The title of this video isn’t serious however it is fair to say that Reading FC fans have reached out to their famous son, Ricky Gervais, praying he can be the one to save the club!
However, more seriously (yes the title is clickbait and intended as such) the Royals are in a massive crisis and something needs to happen at the Madejski Stadium as one of the best run clubs under Sir John Madejski faces a shortfall during this month.
However football is pulling together and trying to help with fans up and down the country doing what Dai Yongge and his horrid little assistant Pang should be. After all, isn’t Dai meant to be a billionnaire?

Really it’s not really worth anything apart from a football club and they’ve done a very very good job of it it’s a new complex who would buy it I am sorry but who would buy that it smacks of desperation it smacks of absolute desperation and in all honesty you know
Nobody’s going to come in for it because nobody can build anything on it it’s too expensive to run you know it is something that has to come combined with the football club very much like the football stadium does but of course dong has also asset stripped that as well

When they put them on minus 30 points I I’m sorry but it’s a disgrace and really what the efl should be doing and I’ve mentioned it before is having a golden share or an independent regulator should be having a gold share where they can take you know the clubs

And it sounds as if that might be what that party is waiting for you know I can’t speculate but that is you know what it sounds like now if that is you’ve got to ask the question his administration which would probably relegate readin unless unless unless the efl you know determin that
You know it would be unfair to deduct any more points which would be changing the rules but at the same time there has to be questions of how they’ve even handled this let’s be honest this man got rejected by whole city to take over them and then the efl
You know only a matter of months later approved them so Rick Parry to be honest should resign over this Rick Parry should resign he’s an absolute embarrassment to football the efl are an embarrassment to football they don’t care about fans they just care about their own coffers
