Of us right now that is just getting underway is Ramblers from Oakland versus Dodgers the local team from Hut Valley Dodgers in their traditional black strip and the first base Dugout and Ramblers in their white uniform today in the third base Dugout I’m Gary Ro for ballpark broadcasting I’ll be your play
Byplay comment on this one joining me in color commentary uh is local softball expert coach player/ many hats Craig Wallace that’s uh great to welcome you long Craig thanks Gary no problem mate we see the first headit out to Short Stop it’s the black sock Captain who
Doesn’t get the best throw away well handled out there by leis Gerard at first base to take the tag for the first out that was twiin Carana there on uh in the leadoff for Dodgers we’ll quickly uh run you through the batting order while we’re out there
T Koto the first out of course followed by Aaron Dormer then Dallas Clifton bod Foley then woodu amay Logan Paul Wy followed by Brian Wy taaha Wilson a Lincoln Foley and round rounds out their order defensively for Ramblers out there uh right field is Devin Carr center field Maddox rice Bradley Bennett at
Left Cole Evans at shortstop ree evens in the Hot Corner Brock Evans at second base leis Gerard at first Floyd Nola doing the pitching there to Ryan early behind the dish Craig uh probably an interesting game but fair to say Ramblers The Firm favorites in this one yeah yeah there’s some this Dodgers
Team’s pretty young they’ve just come back to the premier grade this year after a year away so um kind of rebuilt their club and yeah back at their first Nationals so um yeah it’ll be it’ll be an eye opener for some of these young boys up against obviously rambler’s you
Know been dominating soft for in in New Zealand for the last you know sort of half or last little while any at least think I think they won the last four or five in a row so defin definitely um you know definitely small glitches on the radar but otherwise business as usual
For R definitely a tough ask here for the young Dodgers team so well that’s about coming here and just putting your best foot forward yeah you know this Ramblers team unless it’s something major has happened outside Diamond 1 coming and they are the uh unbeaten team
I’m not sure how Dodgers have got on today um I watched their game this morning they played before us so um they got up in TI breaker maybe 2-1 or 3-2 something like that against Kaio so yeah good win for them they were down one nil
Late came back and tied it up and then one and I think nine innings maybe maybe double tie breaker wow well there we go uh for strikeout out there to Floyd noler uh we’re just looking at Floyd noler is one of these sort of five tools
In the in the tool box players um there’s a few of them out there you got Marshall Kon uh playing for Pepi um who can hold their place in the team as a better uh and probably anywhere they field as well but uh Floyd noler another one of those players yeah yeah
Definitely like Floyd’s a really good hitter plays plays a great Outfield he’s good defensively throws the ball well obviously he’s good on the on the M does a bit of everything to be fair does it all well too nice and quickly there for Ramblers in this one three up and three

Welcome back ladies and gentlemen we’re in the bottom half of the first Innings we didn’t get an opportunity to run through the Ramblers defensive lineup but we will get an opportunity to run through the betting lineup um the lead of hitter will be number 21 Brock Evans
Devin Carr will come in followed by black so Captain Cole Evans number 30 leis Gerard then Floyd noler Bradley Bennett will come in after that Reese Evans madx rice and Ryan early rounds out their order we’ll quickly run you through the defensive lineup for Dodgers out of right fielders T Kiana Logan Paul
Woly at Center Lincoln Foley at left Aaron Dormer at shortstop Brian Wy at third base bod Foley at second Dallas Clifton at first Marte mackas will’ll be doing the pitching out on the hill to taah how Wilson behind the dish as you say it is quite a young
Lineup yeah with the exception of B Foley out there obviously Gary but um yeah the rest of them pretty young um you know like we said before this this Dodgers team is a young team but they played PK to start the tournament last one I so um you know same same as
Anything in softw if you get a good performance off the mound and they’ve got Young um young M out there who’s um young boy from Czech Republic patched in the under 19 World Cup earlier you know six months or so ago um and help held that the strong hitting PK line up to
One so we’ll see how we go today yeah but yeah he’s definitely um a Difference Maker for this lineup you know yeah strong young throws hard good command of his rotation and capable of uh keeping teams quite for seven Innings uh it’s a step up to ask him to do the same
Against this round Ramblers lineup we saw um yesterday on diamond 1 what they did to the uh PK team uh when they put them to the sword and four Innings PK the local Champions this year in mington uh and Ramblers uh other than the first innings were all over them in that
One yeah it be interesting to see how he goes today um like I said it’s pretty young pitch and catching combination young Tao Wilson’s pretty tidy behind the plate one of the better young catchers in the country obviously caught far Valley this here at the under 19
It’s um here in January so yeah I’ve seen a bit of tahar as he comes through the uh as he’s come through the grades very promising young player yeah he’s tily behind the plate throw as well so it’ll be interesting to see what Nate does here how um H um
Obviously retaliates to there well Brock Evans made his way to first base on the walk um just a bit of a shaky start for mte mcass uh the Czech Republic pitcher out here uh de car’s number 77 at bat for Ramblers uh Cole Evans Ramblers a
Team uh pretty much blessed I’ve got uh pictures of the caliber of Nick Hayes and uh Daniel Chapman on the bench so quite a bit of a luxury for them yeah definitely I mean they got they got depth all over the park obviously got a really strong program
That that rambas club obviously Lio Nate has um together over the last like we said the last decade or so um popped up high and handsome out at left field finally nicely taken out there in left field by Lincoln Foley did a good job and what is a very strong swirling
Breeze out there um quite a difficult job made it look easy just a nice little summers’s breeze out there in the area I’m not too sure what me we don’t have strong winds we have gentle breezes yeah I wonder if that’s what happened on C in
The first inning it’s only other uh it’s only other um places in New Zealand have strong on and there we go Cole evens doing what he does he’s just shunted it out to the Outfield fence that is going to score the runner it comes in now for the first
Run of the ball game Cole Evans sitting out there at second base yeah um try to throw change up they obviously LIF it well too high and um yeah definitely too good or better to make a mistake like that on if you hang it anywhere near the Zone it’s going to
Do exactly what it just did yeah hung it right in the middle so can’t do much with that number 30 leis Gerard who in that panii Kil berie game helped himself to a Grand Slam by putting it over the center field fence man nice play in the first inning
Too like you said on the throw from Cole little offline um made a nice athletic play to get off the base make the tag now they’ve got uh the Ramblers and Orland softballs have bought back Nick ha into the New Zealand environment and I know for a lot of us that’ enjoy
Watching a world class pitcher at work so good to see him back at work here in New Zealand yeah good good I used um obviously he’s catched Nick at Dodgers for many years it’s good to see him back in the country we won’t we won’t say
We’re too excited to see him maybe after this weekend it’ll be better but better when he’s playing for you playing against you yeah it was a lot easier to catch him than hit off him yeah yeah but we won’t talk him up too much and he he he doesn’t need a spell no
More well you know from from guys like myself who uh who thrive on uh on seeing that sort of quality um regardless of how you feel about it I’m just wondering if he talks to Nate as much as he used to talk to Stevie about trying to get in the hitting lineup
Yeah bet he can bet one of the great hitters of of the pitch one of the great hitting pitchers in the country if youn to be fair to there was one year couple of years so he smashed it for us the year I think of the year we won on
The clubs in Nelson yeah he was smashing the ball all over the place yeah he had the ball on the piece of string at that the clubs as well definitely do dominated that whole tournament there’s a nice catch out there at second base as Louis Gerard hits that one like a laser
Beam uh to second base B FY nice job yeah nice play there by by obviously the older Statesman of this doers lineup Floyd noler up to bat now number 99 for Ramblers saying that B’s been playing really well this he’s had a good season but he’s played the games I’ve seen them
Play clubs he’s been smashing the ball as well played him I think he was playing Short Stop last game I saw him soing the clock back yeah definitely spare heading that that infield defense for Dodgers um and setting the tone for them as well good quality out there
It’s interesting uh Team Craig you talk about their youth um if they can keep the presence on the mound uh in a couple of years this is going to be a threatening team I would think yeah that’s always going to the the issue that we have a little bit here in the H
Moment we’ve got a couple of young younger pitches coming through yeah um but they you know they’re only young so it’s going to you know they’re a couple of way years away from being a dominant presence in the in the National setup but um you know sometimes you got to
Make do you know be bringing ping overseas to help you out while you let you you know you let your young Talent grow so well that’s another thing to talk about I mean there are quite a number of teams here the at the uh tournament that are relying on
International pitching um you know it’s nice to see them and the quality is raised because of it um but also uh it doesn’t it says a lot about the struggles we’re having with our own pitching domestically yeah 100% I mean it’s something that obviously needs addressing um you know it’s probably not
Not as called a pitch as it used to be back in the day absolutely yeah but you know definitely something that um you know I mean it’s you look back in you know was sophomore New Zealand and through the you know late 70s through the 80s and 90s there was a lot of
Overseas pitching that was in the country and and and our hood is definitely um you know yeah definitely better from that and um you know and our heading came a long way over this year so hopefully something like that happens again but it’s you know the more the more International and better pitching
You see the better hitting you that’s right they face better quality hitting and in the meantime it’s Dodgers who got out of that one without impacting the scoreboard and so n after one complete and we’ll go into the second innings in just a minute after a few messages
94.9 to stop that’s where it sounds are the best every day of the week better than all the rest we let the music all the B 9 and More All well welcome back ladies and gentlemen and there’s a nice indication of the strength of the breeze out there as we said a nice gentle norwester out there uh we’ve got uh second Innings action here now Ramblers taking on Dodgers here in day two of the 2024 National open
Clubs championship and we didn’t get an opportunity to uh do it in the in the first Innings but we will run through the Ramblers defensive lineup again did I do it I just got the KN losing my marbles I’ve done it we won’t do it again we won’t repeat ourselves
You should have just covered that up by saying for the people who missed the start who missed it the first time yeah admitting I’d already done it saved me from saying it again and there we go the breeze is taking out the ambient microphone there yeah it’s um getting a little little
Rough here oh it’s cause the sun to come out I mean you look at those pictures beautiful bright Sunshine out there up until about a second ago yeah little little um Breeze just flowing through the park yep challenging conditions especially uh for some of our players from overseas
And there’s an indication of how challenging it is first the microphone then one of the Gaz EBAs she’s all happening there off the diamond at the moment it’s almost more entertaining than the softball a nice pitch there we go Floyd Nola puts normality break into the proceedings won’t be minding this little
Breeze either a big push obviously coming from Left Field to um to right so that you know that um enough that was a maybe a spin a change or little curve ball curve like the wind turned it into a curve but yeah definitely broke more than I’ve seen Floyd normally break the
Ball there so maybe it was something just let the the Bree take over there wind assisted why wouldn’t you there we go the upshot of that was B Foley picks himself a walk challenging conditions for a pitcher they do like a bit of a breeze to help their pitching but uh you know
Something that’s kind of half a forc 10 Gale so much of a crosswind here yeah So obviously um would my DP in this game pick up for for Dodgers from AIS I believe ah yeah W he’s been doing a bit of pitching for them he’s another one of these five T players who can pitch bat field and play wherever he’s needed yeah put down a nice BN obviously
Um talking up Lewis’s defense in the first inning we OB have to talk on him obviously May too so um yeah nice little though put a bit of pressure on the field and brings up young Logan Paul W Dodgers who are in the early stages of this match finding themselves to be very
Competitive Runners at one and two here in the second Innings Logan Paul willly on B’s box right now going to work yeah big boy Logan I believe he’s only I may be wrong here 15 maybe 16 oh okay um he he’s got a big future him
He’s a really good hitter for his age strong kid H the ball hard younger brother of the on deck hit of Brian woy um but yeah yeah he’s both these boys swing the bats well Logan’s um he’s a pretty good athlete so no looking to go work again
He leans back here comes the pitch yeah nice rise ball for this time and that uh does the job on Logan Paul willly for the first out nice strike out like you’re talking about earlier too Gary you know young the Youth of this team seeing pitching like this you know
They don’t see pitching like this every day so coming out seeing this stuff only going to make them better as they come come through the grades and oh Floyd Nola this last past year has made the elevation into the black sock training Squad so he’s there or
Thereabouts y I believe he went to American Summer as well with yes yes traveled away so uh you know it’s good to see that at the highest level we’re pulling the uh pulling the young Talent through as well oh and he’s a great kid you know
Like um I remember a couple years ago when the World Cup was on he came down and helped out I was catching the denark team came pitched a game for us when we got a couple injuries on our pitching staff and came and pitched against Argentina for us and I just saw him
Literally came to the park to watch one of our games we played at o Maris and see we had a couple injuries what was he doing to he goes yeah what time you need me turned up the next day in his work GE and throw a uniform on and threw about 10
Innings he you do we see him pop up um especially his pickups in the last few years um I’ve seen him at the KE at the um PK tournament on two or three occasions coming down and playing for Wellington teams um definitely seems to have a willingness to work wherever it’s
Needed oh he’s the ideal picker wasn’t he pitches well hits well plays The Outfield well can put him anywhere put him any Outfield position yeah on the m and he hits in the middle of your lineup so perfect pick up really he is and he’s easy to look after it’s not hard
Work like I said he fits into you know fits into teams well too so well he’s he’s a tall kid but uh there’s not a lot of him and that wind must be playing Havoc with his equilibrium out there this time one hit hard down the left field line into foul territory Brian
Will it is doing the hitting out there at the moment yeah another one that played in the H Valley on 19 team earlier this year um DP for that team so he he can hit the ball strong kid it’s the ball hard big swing I was fine with the um current
Crop of young kids coming through not a lot of fear in them in terms of who they’re facing it doesn’t really really matter not much changes yeah well the plus side of Youth oh well um plus side of Youth too right you plus side probably even know who they’re facing you know like
It’s just another pitch right yeah who we playing today we got Ramblers okay cool yeah yeah yeah give me the bet I’ll go and do my job and nice job done by Brian woy and in the early stands of this ball game Dodgers going very well in this one they’ve got Bases
Loaded only one down and have given themselves the opportunity uh to get one across home plate right now interesting young Tao Wilson coming up to here hitting left-handed so he’s predominantly been a right-handed hitter his whole life from well from what I’ve seen him play from a young age y
Um so switch hitting is obviously something needs to develop yeah yeah he’s just started i s I only actually noticed him hitting in the under 19 final the other night he looked really good left-handed actually but yeah funny the game I watched him earlier today he was hting right-handed
So I’d suggest he’s probably pretty quick around the bases yeah he runs well heading from this side of the Box you’re looking to get a jump he looked really like I said the 119 F they look really good so hopefully it’s something that he’s going to stick
With that becomes valuable in a team lineup as well doesn’t it the ability to change it so TAA obviously because he’ known should have known him from K he’s cousin so yeah um they’ve grown up together playing softball and all sorts of sports together and stuff like that and
Obviously his cousins day a bit of bit of chat um bit of B yeah bit of B so it’s now that they’re both catches yeah well I remember when they were younger obviously Zar only just started catching the last few years to help out really yeah um but Tao was always the catcher
When they were playing at Saints when they were younger interesting one because um where would you see Zar playing in the future I think Zar will be a midin f um we don’t have catching at the moment you know like he’s really just catching to help us out
Um yeah no I I don’t yeah I don’t I don’t think he’ll catch for much longer this might be end of this week I mean you know the kids themselves might change your mind on that one at some stage but you never know yeah well it’s
Quite funny like back to Tiger so he’s a boy girl twin obviously like M are yeah so they were all playing when they younger obviously his twin sister T here four of them taking up four of of the N spots T used to be the catch as I was a
Short stop me was C pitching and Tedd Hill was the second base so took out half the SC lineup that’s right yeah interesting so that it’ll be good like I said he’s just starting to do it but under the he’s quite natural with that um he
Quite natural be good for him to stick with it and see how far they can take him he’s doing a good job out there now um he’s taking Floyd Nola deep into account there’s still only one out with loaded bases Nola pitches one now it goes through the Zone loses his head in
The process I think Lincoln Foley is coming I think ta just but retired possibly look very similar oh yeah true he’s come through I was going to say I thought I’m sure he just jogged off yeah see I told too told too much Gary you lost my story I was paying attention
There you I was just rambling for too long yeah I thought he would had taken him into a very deep count and been out there for a while two down it is with uh Lincoln Foley out there these young Dodgers hits good you know come out Made made Floyd
Throw a lot of pitches you know they’re not um how out there overwhelmed or just swing it whatever comes down they’ve been pretty patient um you know obviously Lincoln trying to get back on top get on Bas and get back to the top of their order they could you know a gap
Shot here does a little bit damage too so yeah absolutely it’s been a really good inning for them so far even though they haven’t got any runs across the the worrying thing is if they do start connecting with the ball and start converting a few runs and put pressure
On Floyd noler to uh to come off the diamond is who’s going to replace him don’t look over there yeah they do have the luxury of having two or three other guys that can come in and do a pretty good job as well oh well you know half decent you
Know there we go nice work well done the young fellas for Dodgers yeah Floyd just struggling a little here um you know most of the had gone to pretty deep in the count here full counts um know if the wind’s an issue for him or if he’s
I’d say it’s a little bit of it um but yeah he’s just trying to pitch around them maybe a little bit too much Tana back to the top of the order obviously from the Dodgers point of you’re getting back to the top of the order if they can hit something in a gap
Here score to three more runs here it’s a much better spot by Floyd no for that for the start of that b Ramblers wouldn’t be used to standing out there in the tournament too this long in an Innings uh at the moment uh I’m more used to sitting down in The
Dugout watching the Batters go to work yeah they definitely used to Long Innings but not standing in the field no it’s a pleasure to watch the the young Dodgers give them a workout here we go this time we’re going to see a one he’s quick down the line there he
There we go and uh it’s the runner Trey Fury who came in for Wam mui who crosses home plate for the second run two to n to Dodgers and uh a great start from the young Dodgers team it’s a good bit of base running too the ball only went
Couple of meters away from Ryan early but obviously Trey got a good jump and got in quickly and um yeah really aggressive he got a good uh he got a good lead off um absolutely right and he jumped as soon as that ball was gone from the from the catcher glove
Yeah hadn’t really seen Trey play um he’s out of the Giants Club in the W so um H really seen him play too much until he came over to play for Dodgers this year but he’s been really impressive on the base pass this year he’s been stealing bases throughout the combo the
The other Diamond one game that I commented on with them involved yesterday he caught y so uh obviously comfortable as a catcher as well yeah catchers plays The Outfield um surprised a little bit CD he had been in the um lineup you know most of the
Times we play them all year he’s he’s out there in the Outfield there or catching um he’s hitting lead off for them at the start of the year so but definitely definitely a threat on the base pass yeah all right there we go the conditions continue to get even if
Anything a little bit more challenging out there and this time it’s Floyd noler who gets the job done finally for Ramblers who won’t be used to standing out on the diamond that long but that has cost him two runs that Innings and with the top of two complete we’ll head

Is getting right up there it’s nice and warm however which means uh that softball is being played here on diamond one at s in the field it’s Ramblers who Trail in this ball game here in the second Innings uh playing Dodgers from Hut Valley here we go Ramblers early on
Struggling with Dodgers Bradley been it up the bat for Ramblers Ramblers once they kick into gear with the bat uh tend to bat in bunches and score runs and twos threes fours and more yeah it was a great half inning by them um said Floyd struggled a little bit
Just um with a bit of control walked a couple of hitters yep um yeah but seemed to calm down they go back to the top of the order and struck out the lead off hter so there we go that one flies through the middle of the Zone Bradley Bennett would
Possibly want to have another look at that one just saying I’m obviously around having young you know like a few overseas pitchers in here at the moment um one of the pitchers who is missing obviously this weekend is pepo um Ben wats yeah um you know I know last time
Clubs was here a couple of times before he um you know he’s been great at um Fraser Park so he be he’d be missed by that peer new lineup this week um he rupted his T his um bicep at the NFC so oh that’s what happened yes I was
Talking to him NFC was pretty excited to get through the back end of the season you know and they got a pretty good shot where he’ll leave a massive hole for them but hopefully he’s recovering well at home Ben if you’re listening so hope to see you back out here next year yes
Uh sely missed in tournament um bit of a fan of Ben’s pitching he’s uh bit of a horse He he’ll pitch the whole tournament for his team um pitches with great control he sely miss papanui um who I did see when they played the Grand Final here just a
Couple of years ago against Ramblers um it was him that was doing the pitching for pepo it was one of the better um better weeks from from one of the P you know from New Zealand pitch over the last you know 5 10 years yeah
That week he put them on his back and carried them to that final they’re unlucky they think they lost on the hall wild pitch whatever we yeah it was it was a close game yeah but yeah rambler’s coming out the eventual winner yeah it’s um obviously sad not to see him here
This week so if you’re out there being listening all right as Dodgers to continue to go to work on the Ramblers batting same with b t b not here this week yeah torr’s here is he yes yeah played played a crucial part in the game
Earlier in the day for them is he really yeah thought he tore his our KES all I was going to say was is he carrying an injury cuz he played third base as well I saw him at the after se he the old man C I thought that he’ um yeah
Thought he’d done more damage obviously wrong well there we go um Ramblers off to a bit more of a meaningful start in this one Bradley vent it all the way around to a third base and REE EV at first basee Runners on the corners into bat now is number 50 Maddox
Rice yeah no he they had a load of B he came up and hit a triple uh in the game earlier in the day really yeah yeah maybe he’s not as old as I thought I was going to say ran it like a spring chicken safe at two I said he hadit a
Triple but I meant he cleared three bags of them so he turned the triple into double trip into a double yeah exactly yeah well that’s good to see I thought he was um I heard that he had done as arer as half for he was think but if
He’s here that’s even great news for that pepo lineup oh well with Marshall Kon um definitely a replacement for benen Watts that’s worthy of that team and uh look for them towards the business end of the tournament because they will probably still be there yeah
They’ve been um you know one of the top two or three teams in the country for good you know five six seven years now Runners now at two and three for Ramblers none down number 50 madx rice in the back and look out for them if they turn the corner and
Get back to the top of their order with one or none still out yeah this is where you get in trouble with the rers isn’t it they they come out you have a good inning against them put on some runs and then before you know they got runs on two and three
And none out yeah well it’s what happened with PK Ramblers came out of the block running in that one in the first Innings and scored three runs PK came straight back and scored three runs of their own um but after that it was all Ramblers uh to the tune of another
10 runs be really interesting to see how they go here um obviously got a great hitting lineup just wouldn’t ever seen M before so um you know how they adjust he’s um I’d like to see him throw a little more change up he’s he’s got a good
Change up keep them off balance a little bit we commented on about the lot of the pitches um and we’ve talked about Nick but he’s probably one of the pitchers I’ve seen on diamond one that used the change up as a real weapon and used it
Frequently oh yeah when like I said back in the day a long time ago now when I used to catch him he was um he was always tough when he had that change up going it’s a pretty tough call here TK literally got blown off the

I’m not sure if if it’s something you know it’s a pretty tough lineup to break into and I wonder if if his thinking was around a I can play everywhere I can kind kind of you know I’m a lot more valuable to the team than yeah than um
You know if I’m just a second base shorts that’s pretty tough to break into internationally I mean you know you’ve got Kon at uh panou pona who can play Anywhere bats as good as anyone in the country uh you’ve got quite a few around as well as obviously Floyd noler um in

Um you know it’s his Club it would be it will always be that that family’s Club so if you’re going to break into the lineup you know it’s it’s if you’re a middle infeld it’s pretty tough tough lineup to break into it’s not like any of the other middles are getting up

Numbers so the couple of us older guys down there getting a couple of swings in so yeah didn’t like I said wasn’t wasn’t doing myself any favor I was going to say you got to give yourself a bit more credit while the opposition were going look at this guy stack their team was
Actually quite good one of the games was against Giants with Justin criana so who I used to catch growing up I was goingon to say he’s no spring chicken yeah you struck me out though so we won’t talk too much about that so it didn’t make me

I wasn’t there I’m I’m shamed to say I could have gone down because both him and Daman played in that game it uh pretty much tripled the age of uh toach Park average age yeah you know you’re getting up there when two or three kids add up the
Same age as you yeah that’s right that’s exactly what’s happened uh 62 it is to Ramblers in this one now as we see them uh get a run across the plate by a bit more conventional means yeah just compiling their runs really there there’s not like um I mean

For him to get some innings in this afternoon yeah yeah obviously uh he’s rehabbing from injury um a recurring back injury um and it’s nice to see him out there um he’ll probably if he’s needed to go that far not last past about 50 or 60
Pitches um as we see him go to work here on the Dodgers batters um and probably um instructed not to go at 100% as well I would think but um yeah definitely coming back from injury oh nasty that was a nasty change up and just turned number 13 Logan Paul Willie
Into stone there he really didn’t have the experience to deal with that pitch did he no we see he thre two two Rises that he threw past him pretty firm and then he threw a knee buckling change up yep so obviously Ramblers have made this change they’ve also bought in um the
Elder of The Early Brothers Max like ch’s obviously personal catcher or whatever so Ryan’s come out Max has gone in as well just keeping the batteries together U Max ear comes into to catch with Daniel Chapman um and it’s my first time seeing him in the tournament I don’t know if
He’s pitched prior to this but certainly it’s good to see him out there doesn’t look like he’s missed the beat does he to be honest and there’s another nasty drop ball it gets down and dirty into the artificial turf here at Fraser Park yeah just interesting there when he
Um after he threw that his little WIS on his face like it didn’t come out like it was meant to or I don’t know if it was a little twinge or if it was was him just didn’t feel comfortable coming out or if it was the result of the pitch that he
Was wasn’t happy with he’s uh if you’ve seen him pitch a lot you can you kind of see him when he gets into that Groove um and certainly when he’s playing against local opposition in New Zealand and when he’s in that Groove for our batters anyway he’s proved to be n and
Unhitable um internationally he gets a bit more stick but uh that’s to be expected with the quality bad as he faces overseas um but coming back like this yeah yeah it’s definitely going to be a situation where maybe he doesn’t quite know how his body’s going to respond as

They’re one of the teams that are now a threat to anybody out there as we see Oscar Clark get Ramblers going by rifling one out to right field he also pitched for the h Valley development team at the in at the 19s here Fraser Park so I think might have walked away
With yeah him along with Nick ne um so he pitched for the development team pitching honors at that tournament didn’t they Nick obviously pitched for the b a side and he in met it for the development team now I had the three days at the boys tournament enjoyed to the mentally here
At Fraser Park under 19th before having to hop on a plane and go do the Grand Final for the girls up at Starling Park in uh in Oakland oh yeah yeah so it was a a busy weekend of uh of broadcasting in two different tournaments in in four
Days I seen you up there at the uh 19 girls as well yeah You’ up your way you your wage you’re taking from Chopper you don’t startop paying you bit no no that all got soaked up in airs and and takeaways came back going her money yeah exactly
Exactly air fairs takeaways and fuel for his daughter’s car which he lent to us but it had no Petrol in thanks Chopper sounds like a smart move for M yeah yeah did well there’s a hard hit to third base and young Willie at third base has got a

Yeah obviously um Australian born and and um and Bre but played a long time in Christ Church M his M his lovely wife down there they got three boys so um those boys are doing really well play a lot of baseball them um the eldest boy niik is part of the Philadelphia Philly
System oh nice so um sign with him a couple of years ago so yeah nice hit down the Third Base Line this time uh it’s Clark who comes screaming into third base and just about leaves one of his ankles behind as he goes across the plate um that’s always a dangerous thing
When you come in and slide like that he’s pretty quick osar yeah just on the replay there you’ll see the slide as he comes into three there yeah he definitely had to make an adjustment to get his leg over the base there and on the request we’ve got Nathan look coming
Up for a hit talking about old people just talked about Todd same age as us um you know obviously teammates one of the big Legends one of the just a little bit two or 300 games um but they definitely uh one of the Legends or that that we’re
Blessed with in this country Nathan nooku nooku only be too many people bought in the 7 he still playing in this tournament he’ be one of them but yeah it’s always good to watch Nate still swings a bit hard yes he does um and just has the highest standard at
