Yards I think it’s cor crer design going to be a test but I think we got it so let’s see how we go well already we’ve been welcomed incredibly well well here at Cavo and including you actually get a cookie on the first tea I mean if that

Is not I mean I’m already sold I’m here this is the best golf course I’ve ever played um this is under development at the moment you might hear a little bit of Maintenance noise the building properties lodges all sorts is going on for the official opening this year in

September um I can’t wait already ready to come back next year when it’s fully finished cuz it’s going to be outrageous golf course you played here last week already yeah play on actually on track of shooting the course record but you couldn’t play the 18th cuz you have to

Shoot off for a flight yeah my coach was flying out so he uh yeah I had to get back to Orlando and drop him off so at least I got a little look at the place um I was texting Rick while I was out

Middle one or mine yeah oh no mine’s just in the sand somewhere okay let start with a good drive I’m going to go down that right side Fairway yep little F been practicing we’re in the couldn’t draw it up better myself man we’re in the Fairway it wasn’t my finest strike but

We’re good this place honestly it’s uh we arrived this morning I’ve been blown away so far it’s a real it’s going to be an incredible resort with multiple golf courses and uh yeah I’m getting I’m I’m excited to actually see the entire golf course I can’t wait to show you guys it

Also right come on let’s go rip it up what a day for it too like a little cold little windy how good are the cookies yeah pretty solid yeah I was thinking that um pretty solid you shooting a Coss records so Ryan yeah not a great start uh

We have hit a big flat pull off the first that would be in a lot of trouble most places but if I get any sort of lie it might be all right but yeah I don’t know I feel good it’s a sort of golf that um suits me kind of bouncy firm

Hopefully courses so so Ryan if you again if you’ve not seen him on the channel before tour professional doing his best to get back on the PJ tour we just done a great podcast with him actually um which I’m not sure the order of these videos but it’ll the podcast

Will definitely be out check it out on my podcast channel uh talking about kind of the challenges of professional golf of trying to be a tour pro definitely worth checking out but he’s an incredible golf he really is not his best Drive granted but I think that’ll be the worst one he

Disappeared it looks pretty solid just a little bit too far left I’m kind of right in between numbers I’ve got 100 50 yard so like my pitching wedge goes like 46 I would say and my 9’s about 160 so I’m just going to have to take a

Little bit off a nine left to right wind right to left slope so uh should just be pretty standard all up need to hit a good one to try and save par oh be good be good yeah nice effort they good just be sure pin ey right yeah all right give us a

Chance okay so we found the green but the greens here are massive I mean this is a double green anyway some golfers down there playing I wouldn’t even like to guess how long this green is anyway we found it Ryan was just saying there that all very limited amount of people have

Played here so far nobody’s ever gone around here and not three puted apparently let’s roll it close start with an nice two put P they’re just not fast yet I did think that was going to be a little bit F so did I to be honest when I actually first hit it I

Be okay second shot it’s actually a par five this second hole um 220 yards actually we just looked at the score it’s past 73 um 7,600 yard past 73 this I’ve got 220 yards away I’m just in this kind of wasteland bunker area I’m going

To try and rifle a 4 iron get it up there as far as I can good strike just hold your head Rick thanks on video in on video it went straight that’s how you do it right no it’s all right just up the left you having a good day yeah how

Thought it was a par four so I’m going to have to start this way right of the trees hit a big hook down there just to get it back onto the green so tricky shot but you might have been three under the other day what’s that you might have

Left I think it’s going to be the trend of the day finding a lot of sand I’ve got to throw it up near the flag because after the flag it does roll back down just nothing short anything short looks like it’s uh gonna come back to my feet ah

Sit wasn’t far off being pretty good I just caught it a smidgin clean ah just threw it over the bit that I wanted to land it on I needed to hit the bowl and I missed the ball you landed right here what is it three pieces shorter in

Your tight it’ll be interesting today though like the the other day when I played there’s like I think I hit it short left there on the green the other day and my putt I had to hit it up this slope to then work it back to the

Pin and I wonder if there’ll be a fair bit like can we stop this uh I don’t know if we can stop it I’m not sure how coming down this slope it can finish anywhere close to the flag I feel like the minimum roll out

He’s going to be cut of this far I feel like you’re right but I also don’t think there’s enough slope on the other side to try and get it to come back unless you went up there luckily the greens aren’t outrageously fast no I think if

They were fast I’d be putting it up there yeah I agree Ryan’s putting for Eagle after finding the Green in two let’s see if we can get get if he gets on the path early and this could be a great chance to do so with full steam ahead at this course record

Wonderful it’s absolutely wonderful yeah I thought that was that you can’t that’s the minimum like I obviously could have hit it with a tiny bit less speed but then you risk leaving it up top and then it’s I honestly don’t think you could have Ryan it’s like

Doesn’t really matter where you drive it here your work starts when you get on the pting green keep it in for you don’t know what yeah just to the about I don’t know what I learned from yours you can absolutely go up there if you’ve got the

Balls to do it or you just take a five-footer or you’re better than me is it going to come back enough off that side if you got it right it would but if you got it wrong it wouldn’t I think you’re better off just going at it give

It a chance to hit the pin okay I’m going to try and try and get closer than yours is my goal that’s a good part that’s way better than mine great speed mate that was that was phenomenal that you risk leaving it up top in order to get

That close not going to lie to you Ryan I absolutely had Terrors going through my body as soon as I hit that putt you left I’ve left that short yeah I’m loock it in knock it in what on man good P yeah take a two pot from up

There right come on pal under power this is it let’s kickart this record breaking attempt yes oh snuck it in there well done mate thank you mate couple good TS there really good yeah bird mine for P I think someone’s taking our golf carts around there third hole this is the PA three

Possibly the longest PA three I’ve ever played in my life it’s 260 yards and it’s flat there’s no elevation it’s not like it’s 260 plane downhill it’s 200 60 yards flat with an enormous green this this actual hole there’s actually another T possibly back there and if you

Went pin back left it’d be like 320 yards I think it’d be a awesome short Par Four from back there to a back pin but this feels a bit too long for three but the good thing like I’m not a big fan of long PA 3s like I was telling

Rick before I think they’re a bit lazy like the architecture of them they’re just hard for the sake of being hard but this one actually like it gives you a big run up on the right where everything will feed back into the green so I’ve only got four on because I’m only going

To try and land this about 235 and get the rest of it to kind of Chase up the green I’m not going to land anywhere near it so see what you do cuz I might be able to squeeze a three in there yeah I think hit well with the right shape

You can but if it’s floaty at all it’ll just get caught up on the right yeah you B that really work nice like so many ridges I don’t even know that balls ended up but I’m going to hit three yeah I feel like three would have

Got to worry about hitting at OB left that’s a good thought you know one those really positive thoughts that you want far three is worried about OB well if I hit my thr I feel like I can drill one on that bank on the right a little chasy

Drawer and the bank you’ve got all the way from like you see ride of that bunker on the hill yeah see the still grass that’s all bank right so like anything up the right yeah like I’ve ended that up left of where I was trying to end it up a little trappy draw

Withan oh too far right down and Around on grass you something something tricky but something it’s not going to feed down from there that was me worrying about hitting OB oh that’s a way off the mark damn okay this wasn’t ideal real Miss misdirection there I was trying to hit up the right granted but nowhere near

This far right this is um this is testing got to throw it miles to the right and just pray and hope it doesn’t get too fast on me I’m actually going to just play a little bit less Loft I want to kind of keep this low onto the ground

Really I’m going to run it down the right hand side not there I mean no I [ __ ] oh no you’re trying to make four from there so yeah 5 Ys fur the left and this where it finished any sort of right to left shape on your three and then it comes

All the way down we’ve now got this repar and this still isn’t straightforward it’s going to massively sweep off that Bank speed is key good roll mate wow what a pot what a pot thanks mate I tell you what that that had a little last minute

Dive there yeah I know it had a look I thought I was just saying good put as then I thought it was close and it actually had a chance there for okay got to take a four there two bad shots but then a good put I’ll leave it in leave it in leave

It in I got too much going on here I don’t know if the camera does it justice how much is going on with this putt but I’ve got like a 35 footer up one widge that takes it left to right up another that takes it right to left and then

Down the back of that one which takes it left to right so as far as 35o has come so you saying chance what’s that so you’re saying there’s a chance yeah yeah yeah real easy read and just knock it in there go do it do

It I thought I made that I thought I made that for sure I don’t know how that missed you are kidding me that was nearly one of the best makes of my life you are kidding me I thought that was absolutely nailed Oh I thought for sure

I didn’t I talked it up and everything and then I done got and hold it oh well very good take 260 par yeah we still on the par well done mate that was class that’s one to get through there that yeah that that hole for me needs to be

60 yard shorter 70 yard it can be and I think that top right tea box I think is almost a better tea box too yeah but anyway we’re in good shot shape I’m one over your one under we also played that straight down wind imagine playing that into the wind

I know and the pin at the back yeah four power five down Breeze 51 yards split Fairway which side are you going Ryan good question I’m I’m going to decide after I’ve hit it I think I went up the right the other day and it

Was good so probably for me just aim up the middle um and hit the fade off the middle part I think it’s a little shorter but maybe not quite as good of an angle um but yeah you said everything else the one club that hasn’t been good

For the first couple get that sorted and we’ll be uh looking real good start up the middle and stay up the middle car oh that’s really good now that get over it all y well that’s perfect just edit all that and just say I’m going to go

Down the left side of the Fairway I think you got the start I’m going to start it down the middle and then cut um I’m going to go down that right side we like those white steaks up the left side or sure I thought you on my

Thought Bu you’re on my team I am I have the right side better a little shorter I meant the left we got our Left To Rights mixed up today perfect I’m happy with that yeah take that I’m happy with that left side I was always aiming for left side

Um well not quite as good as what we thought I guess I’ve hit this and kind of rolled backwards so Rick might have out driven me here I don’t know um I’ve got 186 yards out of the sand as you can see it’s kind of all carry um downwind I

Got eight iron and just give it a rip and that’s about it yeah good contact let’s see oh that’s phenomenal that is phenomenal what Rick said that was pretty good I like that I’ve got 200 to the pin it’s playing a lot shorter than that

I had 87 from where I was so you can obviously see like we hit about the same distance off that te but further right you go so much shorter when you’re so much longer down the middle of the Fairway you know what I mean I mean I

Probably I don’t know if this is a six or a 99 um from experience of playing here Ryan is the Miss left or is it definitely left I mean you got all that green to the left if you start messing around with like sh or anything like

That you got all those nasty bunkers so go the flag and if it draws it’s fine yeah and if it’s a tiny long too like you just put it down from back there oh carry ball carrying get Lu yeah oh it nearly did too now where’s this going to end

Up not there part five short game like yours didn’t strike it at all damn okay just come up short just didn’t catch that sick side annoyingly if i’ have caught it well it would have easily got on the Green just a little chip from this Valley at

The bottom got to land it just short run it up pretty well played you got a bad bounce early just wasn’t quite as high as I wanted to yeah I mean but it really hit this down slope and kicked it forward but you got to look at it yeah

Just just I wanted to go a little bit more height than that really yeah it kind of just just shot it forward like I said if you was scared on top probably would have it would have really come around damn didn’t quite catch it Ryan with another look at Eagle

A really good look at Eagle this time this would be to get to three under through four holes oh I haven’t hit over oh it was going to miss anyway so makes me feel a bit better but well pace might have kept it online yeah maybe actually that’s all

Right nice birdie couple under two under through four is not too shabby I’d really like this one good drive I think you just have to keep the pace up a bit just slightly unfortunate with the second not a bad little chip let’s knock it in for four get back to level

P I think that was a pull anyway but surprised I didn’t get there yeah it kind of bounced around a little bit I think that’s one of the things you probably already mentioned it but with the course being so new and not quite open yet don’t give these greens too much or

Give them a bit of slack I should say because we’re a long way from being opened we’re very early here it’s good to just be able to have a look at it before anyone else gets to have a look at it really I mean it’s like yeah

Exactly you’re going to expect that time courses take a little bit of time to to bed in I mean considering it is so new considering we’re a good 6 months at least probably eight months from really opening it’s pretty good shape and I think the next time either you do this

Course on your Channel or I do it on mine like it’ll be a lot different be pristin right two on the par the man is steaming ahead I like it it’s really good like I say what under is the current course record by Lou us haen Ryan’s going to beat that

Today fifth power four heading that direction winds off the right big bunker down there about 290 to get two uh that’s right in the middle of the Fairway so if you stay short of that Ryan’s going to go short of it I’m going to hit dri and go slightly left of it

And it’s really only 100 yards in from there if not less in the Fairway would be good exactly I haven’t been in one yet well you have just not your own yeah hasn’t stopped me though yeah perfect I’ll be in one here though perfect not bad finally my own

Fairway any want to see it down no I saw where I saw where was headed but I think it’s towards those two slightly darker trunk trees see those it was a really crap strike so it might be short okay after that really really terrible t-shot I’ve actually found a

Secret Fairway um this is Miles off Target but the Fairway is so wide that I’m okay 135 yards left into the flag slightly windh helping I’m just going to get a nice pitching wedge I’m almost just going to go straight out the flag so I feel like the more I’m worried

About missing on a certain side the more it’s causing me to not hit it as well as I should so I’m just going to go straight to the flag for a few holes o very nice go in oh is in I thought it like dropped yeah

So did I when the last time you hold out on the channel you in last time he never done I don’t know You’ been gone for a few years I thought exactly La of averages I thought at some point you would one I know you didn’t

That I come on a picnic yeah literally all I’ve done this video is it’s because listen it’s 300 p.m. in the afternoon and I’ve literally not eaten anything yet today so this is kind of like breakfast on lunch is this five or six this is five five

Yeah all right I got 91 yards uh and Rick is in there close this is just under a full Lobby for me so yeah I mean know probably not going to try and do much other than go for the pin here come up short cuz I really liked it when I hit

It but it looks a little short part out of it I guess but right two looks at birdie here on number five I thought mine was so close and it really wasn’t Ryan’s just got this little up and over the ridge I’ve got a little slippery downhiller bit going on once again

Like um ridges man just yeah I got like left to right up the ridge right to left once on top of the ridge so kind of bit of a double breaker we did good with the quadruple breaker last time so you with it with enough speed okay down

The hill left to right knock it in mate for a nice little bird just get back to level par well done nice good three I was kind of thinking there to myself there’s me thinking I held out for two and I come off four come off with a four but we’re

In no we’re done good part thanks mate in for birdie especially didn’t have Great Hopes after the drive no I thought I thought I might have lost my t- Shot it’s a little intimidating putting three Footers on these right now but um we need those to drop today we need those to drop I just don’t want to give myself them I think it’s more hold on you got the tea 60 power five another one three par eyeses in six

Holes yeah this you said this the last five for a while I believe so I can’t really remember s’s 7 8 n are not par FS 10’s not 11’s not yeah so it be a bit yeah right Fairway is where we’re going for yeah honestly just rip it because

You’ll have to probably let it up anyway I’m just trying to get one strike hold your head we’ll find it drive has just been weird at the moment feel like when I lose a bit of confidence with it it can go either way when it’s on it’s on it’s not a good

Drive I also need to start hitting this club better so let’s start here Mr the trible yeah I that perfectly probably in the only place I shouldn’t hit it it’s good no it’s good is it yeah didn’t go in the bunker no oh okay yeah know I’ve got this kind of

Thing with drive at the moment I feel like I’ve been hitting it a lot better and I’ve been doing a bit of speed training and definitely trying to work on my swing but it’s like this this weird if I’m not if there’s a couple of

Drivers I don’t hit well L yeah just in the like yeah it’s an easy club and I understand what you’re saying like you spoke to I don’t know if we were recording before but we had a little discussion about you improving your swing and the face being a little bit

Stronger and stuff like that and I went through a similar kind of period where I was improving my face and it feels like the ball’s going to go left that you start making compensations to avoid that yeah um and you lose a bit of Confidence from that because you’re just correcting

Things so the more you can just let it go cuz obviously if you’re going to hit bad shots anyway you may as well hit a bad committed shot I know I just that’s why I feel like I’ve just got so if it’s if it’s a hot nice spot if it’s a

Hole that I don’t feel’s got a lot of trouble on I can just let go yeah and I I feel like it’s there it’s almost when of course maybe I’m not used used to obious I’ve never played here before but like I don’t know if I don’t to miss

Left I don’t miss right just miss left I feel it’s I’m at a real transitional period one sec it’s here fellas but that’s what it is a transitional period and that’s what I think you have to approach it as but I also think it’s a feeling right we’ve all felt it before

Is you’re coming in Impact you’re trying to correct things and it’s a horrible feeling cuz you’ve got no control of that you’re way better off like if you’re going to hit bad drives just let Let it Loose in my opinion like release it let it go left if it’s going to go

Left we went left anyway here exactly like I couldn’t miss any may may as well just release it out there and just smash it right the good thing is when you playing a golf course that not many people have played yet you feel like every new part of the golf course you’re
