Lot of members you know obviously more importantly the members massive weeks in The Showdown streets in the main slate streets um and it’s always nice you know when you when you get up to the top of the leaderboard and you start looking around at your competition you see
Another shipit Nation logo up there myself and our guy Q Matt finished 34 uh third place fourth place in that 555 we were battling fell a little short from first but you know we’ll take the $70,000 combined and move on um looking forward to this week I like these fields
These you know 60 70 man Fields um you know the top 50 and ties uh within 10 Strokes advanc so you got to kind of play it like a little bit of a no cut event we’ll talk through it although more people ended up getting cut last

Thing and then I think 19 guys missed the cut so how are you treating it when it comes to that and then anything that you’re seeing with weather to kick things off here yeah in these smaller Fields it’s a little more difficult to take advant AG of weather situations
Because the tea times are pretty um you know stacked and condensed it’s not like a wide range where they’re teeing off like eight hours apart or anything uh anything crazy like that so it’s hard to take advantage of I’m not seeing much in terms of whether I’ll be playing it
Straight up but again to the point that we always talk about on this show and you’ve done a phenomenal job of having success with this strategy throughout the years you can always just naturally play the waist deck who the heck knows what’s going to pop up who knows how the
Course is play maybe this week week the course you know starts out starts out playing easy and then it dries up throughout the day and then the afternoon guys have have it rough but then it’s like a little more neutral on day two so you can always play those
Wave Stacks if you want but in terms of one side or the other having it Advantage small field condensed tea times um I’ll be playing it straight up this week yeah I think I that’s going to be in the Slate plan too I’ll have that covered as well just want to see here

Took the risk and we ended up waiting till Monday but uh maybe that’s why you didn’t come in first to maybe that’s why you came in fourth if it had if it had ended on Sunday they would have got the job done yeah that’s uh that’s definitely my excuse for not winning
First there’s no doubt about that all right do you want to talk roster construction quickly first and then hop into the tiers because we get to the tiers we’re gonna have some fun with it do the keeper cut have all that stuff but just off the top I mean we
Said this when the 5K range existed now it’s gone but it’s also a condensed strong field so I think we could say it again it feels like we know where the ownership is is going here like you could tell quite easily at the top Scotty and Rory I think a little bit
More trickles to Scotty just because the fact that you can get to him so easily mayo and I did the show earlier and built lineups and you could actually build Scotty and Rory lineups with Min wo and other guys down there pretty easily but give us your minwoo take
Early off the top so we don’t have to spend as much time on it later and then talk to me about how you’re handling these guys up top that will segue Us in to this upper range of Klay Rory and Chef yeah the M moo thing is interesting
I mean uh we talked about it on Monday at the first look show you know had a lot of time to obviously think about it and I mean he’s clearly like the most mispriced guy we’ve seen in quite some time I mean he definitely is way up at
The top of that list he’s like 40 to 50 to one to win this event depending on where you’re you’re shopping and he’s 6600 he’s down there with guys that are like 200 to one uh to win he’s been playing very very well I mean the only
Knock obviously is he hasn’t played well here but again he’s a different golfer uh at this point I mean my final Takeaway on him is I just don’t think he’s going to be as highly owned um as people were initially thinking uh I think we see probably somewhere right
Around 20 but the 20% but the one thing um that is very important to note it depends on which contest you’re entering if you’re in some of the higher stake stuff he’s gonna be higher owned people have identified that this guy is a really strong play and you know some of
The high Stak players might just Jam him in there so um I don’t think he’ll be as highly owned as anticipated if you like him play them but you know you got to be careful with with how you are playing them like if you are gonna play uh you
Know you talked about those Scotty Rory teams like a lot of Scotty Rory teams are gonna have minu Lee in there it’s soft pricing this week Scotty Rory minm Lee you’re at basically 7200 you can get like legit guys in there um so it’s again goes to the point that you always
Do a good job of explaining to people is it’s not necessarily who you play it’s how you play them if you are playing uh a minwoo team maybe look to do something a little bit different maybe go Min woo and then a mid-tier build the rest way
Out if you plug in minw you got 86 8,700 in that range uh I think a lot of people will include Scotty and and Rory and most teams this week so just do something a little different in in that aspect so yeah definitely like him I think he’s way way too cheap obviously
Um and I don’t think he’ll be as highly owned but you just need to be careful with with how you deploy them this week would would be my final takeaway are these poison in a bottle I don’t know or in a can I should say but
You know we both drink them for whatever reason finally got them cheers hopefully no one brought this one up yet though but mwo 20% too much what about this one sin woi got gotta play him is it a sin to fade him or a sin to go over you know
That’s the the to the top of the leaderboard could be a thing but I will say this I was guilty of this on Monday you said it I talked about it Ryan we hit the weather off the top so just go back to the starting point but just to
Note this I said this at the start of the week and then I posted this tidbit in our Discord this is why it’s fun there’s lots of good stuff going on there great conversation today and there around process and roster construction and and win Equity uh how to build with
Win Equity or without how to treat different contest sizing and actual process of playing which I think is something that goes completely overlooked of playing for the tournaments and the contests that you’re actually in versus just making a lineup and saying it’s golf it’s random anything happens there is still stuff
That you can do that is kind of true but there is ways you can build for certain tournaments but I will note this with minmi and then we’ll move to the top I said like what you said like last year way better golfer this year way better
Coming in all of this if you go to this year he just came T2 at the cognizant before that though okay he won the Australian open last year he came T4 he came third at the isps Honda Honda Honda Australian Open he came third this year
Last year he was like 21st or sorry this year he was 21st 43rd whatever last year he was actually T2 T3 and t26 coming in so it’s almost the exact same thing form wise that he’s coming in and then last year he missed the cut here couple more
Notes that were made and we’ll go back to the the upper top here with with Scotty Rory and cay was just that last week the par fives he tore them apart everything else there was not much on approach all of his great approach shots were on those par fives well he does get
Four par fives here so he can tear those up again and he’s only 6600 he doesn’t have to go out and win for you but then the other angle was how bad he’s been here the last two years and when you go put it together with that so I think
It’s going to be sort of Choose Your Own Adventure but I do think that people should note all of those factors put it together and remember that it’s not minwoo versus someone in a vacuum in a matchup bet that’s pretty obvious what you would do if you’re getting 10 to one
Odds on somebody around him if you play Min woo you might just want to avoid Rory and Scotty and try and get different that way you might want to leave money on the table you might want to pair them with another 6K guy or two other 6K guys when others might not
Build that way you might want to play him within his wave and do and avoid chock that way there’s lots of different ways that you can still play Min wo this week so I’ll leave it at that I’ve got more in the Slate plan breaking down roster construction and thoughts over at
The site that stuff’s already up but who let’s go to the top here um how far do you want to include up for your keeper cut like where’s your first keeper cut going to come in at the first keeper cut is in the low 9k range so so let’s do
This mid n and above I don’t want to uh disrespect guys but let let’s do Xander and up I did this my guy Kenny Kim did it too he completely disrespected old Iceberg there but let’s just do it for the sake of the two ranges treat him
That way let’s go Xander up to Scotty and give me your first thoughts there yeah I mean when we initially talked about it on on Monday just like bri briefly going through the one thing that has definitely become more clear to me throughout the week is that the pricing
Is very soft and it’s very easy uh to get multiple high-end guys in there you know including going straight up to the top with Scotty and Rory so um in terms of you know what this range looks like obviously people are going to go to Scotty number one and they’re clearly
Going to go to Rory number two and they’ll be one and two in ownership in this range and you know most likely in the field just because of how easy it is to play them Scotty is the the man he’s the best golfer in the world in my eyes
Um and you know we get the news this week that he’s changing Putters which is phenomenal news because it really can’t get any worse like I I don’t care if the dude was going out there with a Fisher Price plastic putter like I’d be more excited to play him versus what he’s
Been using recently so I think it’s a boost to his game um I planned on playing a lot of them and that’s you know not going to change I’ll probably add more honestly that now that he’s changing his putter just can’t get any worse with the putter great course
History here uh Rory the only knock is is definitely the recent form I mean the form has not been very good recently the 21st 24th uh 66 22nd like for a 8K golfer yeah sure but for someone that’s always at the top like we need more out
Of him but again he’s got the course history here people are going to like to play him if deciding between the two I mean for me it’s it’s definitely Scotty like if I could only play one or the other it’s Scotty over Rory um but both are you know strong options a $700
Discount the guy that to me clearly get squeezed in this range is Patrick Klay has to be Patrick Klay I mean I do think there’s something to the five figure price tags and the four figure price tags he’s at 10K five figure price tag you have havland and Schley right below
Him and obviously it’s only like A1 and $200 different but there’s there’s a visual effect there and I’m convinced of it when someone has the five five figure price tag versus the four I think he just has to get a little bit squeezed in
This range and I want some of him I mean it’s easy to get exposure to a lot of these guys I mean you you got to find a spot to make some cuts um you know I feel pretty good about the range that I’ll be taking some Cuts in but man a
Lot of these guys 9k and above it’s hard to hard to not play them to be honest with you and I don’t want to sit here and say play all these guys and do this and that but you know depending on the the contest you’re in there’s different
Things you can do I mean all these guys have big win upside so if canle is the one that gets squeezed I’m fine staying on him at 10K you know back toback solid finish it was rough for a little bit at the 52nd in American Express 56 at
Farmers then 11th at the Pebble Beach and then was in contention basically all week at the Genesis so I’d be good with him the one I’m honestly least excited to play would be havland it it’s looked a little rough for him recently um again he he’ll most likely be in my player
Pool but it’s not a guy that I want to take like an overweight stance on I want to see a little bit more from him and again I know he’s played well here um and then Xander at 98 um I think is is definitely a strong option too so I mean
Again it’s going to be hard to make a case to to fade a lot of these guys like 9k and above even even mid eight M even mid eight K and above as well it’s going to be tough because they’re just there’s strong option there’s just so much win
Equity with a lot of these guys but you know in terms of roster con ruction obviously it’s going to be Scotty and Rory they’re going to get a ton of ownership can’t lay again I I think get squeezed a little bit um and then Xander and havland all right here it’s it’s
Obviously loaded range and you know tough to tough to really make the case to to be off these guys yeah that visual you’re talking about it’s called The Best Buy pricing effect and and that’s what it is and you know I’ve talked about this in the past some people get
It some don’t but they you know the $99 over a hundred sometimes makes all the difference in the world the marketing teams behind Nike and Apple all these companies and Best Buy they know something that we don’t and that’s the the way they do it so it definitely
Works it’ll play tricks on your mind but I guess the the big thing up top is I think when people have the money they’ll get to Scotty it just it looks that way man you can shape it up a bunch of different ways the putter has been bad
And all these factors but everything else has been so good but the difference is what if he was just getting good with that Putter and now he switches it and it screws him up and he goes back I mean he he did not switch to what I was
Expecting and hoping to see from him was the cheater putter I want see him go like baa or like zalatoris or Glover or all those guys that have found something with their Putter and be able to do that I don’t know why he won’t switch to that
He’s already like an old grandpa I don’t know why he doesn’t just switch that he plays uh what does he do he plays what’s the key like the game he was playing with Sam Burns something like card game or whatever sits at home watches the office barely goes out just grab the old
Man cheater Putter and get the job done so did not like that he didn’t switch to that but I still like Rory up top one thing like you said I I hope this plays out this way I don’t think it will but the recent form of 66 24th and 21st
Looks bad on paper for the results he was number one in t green last week he was fine just couldn’t putt when he comes to this course he always can and and his not results here first sixth fifth 10th 13th second people know it they’re still gonna get there but I’m
Just saying when you need that 700 bucks you can you can find it easily that way I’m okay with either of them I actually prefer Rory over Scotty I like both of Xander and havland can’t like can get squeezed that’s fine but I I like Ander
A little bit more but I think no matter what your ownership projections say and we’ll see that uh and if we were talking our guy James shout out to him moonwalk back or get steamed up it feels like I think a lot of sites right now see havland higher owned than Xander but
Mayo and I built a bunch of lineups today and havin made his way into almost none of them and it just kept landing on Xander so I think we’re gonna see Xander be more owned than havin and if you have them pretty equal I actually don’t mind
The flip to havin there I still like Xander especially this type of event the setup just how good he is on all fronts I’m just saying if you’re playing the ownership game there I think we end up seeing hin actually come in a little lighter in that spot let’s move on let’s
Go to this next range 9k uh Justin Thomas up to L Iceberg at 9500 you said you got your first keeper cut here let’s talk through it first and then we can save that talk talk to us about this 9k range troop 9500 and down yeah I mean
Lud viig been phenomenal guy we’ve been on for a while dating back to the swing season I know we had a lot of success or members had a lot of success kind of sticking with him dude’s a real deal and 9500 he’s gonna get some ownership but I
Think just a lot of these guys end up between like I don’t know 13 to 18% I think they’re all just within like a a similar range in terms of ownership which really isn’t all that important to be honest with you the little 5% differences like just play the guys you
Like the most here like after Scotty and after Rory the rest of these guys are going to be similar so like stick with what you like here I wouldn’t get caught up in the the ownership of these guys I mean it’s going to be within four to
Five percentage points on most of these guys which to me is just doesn’t really matter all that much so um Oar I’m definitely in on like I’m just in on him moving forward I think he’s the man I think he’s going to pick up wins uh along the way everything you want has
The the high upside just a phenomenal play um spe 94 I think he has a chance to get maybe a little bit squeezed to be honest with you um I think he does have the good course history here um you know we’re kind of looking for for guys that
Are pretty long it’s not necessarily his game but man it’s like something about fading speed where you just immediately get tilted is like he comes out hot if you fade in that sort of thing so honestly for that reason I will probably I will probably end up with uh some
Speed not like a priority play Sam berms I like playing Sam burns when he’s uh on these little heaters and he’s on one right now he’s a streaky golfer he really is six 10th third 10th um he’s a momentum guy he’s a feeling it type guy
Like you can tell when he’s playing well and he is playing well right now so that’s where I want to be uh gonna skip over one name for for OB how low are we going down here just JT up yep uh morawa at 91 I don’t know moderate interest on
Him I guess and then um JT I’m just going to be on him I give him that pass for last week or last time he played with tiger and had that bad outing prior to that everything was on point but the keeper cut guy in this range is going to
Be Max hom uh I think he gets a little bit overlooked I think he has a chance to have some some low ownership uh you know I don’t really have a strong lean one way or the other on on Max H so he’ll be our first keeper cut option uh
For this event yeah I I like H so I be i’ be keeping up for two votes early but I’ll let people Pile in here first but um I said it earlier like again when most people think of hom it’s like hom coures or certain events but he’s
Actually been just really close here like 14th 17th 10th 24th he always finds his way around it’s a ball Striker type course I I think you could see where he pops up he can take advantage of some of those power fives I think he’s fine uh
Ludvig Iceberg up there is fine I don’t know I guess I struggle more let let me just see where I had him before but like man burns yeah Burns I guess I just don’t know what his actual if his ownership’s actually going to do what it says in in
That range it looks like it’s a lot higher than some of the guys around him I like morawa for sure and so you know mainly morawa is the guy in here after that it’s kind of the guys I will say with with the ownership stuff I feel
Very strongly with with what I said like I I think all these guys end up between like within four to five percentage points and and if you think that’s super important when you’re building your teams then you can play the ownership game but to me I just think it it
Doesn’t matter all that much because they’re all I mean there’s no way to to twist that they’re all going to be very similarly owned in this range yeah and I think that’s where people get into a bit of a mess right they start saying okay this guy’s 14 this one’s 16 and then

Saying is when you’re putting in one lineup stop switching off the guy you loved all week because you found out he might he went oh I I was gonna play him when he was 14% but then I heard those guys say he’s gonna be 17.5% so couldn’t
Do it I had to move off why you liked him move off somewhere else or just keep it and see what happens it’s the guy that you actually liked for the week so I just don’t understand why people do that and that’s where it gets misconcept like where people say oh it’s not

And uh spread that out and play three teams I’m sticking with the same core play you know my main guys on two out of three three lineups and I’m just looking for different combin ation I’m not going to play 18 different golfers in in threx I’m going to have some guys on multiple
Teams and when those core guys or your main guys get the job done then you have more combinations to get to the the top of the leaderboard so that’s kind of how I play a three max maybe like two to three guys um that I’m using on multiple
Teams and then mixing in other guys that I kind of like I think that’s a a good good way to go about it but again there’s no right or wrong way to do it I mean there’s definitely no right or wrong if there was I’d be winning the
Three max contest every single week Tampa would be winning it every single week that’s not the case you got to take it on a week-by-week basis like you me mentioned that’s the main point there damn blowout wow blowout all right and I had my two votes on but I like

Of this range are thala um mayo and I were talking about him today brought up some really good points he’s he’s almost like I know we compare his game to Jordan Speed you could say you’re getting a cheaper Jordan Speed well Jordan spe has been fourth here the last
Two times he played it but then the other thing about the gala is it’s almost like Max H before Max hom got really good and started winning a bunch it was always going to be like a top 10 or miscut or a top 10 or a 40th or worse
And that’s what it was with theala mayo brought up all the stats today thala’s been up there heavily when he’s in the mix he’s doing quite well I’m not sure if I have it here the same but yeah 37th but then a fifth a 64th and a Mis cut
But then a second then a 20th like he he’s gonna be top 20 or bust and I I kind of think that is the angle of some of the volatility you want to put into these lineup again you don’t go out and put six guys that you feel have the same
