Weeks since we’ve uh sat together and we’ve got a vacant middle chair this morning as well so it’s very personal unfortunately we had Chloe Stewart lined up but uh she got called away at work so we couldn’t get her on tonight unfortunately but uh we’ll make

Mate it’s a tough event to win uh the DAR Masters always good nice hot venue to player and yeah I love going back to darrett they got a good good club there and they always look after you but yeah the beard came off and all the regrowth
Is looking very gray so starting to worry five kids to do that mate so uh yeah I mean look at Robbie uh he gets about 12 Father’s Day presents every year from around Australia doesn’t know where they come from but oh no I’ve got 11 grandkids

Had a double header last weekend big weekend of balls big weekend coming up too especially for um the Pelicans so well number of teams so I everyone’s in a position where you know the I think everyone’s below fourth and below is all sort of hoping the top three keep
Winning unless of course you’re playing them but um yeah that fourth and fifth spot’s going to be closer least five or six clubs that are absolutely for a spot there all right our first match up we had broad Beach and burle so this was our live stream
Game uh so we had bro Beach 69 on two defeated Bley heads 50 on1 Ryan George Peter bester 24 just pipped Manny Peterson 23 Aaron te’s 15 went down to D MCN 19 and Aaron Sheriff 30 had a good win over his good mate Benny twist eight
So that’s a uh good win for the the Bulls who are yeah looking solid they’re um they had that one early loss and there was a few question marks and they’ve certainly put those to rest absolutely they’re going they’re going good at the moment
Broy Bulls U we had a nugget on the show last week obviously good to chat with nug uh Sammy Springer says evening Lads looking forward to a great show just came back from a few days in Brisbane um was swearing swearing like a something brick layer bu brick layer I know I think
Sammy dropped into Hammer actually and had a roll up there on the other day so um good to see you in brizy Sam very good all right next game Paradise Point versus henville uh where where did you get the um over oh yeah so we got top 70 defeated henville 70 defeated Paradise
Point 47 I’m learning something new every day here uh Blakey n 20 defeated Brett wizard wilky 18 Desi K 15 defeated by the lurge Nathan rice 22 and Darren CH Darren Christie 12 got beaten by Cody Brown 30 so good win there for Cur hasn’t had too
Many wins at the hay Big Win had a rough start to his time there but um yeah Jason custle coming in to play three for him so that’s always uh handy it’s always very nice yeah see and that was at um that was at Paradise too and um
What was that a paradise no it was a bro Beach a bro Beach yeah um but Lurch is um greens take a lot away a lot of that home ground Advantage cuz the greens are so good everyone everyone loves going there to play so you always know you get a nice surface
And yeah it would have been a uh would have been good game whether they dominated the whole way or it just sort of finished strong I’m not sure but L lury Boys on fire this season so far all win doesn’t he true yeah but he’s us
Be pretty handy he’s in extra good touch at the moment Al he’s plucking the balls out this he is when he’s running down the green Chase stalking it you know he’s close and he’s that’s true um Carla pizzy says hi Sean and John hi always

Capalbi and this is we were over at Tweed play on the other green this was had plenty of fire in this one plenty of noise uh twe got the better 61 on two rings defeating kalibar 52 on one Gary Kell who had a great game against Jacob Nelson just got Pips
1718 Cory wock 21 got the better of Dylan fiser 18 and uh Peter Taylor 23 defeating Kane Nelson 16 so uh that’s that’s a that’s a good win for Tweed there kapalar not far off the mark like I said there’s plenty of noise in that game there always is there always is um
Plenty coming from over there and um lots of good bows play by the sound of it so must have been a cracking game to watch yeah good game uh tweet still still my faves of the competition so well they’re going to yeah they’re going to do what cuz you know I think they’re
Going to struggle to make the top three from this point so we don’t have out win out of fourth and fifth for a while but if there’s someone that’s going to do it that Tweed roster certainly has the the players to do So say subway heck don’t know what that means but all right next game is aler 61 defeated MRA 47 big game to drop for muzy considering of uh thing on the season but El just have G on a bit of a pretty good run at the moment we’ll get into that but yeah
Cohen Lin 18 defeated Shawn Baker 15 uh pitty 20 defeated Lee oh sorry defeated by Leroy Lee strainer 23 and nio gole 23 defeated tongy nine um so big win there to Niko he’s absolutely burn at the moment so they L like they all played well um yeah they
Were the we’re on opposite ends of the draw so they you know they were couple of rinks away so I didn’t see everything but certainly plenty of noise coming from there plenty of good bows played and uh yeah things just didn’t quite go away on any of our rinks really we
Little bit stiff on a few occasions but that’s just how it goes I know he’s a great singles player but it is odd to see all Benny Walsh playing at lead that mate so uh well they say good singles players make good leads they do they br Brett was a wilky
You know he’s also skipping for hille at the moment but you know just talk about his you know his prime his serious B when he yeah I’m not talking I can’t say much so it’s all well done elj great great game by the All Star there not well
Done they’re too good they play well and um yeah like said they had a good weekend that green was beautiful at Tweed too so credit to them it was certainly um a pleasure to play on next one mate right next up we had oh yeah here we go Hamilton 41 is that a
Zero yeah on zero rinks down at Pine Rivers our current competition leader 79 on three uh de MC win 12 going down to Aaron Houston 22 Jason Mo 17 going down to Ryan Beret Big Win 35 and Nathan wise 22 down to Chris rosanne’s 22 so pretty comfortable in all three rinks that
Would have been a rough old uh rough old morning mate that at Hamilton either did you no we um we actually moved our gam to chide for the weekend and I got a shout out to uh the chide balls Club cuz uh both their greens were um really lovely to
Play on they um had Raffles gone the whole day had a uh a can bar outside all day for us and uh they really put on a really good show for the Premier League to come and um to host the Premier League out there it was a really good
Crowd all day uh all four clubs enjoyed it the food was prepared ready to go by the time we got off the greens after both games and um they they were running specials all day that just it was just a really nice atmosphere it was a really
Great great time and the club really um hosted the event really really well so thanks Big thanks to Club chide they were fantastic all weekend so well done to them I wonder if they’re going to go we have another crack again eventually like they were yeah only a couple years
Ago they were part of the the playoffs they definitely got the facility to do so and um the the manager out there Mel she was um just fantastic all weekend so we can’t can’t complain about the greens they fantastic and they looked after us so much so full credit to Club champ
Side and also to pwn keep going on their merry ways at the top of the ladder cruising cruising it don’t look like losing at the moment so I don’t know how the end of the season looks um but there’s you know there’s teams up there
Up there behind so it’s going to be an interesting weekend this week that’s what I like about the double headers like so much changes from week to week you know sometimes we in the past we’ve got on this show we’ve done a done a show and it’s been you know one game and
Lot this is like everything’s happening everyone’s beaten everyone it’s yep good nearly everyone’s beaten everyone nearly I didn’t want to point that out but now he did and the other game uh obviously held at club trsa was the inre Eagles up against Drayton and inre 61 defeated
Drayton 50 Ali forai welcome to the Premier League uh 20 defeated uh boo 12 uh diggers Ryan Digby 17 defeated by jakeen 20 and Duna Brandon Eagan 24 defeated uh the nicest men in balls Kent to Treacher 18 so 248 to Brendan Ean so big win there for the Eagles and uh
They’re they’re going pretty good at the moment well there one of them teams that in the mix especially the way they were going you only a few weeks ago that things weren’t working for him and they were yeah struggling to get rinks up little get the big board over the line
But but they’ve they’ve strung a few together now and they they’re starting to combine a bit better so you know it was we got to remember it was a bit of a throw together team you know where inro was yeah um sort of you know September
Last year to start a premier league it was all pretty rushed and yeah we didn’t know what was happening did we so man the side looked good from from round one it just didn’t quite Happ happen for him but um obviously with Alli coming in is
A big help for him and um and Harley yeah Harley well Harley’s he’s a great player in his own Merit but things just hadn’t been working for him in that that particular ring but you know theyve um they’ve got plenty of great players they got the the roster to do some
Damage yeah that’ be a team to watch in the last few rounds could could be interesting Interesting all right our Reserve grade results for that uh that round so we had Tweed heads 90 on all four rings to Fe kalibar 67 aljer 74 going down to Musgrave Hill 83 that was a big win for our Pelicans after hour just put 100 on broady the week
Fourth and speaking of broady 79 they went down again ble heads 85 Paradise Point 72 just going down to helenville 74 Hamilton 72 going down to the Pirates 85 and inaura Eagles had another good solid win 92 over drton 7 three so some good games there and um plenty of good
Results and you can find all the all the results on your bows link and what notless uh the system certainly seems to be working pretty well so far but yeah runs getting their stuff in most of the time and well lad is the only thing L is
It’s not conducive to our point system so you do have to transfer the results and that’s okay prod Rob’s got it all sorted so he’s all over it and uh we’ll just quickly move on to our double head around of course course and round eight results we’ll start off with bro Beach
Up against Paradise points and bro breach 52 defeated Paradise Point 46 so pretty close game this uh Ryan George Peter bester 18 defeated Blakey 9 15 uh Aaron Richardson te’s 11 was beaten well by Desi K 25 and Omar Aaron Sheriff 23 a comfortable win over Darren
Christie six six shots in the 21 in game is um is quite low but um we’ve all been there though snuck home yeah we have snuck home there the balls against Paradise so uh you know it’s not often you see to Big rink wins like that
Like to to lose a rink by 14 and still get up you know he’d call six quite comfortable so I would definitely not call six quite comfortable no no that would that game would have been close all the way down I reckon like it was watching the live
Stream cuz that was another live stream game but um six in the end is still somewhat comfortable like if you’re defending five or six in the last 10 you’re feeling okay if you saw if all throw in still going just takes one ring all righty our next match up who do
We have we had Bly heads and the hel would have been another good game so Bly heads 61 on two rinks defeated 56 on durur ring oh dur ring there you go two and a half Rings sorry to half foring so Matty Peterson 22 defeated Brett Wilkey 20 Dar M Winnie
18 had the draw with lury boy 18 and Benny twist 21 getting up over his good mate Cur Brown 18 so another good another good game here over a broad so it was a strong day over there but um yeah five shots just getting over the top so yeah strengthens them they’re looking
Good for the finals too Bly and they’re certainly up in the mix and they’re playing well perform and well and getting the WIS don’t know how the end of their season look like I said this massive weekend coming up completely absolutely uh Reon those Canadian Club

Nice greens and going well the all stars yeah going well big weekend for them coming you know they would talk of being in the relegation you know struggling to win a game and they lost so many plays off off the back and they just found their form found their group found their

Of on yeah K on a bit Leroy had a good win as well so well done to the peckins and um capela two losses for the for the round so rough weekend for them yeah they had a good weekend this weekend they could have it would have been interesting looking Ladder two rounds to go we’ll see all right um Hamilton 56 defeated by nogra 74 uh Dean 20 Dean mcin 20 defeated by Alli fora of 23 Jason Mo 18 defeated by Ryan Digby 27 and Nathan wse 18 defeated by Brandon Ean 24 so another good win
There for the Eagles um so they’re kickstarting yeah they’re going good so yeah them and elj are sort of making a move late in the season so big weekend for the Eagles coming up and uh big weekend for the power too coming up so um interesting times interesting times
Six rings yeah Six Ring CL always hurt no good no good been there though so who do you who do you guys play oh we’ll get into that later won’t we see what your weekend shaving up like this weekend our next match up we had Pine Rivers who are flying high 71 on
Three rinks defeated Dron 50 so that’s six that’s six win rink wins for Pine for the weekend too so a good weekend Aaron Houston 25 defeated B prau 20 Ryan Bernett 19 must had a good game with Jakey Ren 14 and Chris rosan 27 defeated kenter Treach the nicest BL of La balls
16 so just keep going on their merry way the old Pirates going good going good uh big solid weekend yeah Six Ring Queens for the Pirates that’s a huge successful weekend and uh they deserve to be at top of the ladder at the moment three qus

Defeated M grave Hills 71 uh and Broad Beach 69 defeated by Paradise Point 92 they’re really struggling the balls in the Reser they’re usually one of the sit the reserve grade last year did The Impossible I think they came from that spot to Wi but um B head 78 uh defeated
Henville 75 so good win there for the um water dragons Hamilton 83 defeated inaugura 62 so good win there for the power in the still in the hunt the reserve grade for the power and uh considering how strong the inaugura reserves guards good win there for the
Power so and pine 82 defeated Dron 69 so really good weekends for the Pirates in both grades just on that I don’t pointed out but the Bly heads in helensville game helv won three rings yeah right so 78 75 B got up on must have been on one it’d be
Interesting to see the rink wins there let see um good there’s I think we got this no we don’t have them this week but anyone can go and look on bows maybe comment who who had the big rink win there cuz one rink get to carry the big

Aaron Sheriff has hit the top uh six wins one loss he’s just ahead of Nathan rice on margins there so um with one less game too it’s kind of where with one expect Chris Chris roosan and Ryan Bernett up there as well with six wins so they’re just behind on
Margins and um D MCW in fifth spot so top 10 is uh uh Shawn Baker dropped down to six he was looking good looking the good at the start of the Season give myself a w at some point but the only good thing is I lost to H but I’m just

So Muzzy with their ring Queens they are still definitely in the hunt that’s what’s helping us at the moment so you like to think if you do get a a w up it’s more than likely going to be on two rinks yep with my rink just going down but um
Standard but uh yeah it’s uh like it’s good to see I think people like to see that obviously Pawn Rivers bro Beach um and Burley Are all uh doing exceptionally well and sort of clear of the field a little bit but as soon as you get from fourth to 10th it’s one
Good week in the way like a Paradise Point they can jump to nine points and all right they might still the game to go yeah they still puts themselves in with the sniff y absolutely if they can win plenty of ranks but we got to play them on Saturday so we can probably
Eliminate that and the reserve grade ladder looks like this tweet heads sitting on top of the ladder Pine Rivers second henville third Bley fourth and anur in fifth spot there but uh Drayton capalaba and Hamilton are all on eight points one game behind uh anogra and Bley and henville
So uh it’s going to be big weekend for those clubs to try and make a move up the ladder so big one and bro down there on one point so one draw for br odd to see yeah Min look at the margin minor 162 wow it’s not the broad be you used
To but um that’s the way things go sometimes just the quality of the competition yeah sort of third third down and nth there is all pretty open so plenty of big games and Reserve grade this weekend as well it’s going massive actually so let’s just get

Really fun I’m I’ve been having a great time I got about nine weeks to go before I get sworn in so hopefully everything goes well and um yeah it’s been really really good so it’s been hard work and I’ve enjoyed I got a great crew great Squad and um uh everyone in there’s
Genuinely wanted to help people so it’s it’s a really good place to be yeah and what’s it like taking a a step back from your roolling clubs like obviously you’ve been verying Club yeah I have it’s been different I must admit um I’ve enjoyed it yeah it’s been really
Really good I’ve s come to a you know I’ve been sort of doing those sort of things for about 10 or 12 years and uh uh just to sort of step back and just obviously still obviously look after the Premier League and obviously the show and stuff like that but outside of that
Just with clubs it’s kind of been nice just to sort of sit up and play balls and just enjoy myself and just yeah don’t have to worry about too much Jason you know Mor’s you know me and my really good mates and a pleasure to sort of turn up and catch up
With him every week and just enjoy the game and for what it is and yeah it’s been really fun I must admit and have you got many events coming up for yourself or is uh is your training and all that get in the way it’s kind of
Hard to sort of tell at the moment till I sort of finish what I’m doing I sort of finish around miday and then um I’ll probably definitely look to get out to the Muzzy singles um I try and get in that every year uh the UBC is on in
December so I’ll probably get into that with Big D and the Aussie cool R oh yes Big D shout out big D yeah and uh but yeah other than that um yeah there’s events that are coming up that I can sort of get uh time into then um
Obviously QPS have a bows Squad made so there you go my next question is how will the police you how is that going to affect your bows yeah uh hopefully like cuz you play for like you get into the QPS at of squad you might be able to uh
Organize some time off to sort of play balls and get into you never know you never know but uh yeah um and what’s uh yeah the tough question what’s going on the H what’s happening over there at the moment what’s what’s going on as in well you obviously not a regular Hamilton
Season you’re you’re struggling with at the moment and I know there been big changes there and just you know Ste in which is always hard thing just to walk in and start yeah yeah D’s done a great job he’s um yeah obviously not been in that role
Before um just sort of finding his feet um he’s doing he’s doing a great job we got a really good roster um we’ve been in this position before and we’ve we’ve come through so um you know I’ll back us to get the job done again and um you know another
Season another year with Dean um doing what he’s doing um like he’s a great guy and he’s generally wants what’s best for the club and he’s doing a great job so uh yeah we got a good roster I think uh we just get get a win or two before the
End of the season and everything’s all hunky dory again um you know they’ll have a cracking pennant season they’ got a really good squad there for pendant and um yeah look just another year at learning and just different things as you do like I always said like
Coordinator’s role is kind of like an apprenticeship you know it sort of takes you a few years and you make mistakes along the way everyone done it I did it like I made lots of mistakes going through and um but you learn for those
And um yeah I’ll back him in and uh yeah he’s doing a fantastic job so yeah I the club will the club will come out of it pretty good I think so what’s the next steps for the club m is there any big plans in line or is it
Uh to be honest I’ve been out I’ve been away from it for a while I don’t actually know what’s going on behind the scenes at the moment at the club so I can’t really answer that um yeah I’m sure there’s some big things coming um with the racetrack and gallopers and
Stuff that everything’s still going okay there so yeah just have to wait and see I guess yeah okay well we’ll move on to some more important stuff yeah um you can answer this for me cuz I got does tomato sauce belong in the fridge or the cupboard tomato sauce course is unopened
In the covered opened in the fridge all right well it’s first sensible answer we’ve had I think uh so this year for you know you obviously had a tough year have you developed any new rivalries in the PQ or any new teams you s beef with yeah obviously the um I
Think one of the rinks with the Capel game was quite like got to get a little bit heated uh which is good to see cuz was a fresh team in the competition so that was good um and we had some couple of the flyings that was with so uh not
Really we we always enjoy our inaugura and pine Rivers sort of rivalries like got the better of us this year but we do like those games and um but yeah no none other than that every every week every week’s a rivalry around mate when you’re playing Premier League exactly right and
Do you have a favorite Club to play at in Premier League or in general um we’ll go both favorite Premier League club and you just your favorite Club in general if they both happen to be Muzzy that’s fine like you know it’s always it’s hard to
Go past um bro beaches like to play bows that it’s always beautiful greens to play um to play there so I like going to Broad Beach and playing all their competitions there it’s really nice um I’ve never sort of played too well at tweet heads like never like myself as a
Person never really got on as a player there too well unless I’m on the indoor um but as a preference I prefer playing on grass but as a player I generally play better on carpet so it’s one of those things um but yeah uh and the plq club yeah look
Um oh yeah muzzy’s I got a little for muzy M it’s a good little Club I like going there they obviously host the finals and uh they got a good crowd there I like uh chatting to all the members is there good good club so yeah beautiful that’s a lovely answer we

Deserve yeah and if you’re a good Skipper and you can and you can drive then like it’s it’s it’s an art it’s like a technique to drive so I think something you could do with little reverse rather than you know you have no dead ends but you can nominate a dead
End have a dead ends but you can nominate a respot in so if you’ve got five on the spot you can nominate the Killer and put it on that’s interesting that’s interesting yeah if that was yeah could be it’s interesting it’s my question so you can just be quiet now

Your balls throughout the game um I think that happened in the state peers once especially uh especially obviously now we’re playing our double headers on the same weekend and there’s two different GRE change you can you know you’re allowed to change your balls between games don’t you I I do I do know
That yes but um I think like you know if you sort of get to get to a venue and you and you’ve had you start playing and you it rains or something happens the green slows up or you’re going in from daytime to night time and uh you know
You got that last hour of play at night time and the green really starts hitting the wall um I think you should be a excuse can you change mid-end like you play one ball no sad damn it I need my it’s it’s like changing your your rink
Around so like if at any one time you can change you can only do it once um but yeah anytime throughout the game you should be able to change uh say you you start a 5:00 game and he gets to sort of 730 and the greens really starting hit
The wall and maybe you want to switch to Tiger twos or your like evolve or something like that with your arrows should be able to do that I reckon that’s an interesting one uh and with everything that’s going on your your plans on staying involved with Premier League Queensland board and your
Position and everything moving for yeah I am I yeah interesting or saying it’s bit too much with no look I enjoy the role I I quite like that whole side of things um it’s good to be behind the scenes and I think the Premier League
Since uh you know we sort of come on BS especially myself and yourself uh from where it was when we jumped on the board it was uh we weren’t going to have a Premier League season so uh to where it is now it’s in a really good spot um you
Know we sort of getting half a million viewers on the live stream introducing the live stream was a great was a great thing and um I think the the game itself and uh the competition is growing every year so uh as long as those things are still happening and everyone’s sort of

Really good so two wins today yeah beautiful I didn’t have to do too much this afternoon the boys carried me a fa bit but uh got a couple post tonight and uh very day for us and uh how do you assess the standard here in in the
League I mean only played two clubs or two games what what do you think it’s just so hard because we played Four RS down in Melbourne compared to three here so it’s it’s very very different but yeah I’m a very solid stand of the air
And you know we had to play well to Wi both today which is what you want you don’t you want a nice competitive competition where everyone’s playing well so so far from what I’ve seen you pretty strong so yeah and um how how many games these guys got for uh
Definitely play next weekend and then we’ll see how we go after that all right so you can lift them up closer to the closer to the play you like oh if they ask I’ll be available so yeah wow look it’s all about it’s all about the coin
Mate and and the good thing is you you got the sponsor of the league running the Eagles Nest nice and he’s got plenty of stuff in his pocket so I I believe he’s uh he’s throwing out at least 10 grand a weekend is that what he’s got you oh

For the year um just on uh games of balls I it was I went to I mentioned a few times I went to Pine last night and uh the club a singles was on and uh Brenda Wilson was um Brendon Wilson was playing up against Andrew Todd did he
Get runner up and umal and no know it was I think when I walked in he was down 133 old Brendon and then he was up 1613 I think the game finished at 2523 Brendan just got up in that game against Andrew Todd and uh but yeah we playing
On the other green few of us kept looking over and the score kept changing and it was a really really good game the old Mexican was marking he was got got the Trot on a couple times he was struggling do struggling for air old Mexican but uh you got to
For he was trotting he was on the Trot a couple of times but um no no measuring there is straight down the other end two two cracking players and I it was a great singles game to sort of to sort of catch an eye on so yeah good good win
There for Brendan and um what I’m Bren you know was that like a semifinal or round I have no I have no idea to be fair yeah it was just a good game of balls between two two cracking players so uh but yeah until Brendan’s skipping

Terms of profit and what not cuz I know muzy we had a really good really good double head around but you know he’s that going to cover you know rather than having five games at home only having the three but how much we make out of it but um it
Be interesting to hear from other clubs numbers and it would um the FL I guess I know we’re getting to the end of this show but I sort of can’t wait for next week’s show just because it’s I want to know the ladder off this weekend winds going to be crazy so um
