you that all right finally on yes no where maybe with Zack Rothrock number three you celebrate St Patrick’s Day which is coming right around the corner I’ll tell you what when I was at
The University of South Carolina I celebrated St Patrick’s Day extremely extremely hard that was about good God that was I graduated 10 years ago I didn’t even really think about that yeah uh I I’ve kind of in a different life now different space I probably won’t
Celebrate it as much but yeah going down to Five Points at Columbia South Carolina uh oh yeah everything was green the vomit was green the yeah I I did definitely do it back in those days yeah I think everybody did I I remember going out to the NCAA
Tournament in um gosh what would that have been 20 2009 I think um no 10 and uh it was in it was on St Patrick’s say and a lot of times when we’ be going to it it would be St Patrick’s Day so I’d always pack
Something green but then I got to a point where hey look I’m Irish every day I don’t need to celebrate one day and and so I showed up in Oklahoma City and the guy was like where’s your green he goes oh let me give you a green t-shirt
So he gave me a green t-shirt so I want wander around with that thing on I think I took it off when I got home and threw it away way but uh it wasn’t it wasn’t attractive but yeah I’m not a big St Patrick’s guy my name’s Patrick you know
I’m Irish yes every day and I don’t have it that one day U so I don’t really I don’t go all in on it but uh anyway all right that is going to do it for yes no way or maybe we’ll take a break we’ll

I know he didn’t invent it but he’s the first guy I heard say it that you’re loyal to your paycheck and you know you you want all your players and coaches and everybody to be loyal right but really nobody’s loyal nobody’s loyal anymore especially with what’s going on
Well here we had a new one Trev Albert steps down as the ad at Nebraska where he played where he was an All-American and now he’s going to uh Tex S&M which is a better job no doubt about it it’s a much better job better
Sports there know if you want to be a if you want to be a women’s basketball or gymnastics coach it’s it’s good there um so um so somebody calling me I wasn’t a guest um so he yeah but that’s all I’m saying I I don’t disagree with making
That move uh and he kind of the fact that Nebraska hired him we thought was kind of surprising I think he’d been at some small school up there um but as soon as he got a chance to go he went loyalty there is no loyalty anymore in anything okay
The only people who are loyal are the people who have been around so long they don’t have they don’t have the energy to leave that’s it nobody’s loyal well it’s like Kirk FR is loyal to Iowa and he’s turned down other job offers so he’s loyal to Iowa and I’ll
Give him that he may be the only guy in know all right uh let’s get to number two on our Hesser and kipy three things and that is is uh Florida’s net ranking which I thought I would look up just I was curious and see if there was anything there and
Um it went up and I’m like man Florida just needs not to play if they don’t play any they could be number four or five it goes up now they’re up to 33 and uh that’s good for them uh but look the bottom line is and by the time many of
You are listening this Florida will have either won or lost on Friday night I know that but they hope they won because they need to get I I know that would be beat beating Mike White three times which is hard to do it’s hard to beat a
Team three times we all know that um let’s see what happens but if they lose that game you know they’re going to be stuck like a 10 seater somewhere right now they’re still a seven uh and both the um both um Jerry palm and lonardi both have them as a seven so I’m

Got to the final they would have to play anybody they hadn’t already beaten because they’re obviously they’re playing Georgia tonight so who knows I just wanted to play well I I I I need to get another win you get get this win against Georgia I know it’s tough to win

News is baseball of course they’re playing A&M we’re going to go Saturday night it’s Karen’s birthday party celebration kind of and uh because our birthday is Tuesday so um baseball plays at 6:30 on Friday 6:30 on Saturday and one on Sunday they’re all only on the
Plus so unless you have ESPN plus I’m not promoting it I’m just saying unless you have it you’re going have to be out there I think place will be packed it usually is for a beautiful weekend hopefully we don’t get any of this rain that may come Saturday but we’ll see
What happens uh so you got that going on baseballwise gymnastics quad meet coming up um in the um they do have number 18 NC State in this one so that’ll be interesting uh that is I think also on the plus that’s at 6:45 which all means s 6:45 to get
You in there they want everybody settled before before the ladies Start Tumbling um so that’ll be a quad meet and luckily they do quad meets a lot better than they used to so that’ll be fun and that’ll be it for the Gators at home then then they go to the sec’s and they

The two against Indiana and of course the PLAYERS Championship I’ll be watching a lot of this it’s on if you’re looking for it Saturday 2 to 7 Sunday 2 to 6 of course they’ll go to the conclusion and that is on NBC if you want to watch it during the week today
