Welcome to stop number two the Alabama Bass Trail North Division presented by Phoenix boats here on beautiful Smith Lake and Jasper Alabama we’re going to kick things off the way we always do at each and every Alabama Bass Trail by honoring our great nation with the playing of our national anthem

All right here we go as you can see we’ve got a lot of boats starting to stack up up here at Smith Lake Dam before we get the tanks up here stacked up with spotted bass and Largemouth we’re going to bring up the one and only the boss lady Miss K

Donaldson it turned out to be a beautiful day despite what we normally get at the Alabama Bass Trail and uh I think we’re fixing to see some bass from these 221 teams out here today trying to win 15,000 it is you know it’s always great to come to Smith Lake I cannot say

Enough about Linda Lewis the volunteers here and how smoothly things went this morning that is a credit to the Alabama Bas team but it’s also a credit to the volunteers that showed up at 400 a.m. I mean rolled out the red carpet for these guys and I mean you you can’t do events

This size without having that kind of um you know kind of co-workers really so I’m excited to be here 11th time we’ve been to uh Smith Lake actually 12th time because we came here for a 100 as well so 12th time we’ve been here to Smith Lake and it’s always been a fun

Tournament and it we always see a lot of bass weight in and I I think we’re here at a perfect time without a doubt this is I I come here with my kids a lot on spring break this is always the week and it is the most fun my kids think Jasper

Alabama is basically Disney World uh that’s how they’ve been brought up and for good reason this is an amazing facility an amazing Lake and we know it’s going to show out this afternoon you know Partnerships like this with people like Alabama Power you know Walker County the Chamber of Commerce

This is why fishing is economic development in these communities and that’s why they invest into tournaments like us like bass like MLF to come here and have these Anglers spend time on their water spend their money in their stores and restaurants and things like that so thank you to everyone in Walker
