I’m currently an 8 handicap and I achieve this by following 3 simple rules. If you want to become a single digit handicap and lower your scores than you need to watch this video. I played the Pinehurst golf course in Thailand, which was a beautiful 18 hole course.

3 Rules I Follow to Achieve a Single Digit Handicap (Not Hard at All)
If singled digigit handicap golf is your goal then you need to work on three elements of your golf game first things first is contact I know that sounds obvious but hear me out if you have a big slicer hook you’re actually accomplishing one of the hardest things in golf and that is
Consistency got to love how hype the caddies in Thailand get after a good shot nice bu thank you you can still score with these wild shot shapes in fact my handicap was the lowest when I was battling a huge hook why it was consistent and I learned how to miss
With it I’m not saying to not try and fix your shot shape on the Range but when you get on the course just prioritize strikes this will allow you to consistently get closer to the greens which is Will alur’s number one goal and priority for amateur golfers get on the
Green as fast as you can as I did here I knew a little bit more of a firmer swing with the 60° would have been the club to get it close however I felt more confident confident that I was going to make a better strike with a smoother
Swing 54° that would get me on the green easy man I’m getting lucky lucky got all the boys fired up in the group today no this is one of those moments where I genuinely want to snap my club over my knee but to be a single-digit
Handicap this is where you got wipe the Slate clean focus on the next shot and as you can see I hit a really good shot this actually land right by the hole but just released to the back of the green go look at par niceo thank you this also leads me at
Point number two everyone thinks a single digigit handicap golf is the semi-perfect version of the game that they can’t achieve but you’re wrong it’s not pretty and it’s not hard okay so I got 215 but obviously blocked over by the street so just try to advance 100 yards with a six
Iron probably could hit a little bit further if you can work on tip number one then you can piece together number two which which is chipping again you don’t even need to be a great chipper to be a low digigit handicap golfer if you’re short side then take your
Medicine make sure you strike it well and get on the green a two-up bogy doesn’t kill your scorecard that was so bad getting cute with a ship duffing it and leaving yourself in an even harder position is what kills your scores I want you guys to remember this putt when I talk about
Tip number three there’s lots of great chipping videos out there find one stick to it and practice your striking no go W get up there as for the third piece of the pie I hope you can guess it putting now you can see I’ve made so many putts
Thus far in the round funny thing is I was probably only trying to make a few of them I hit that eight iron so bad but that’s just what happens when you’re waiting for an hour in Thailand for the tea box to clear so 54 degre let’s get
It up and in the mindset you need to have to become a better putter is to try and hit the best putt you can that has good speed and a decent line and hoping for a stressfree two putt but when it’s your day you’ll find that the hole gets
In the way more often and they start to drop even after my birdie putt on the par five I was just trying to get my par putt close to the hole and I was completely fine accepting bogey okay I got about like 370 left in just got to
Try to hit like a low Hook six iron and probably have a long iron in but I had decent pace and a good line and the hole just happened to be in the right place at the right time and the putt dropped for par might be laying up again just
Being smart and laying up with an eight iron again so you should really only be trying to make the straighter putts around 6 feet and in try get up and over par all right 57 yards 54 this will take a lot of pressure off of you and allow for better putting
Strokes again this is not a putt I’m trying to make I just want good speed and a decent line and when it’s your day it’s your day baby now this course wasn’t overly long but it was extremely tight and nothing but water on both left and right
Sides okay 106 but I’m in the wind and I’m in a divot perfectly so 50° try to get one on the green the divot I’m grabbing extra club and definitely just focusing on strike I don’t care if this ball goes long because there’s water short long but I’ll take it up dip
It I know I just said you should only be trying to make putts inside 6 fet but I really really was trying to make this putt because I’ve never shot 200 under power on nine holes before okay so that was a one underpar front n for me that’s the first time
I’ve ever shot underpar on on a different Golf Course other than my home course back home in Canada so let’s see if we can keep this going um nerves are running High though so we got part five to start off the back here and let’s just get it in
Play this is a great example of playing for a Miss I’m pretty confident this ball is getting to go left so I got 253 y but I’m just going three iron just try to get short of the green and get up and down for birdie but I still aim up the
Right middle of the Fairway because there’s water right that was perfect just sure the green chipping 54° this is a crazy green so I want to get this close I cannot believe this ball did not come back down that slope and again this putt I knew it was short
As soon as I hit it hence the early walk just a little fuel shot that three arm went a country mile so probably like 60 yards little 54° Skip One back there it’s now that the nerves are definitely settling in and I’m realizing that I have a great opportunity to not only
Break 80 but to potentially shoot one of my lowest scores ever that’s a bad bad bogie as I still have a Miss with a snap hook I can’t risk aiming up the right side considering it’s all water and trees that’s okay all right 153 I got
Pitching wedg kind of downwind I got a decent look here Ball’s quite a bit above my feet though so this is going to sling in there I must have been thirsty cuz I sent this ball straight to the Cafeteria off of this lie I definitely swung a little bit harder because I knew leaving it short and in that bunker potentially would be way worse so swing a little bit harder get get good contact even if it’s backside of the green we can deal with that now that t-shot honestly ended up
Exactly where I was hoping it would this pin is on a crazy Mount so honestly I just got to accept bogey here get it close T putt move on but now my problem is I’m trying to chase the score I don’t worry about the only objective which is getting this ball onto that
Correct tier that was so bad I’m already thinking about making par and now I’m walking away with a double bogey wasn’t the best strike but it’ll work I promise you the water was actually not in my head at all and this just goes to show exactly why striking the ball
Better is so much more important than your shot shape if I would have just had a good strike I could have a chance at chipping up and down for pars still okay well I’m just chipping out back into the Fairway it’s too bad cuz I got
Inside 200 yards here so just chipping a four iron and got to make birdie somehow sometimes you just got to laugh man you can’t take yourself way too seriously I mean hitting the tree effing sucks but I can’t believe I hit that the one tree well things have gone
From bad to worse in the ti burer Camp so I got 192 don’t have a look at the green so I’m going to try to slice a four iron get it short of the green get it up and down for par and keep this round respectable um this went from like
Trying to shoot under par to just trying to break ad80 again so laugh it off and just focus on the next shot this is how the game becomes fun laughing about these moments makes the game so much better for yourself and for your playing partners go go it worked
Out well I don’t know who was playing on the front nine who shot one under par but this guy is now seven overpar on the back nine so we got to figure things out here bring the single under under 80 so uh got a par 4 377 yard s when there’s
Water right just aim at the people on the tea box on the left I Guess that t-shot unfortunately did find the water so I’m taking a drop and shooting three here thank you oh and this t- ball hit cart path and boun straight into the water as well all right in the drop zone cool tea box though I appreciate you guys sticking

Out it’s so crazy for like the last year and a half that I’ve been playing it doesn’t seem to matter how much I improve my game or whatever or even how well I start around or how bad I start around I always just seem to shoot like
Low to mid 80s um and I think that’s just exactly what happens when you you start chasing a score like after the 10th hole I was just chasing birdies I wasn’t thinking about the shot that I was actually on I was thinking about the score not my shot so let that be a
Lesson no go oh
