Champions League Picks Round of 16 Leg 2 PT1 | Champions League Odds, Soccer Predictions & Free Tips

It’s time to decide who are the first four teams invited to the UEFA Champions League quarter finals. Bayern will try to get out of their bad form and come back against Lazio at home. Real Sociedad is in a dire situation as they host PSG but have to come back from an 0-2 deficit. Real Madrid got a lucky win away at Leipzig, and now they will game manage in the Bernabeu to go through. Last but not least, Man City pretty much secured its spot at the QFs with a 3-1 away victory against Copenhagen, which means they could even rotate their squad to avoid fatigue.

-30 Lazio plus one A2 might be a runner at plus 110 the under over is set at three and I’m not thinking I see four goals here the draws at plus 500 and at the bottom there it is there’s the graphic first leg is Lazio leading 1 nil uh Mina Bayern

Lazio how ugly a game do you want I know how ugly a game indeed um I don’t know which way to go with is to be honest with you because I mean we’re looking at two de two teams that are really down in the dumps at the

Moment I mean Bayern obviously got a two two draw against fryberg this just means that it’s it’s just another non- win for them which the only one we’ve seen so far is that late strike from Harry kanane to give them that win of RB liik

So one out of their last five which is really not good enough if you look at latio that uh they’ve Fallen now in three of their last four in all competitions um and yet you see I look at Lazio and I don’t think of them as being a bad team when

They really try I find them to be a really great team but the problem that they have is that they don’t have the squad depths to play in all these different competitions and I think that mariar has explained that time and time again we see that when their minds on it

And their concentration levels are high they can pull out some really interesting performances and some very good results like the first leg against buern Munich especially a very depressed Bayern Munich at the moment um with Thomas duul who went from looking really tense on the bench to now smiling um he

Looks like he was just didn’t care at all against fryberg which makes me think that is this situation now becoming untenable because it looks like we’re going to see what the result is against laio and there’s a there’s a possibility that he might now be saged straight away

So that’s going to look very interesting because like I said there doesn’t look like there’s any more tension there he doesn’t even look nervous anymore to be drawing games like the one against fryberg um for Lazio they played against Milan on Friday night which is the most ridiculous match you would have ever

Watched in Europe um three red cards the first one completely understand 57th minute Lao go down to 10 men paradoxically they started to play their best football I mean honesty I think Lao were really good throughout um I’m sure that you might disagree on some points but I certainly think that I thought

They were very good throughout the game got even better when they were down to 10 men had so many opportunities to open the scoring but they were down to 10 men so they didn’t always have the runners available to them but then of course at the very end

They lost two two men to ridiculous red cards which should never have been given and they were just so angry at that so this game comes at a time where I don’t know if there’s going to be a reaction there where they’re going to try to show something um the only upsetting thing

About this is that they don’t have a Midfield um Dynamo in Nolla who’s been so good for them um as for Bayern Munich I mean they have have to win this they are at home um we know that they have the talent on the pitch even though

They’ve got so many um so many Avail players not available to them um so I’m obviously Dio UPA Mao is not going to be available to them so I think this could be a one-1 um yeah I know that sounds crazy because it’s Bayern Munich against Lazio but I’m not so

Sure I tell you what one one might be pushing the boat out I’m thinking the under three go I don’t see four goals first of all three is better under three yeah because I mean it’s one of those but Bayern for me they’ve only got like

Like in the last decade or so even if the Bundesliga form hasn’t been brilliant coming into the spring they’ve managed to turn it on when necess Neary but it really wasn’t the case in Rome they failed to have a shot on target very poor performance although you Harry Kane missed that presentable opportunity

In the first half if that goes in it could have been a different story but since then we’ve had the tuckle news we’ve seen them lose at bokam beaten La leig in the last minute with pretty unconvincing performance and then coughing at that lead against fror on

Friday night so um yeah it’s difficult to know really where they’re at it’s certainly not in a positive position there seems to be an uneasy atmosphere around the club and the playing staff at the minute and um team news wise you know you’re looking at Kim alongside

Either dire or delict there’s no masi SAR or Bo so you know looking at kimick or Limer right back again they are get atable here for Lazio um the issue I have with latio really is just when they have gone away to teams who play high intensity football they have tended to

Crumble a little bit uh we’ve seen inter Fiorentina and Atlanta all kind of put them to the sword a little bit in recent weeks they’ve already lost away a final and an Atletico in the group stages I didn’t think they were convincing it all away at Celtic either and their domestic

Record the top eight is five defeats and six so big ask here F latio but you know the question mark is still against B mic’s name can they really sort of improve dramatically on what we’ve seen so far in the last couple of weeks or or

Even months really so I think there’s no way I can trust buying at those kind of prices or even that kind of handicap so um I did look at the under three goals and it was a strong kind of consideration but my kind of I’ve kind

Of gone against it in the end just because I don’t really want to cheer on a knockout game when Bayern are trailing and Bayern having to sort of push push the game um and sort of have to sort of wait on either zero one or two goals for

A profit um I think we probably will see at least two goals possibly three because I do think L have a punches chance here at least getting on the score sheet but um I think byus 109 minus 109 Marco here what for Lao to score to score yeah

I mean that’s the kind of price that would appeal more more than backing under three goals um but the price I kind of went for in the end was around msala you guys have mentioned already um he’s bigger than plus 200 just to score and it’s not just because he scored that

Beautiful goal on Friday night stunning footwork kind of Bamboozled the Fred ball defense and weasel his way through and finished really well he’s actually third in Bayern squad for expected goals accumulated this season there’s doubts over San’s Fitness still his forms dropped off the cliff in 2024 um so

You’re basically looking at har Kan is the main man and Musa is the the sort of next best and bayern’s goal expectancy in this game is 2.45 so obviously Kane takes up a huge chunk of the market but msala is almost your your next best option and so for

Sort plus 200 in the Bayern side who expected to score at least two and a half goals here it just feels a bit too big really and um yeah he’s he’s kind of found former recently in the last couple of Bundesliga games and he’s been close to his best in Champions League football

Too he’s contributed in almost every game so um I’m going to have a little stab at at that price just because I I don’t really want to get involved in either team either handicap um or the goal line but uh yeah if I was to have a play on those traditional markets it

Would be latio to score yeah I thought the draw halftime might well be a runner as well because I fcy Lazio will sit in try and frustrate because we’re not talking about a dynamic buern and if we are and we witness it then what have they been doing in the last six weeks

Because they haven’t broken sweat they’ve not been confident and if it wasn’t for muala kimich Kane and Noya they would not have picked up any points anywhere because even when they beat livig with a two late unbelievable left foot finishes from Harry Kane they were second best for the majority of the game

Um there was something else I want to say as well muala he for me muala Bellingham foden fre of the the future of uh of world soccer for me uh just head and shoulders above I just love them all um Min have you got one you’d

Like to throw in with M3 or are we happy with M3 Warren Z Emory from PSG sort of knowledge is that okay let’s have a little look at the official picks please under three at minus 110 for myself and the queen of sierr when we get locked in we don’t win uh musala

Anytime goal scorer at plus 200 that’s a minimum of plus 200 as well I think the under three I don’t think we see four goals because if if Bayan get the two goals and they get themselves in the game then I think they will try theyve

Just not been good enough I just cannot see that but the draw is a big runner at plus 500 as well let’s move on to game number two see what is the quality of the Champions League this season is not good at all Sashi dad plus 152 PSG plus 176

The draw is at plus 246 the first leg PSG won 2-0 uh Sashi dad have been very good in Champions League and listen to say that they’ve been inconsistent in La Liga would be frightening as you know from the La Liga show the banker was severe to beat Sashi dad at the weekend

Because knowing sashad don’t turn up most weeks and it was the it was the case again under over is set at two and a half though with the over being at minus 104 Marco here Sashi dad have been known to turn up and put on a performance under the lights but against

PSG there’s a there’s a golfing class here it’s just whether a PSG turn up I’m not sure I agree um I don’t think there is a huge golf in class I think Ro so Dad do have an opportunity here huge huge task obviously BR two goals down

But from what I saw in the first hour at the park dep prance there’s a side who were brilliant um for so many turnovers were the better side for the most of that match created opportunities didn’t take them um and they were made to you

Know made to pay for that and um sure they tired and they they look leggy then in the last sort half hour or so and and PSG ended up winning quite comfortably but um it was not an easy task for PSG whatsoever and I just think this is s

Dad’s season now I should say rail soy dad um but this is their season now eliminated from the copad Del re last midweek they’re out of the running for Champions League qualification in La Liga they’re going to be putting everything into this game and I think they will take heart from that

Performance in the first leg they’ll also take a lot of heart from their performances when they outplayed Benfica and enter at anowa this season um the crowd will be buzzing um it’s a huge occasion for ra ass to be playing a knockout tie against PSG at home in the

Champions League and um yeah I just think you know o aabal is back um so their main sort of heart beaten forward areas you know the goals they’re being sort of criticized for not scoring enough but actually in the last four games since the PSG game they’ve been

Back amongst the goals sure the defense has creaked too but I think all their eyes all their expectation is on this game now and um PSG defensively do not convince me whatsoever um I’m not saying they’re going to completely collapse in this game but they are the biggest over

Performers in Europe’s Big Five leagues if you look at the underly metrics they’ve given up 0.88 goals per game this season however the XG is 1.94 which is enormous over performance and kind of goes to show what a a superstar Superman Don Rumer is between the sticks really

Because that kind of performance is is unsustainable and um this is a PSG side who haven’t kept a clean sheet on their travels in the Champions League for almost four years they conceded seven goals in three away group games we saw how they were put to the sword by

Newcastle who played that played to the atmosphere but really got into their face and disrupted their Rhythm and and made them pay really and I think defensively if you look at the team news coming into this game no kimpembe no scrar marinos is a major doubt danillo

Is a doubt probably will play but you know you could be missing at least three big Defenders there and that makes them weak and vulnerable I think so I think ra s dad will give it a right good go um I think we’ll see another aggressive attacking approach uh the flip side is

PSG playing in Counterattack mode if you like playing with a bit more freedom you know angry killing mbae after the last two games where he’s been substituted early um you know there’s an opportunity here for PSG to to get on the score sheet too so Lis Enrique won’t change

His principles just because of the the position they’re in I think PSG will still look to have some of the ball look to play Forward Thinking football too and engage in what could be quite an entertaining game so I’m surprised that overs is the underdog out of the two and

I’m happy to back goals in this game um but I’m going to push it a bit further than just over two and a half I’m going to about both teams to score and over two and a half goals for a plus money selection um looking forward to this

Game I think it could be the best of the four this midweek yeah I had to build up uh I mean yeah PSG draw no bet plus 100 sashad haven’t won at home since mid November PSG are now going to be able to play counter attacking football where

They can just sit in s dad uh I just don’t know what I’m going to get so even though I’ve been very very impressed with some of their performances I’ve been less than impressed with the majority of performances Mina although they could win the game if they put in a

Be honest with you it seemed like uh even when it came to the tackles PSG worked quite hard actually in that particular match against against a ro ass outside that usually is the team that outworks one of their opponents but I have to agree with everything that

Mark said especially in the first half they were the they were the team that really looked like they could get on top but it is that their inability to to even get a shot on target that makes me a little bit worried about them going forward but obviously they do have some

Players back o zabel is the one that makes the difference for them um and makes obviously what makes the difference is that they’re playing at home they’ve always put in their best performances at home even though they have been so atrocious in their last nine matches winning only against

Mayorca and I don’t even think you should think about that because mayorca were down to 10 for um for nearly a half and uh and then got another red card so it should have been an easy game for Larry Allen once again that was uh they

Barely managed to win it so there’s been some problems for them um PSG though back toback draws as well Ken mbappe is sort of being benched quite a bit where he was smiling and now sitting in the stands because Luis l largely wants to see how his team can perform without

Their St star man especially as he is pro he is going to leave in the summer so it’s about trying to find the right chemistry the the right team to assess the players that he does have so that he knows how to move going forward now I

Can’t imagine that he’s going to try to bench mbapp in this particular match um but PSG are also a team that really worry me when they are away from home um I think that they have star quality but I’m not entirely sure if the cohesive unit is enough to register goals I

Certainly think they’re good enough to to score one but I don’t trust that backline because I don’t trust their Midfield there’s just never enough bodies in there so I agree with Mark I mean for me I would so totally think this is a both teams to both teams score

An over two and a half that’s the way that I would look at it I think Sid dad can definitely get a goal um and so can PSG and I don’t think it’s going to stay a 1-1 I think this could be a really entertaining match to be honest with you

There could be go goals Galore so I think that’s definitely the way to go yeah it’s going to be a great game to watch because s had a two-nil down and I’ve got to actually have a proper go at a side that want to suck you in and then

Hit you on the break I mean I’d even maybe have one out wide on the right one out wide on the left and cheat just don’t go with your Runners wait for it to break down and just hit them and it could be like 3v1 it’s how early does

Two sides so it’s really it depends on who are not is making um who is available to city but I I don’t think that rogy won’t make an appearance in this match so frankly I think this is going to be a clean sheet I think this

Is going to be a 4-nil win for Manchester City it doesn’t matter if it’s Bob and ferden and bruer and Alvarez um or or anything the only one that really makes a difference is is rodri when it comes to a clean sheet but I can’t see that Copenhagen will travel

To this they’ll try to make a go of this but I honestly can’t see other I mean Ellen is always always the player who can actually spring a surprise so there’s always a possibility that he can manage something but I would say this is going to be a clean sheot for me 3-0

Would you say 3-0 Man City I say3 to 40 yeah okay so that’s minus well that’s a tick for minus 2.25 Marco here um it’s just a horrible betting heat really isn’t it it is that’s why we left it Mark is giving City an 86% chance to win the handicap is there at

Two and a quarter so the same City win by by three or more Bry um over and under you know minus 105 for over three and a half so it’s basically saying possibly a 3-1 um which I think is probably fair enough and you you referenced it there at the start flash I

Think if didy weren’t playing Liverpool at anfield on Sunday I’d be a bit more inclined to kind of give this game a bit more of a think but the fact that that game is looming large I do expect a bit of rotation I do expect tools to be down

Downed after about an hour if city are you know one or two goals up and the tie is done and dusted so um Copenhagen they competed really well away at Bayern Munich the game was nil nil but they missed a couple of good opportunities that day they were blanked at man united

But they missed a penalty on that occasion too so City aren’t exactly renowned for keeping clean sheets this season home more away so yeah plus money if you wanted to have an interest perhaps plus money or just combine Copenhagen to score by backing City to win and both teams to score you might

Get close to plus 200 um the other alternative a bit of a a long shot really but you know we we assume regardless of the 11 V City play here they will dominate the ball dominate control territory Etc and so on um and therefore the card count will be

Relatively low and there’s a Norwegian referee in this game called Espen escas who’s not very well traveled in terms of his European experience um and normally Man City games are relatively low carding games especially when they’re minus 795 favorites so you will get about 20 to1 or so on zero cards in this

Game just a bit of a long shot if you did want to have a bit of an interest would it be three and a half the market the cards yeah yeah be about two and it’ll be probably set an agent line of three I’d say um okay three and a half

At best if it’s three and a half absolutely get on the unders but um yeah as a bit of a long shot you might have got back no cards for just bit of an interest really it probably won’t win but it’s a 20 to1 shot that’s not not

Did them a little bit of a disservice there in the first leg I thought they were very good at least in the first half had a legitimate goal wrongly ruled out um as well so you know if that goal goes in it could conceivably be a a
