Already difficult course even harder all right so let’s pull up my checklist and this round four I’m doing it a little bit different than what I’ve done for my previous videos only because this is a signature event so we have a different composition as far as the people that
Are playing plus this course has been crazy so the first thing we’re going to look at is bogey avoidance we saw what happened with Jake knap we saw what happened what I think Fleet with the round before that so we have had some players that have just had terrible
Times of it because they’re so much water the rough is so thick and so high the the the uh sand traps the bunkers are just in the worst places possible so we’re going to look at bogy avoidance and then we’re going to look at feeling tight which is a little bit different uh
This week just because of like I said the players that are playing this is a signature event then we’re going to look at those top 10 targets because as most of you all are aware uh we get position points in round four and then we’re
Going to look at that race to the top so who are those players outside of the top 10 that could potentially do well round four and help you win that guap and then speaking of that we’re going to look at those players that you know so far this
Season have done really well round four and then we’ll kind of look at some DraftKings picks so but before I get into all of this the other thing I want to say is you know one thing I like to do especially sometimes when it’s a kind
Of a hard to predict field just play like the late round the late round is super fun it’s easier you have less to think about you have fewer golfers to pick so there is a higher probability that you could ch to but also it just
Can be very fun as long as you pick the right Captain all right so let’s look at bogey avoidance and we can see we can look at the screen and we can see that the top five players right now this season for bogy avoidance that are playing in this tournament are number
One you have Sam Burns who’s you know really good at putting on these kind of surfaces you have Xander chafl you have Jordan spe you have Scotty Sheffer who is now tied for first place I mean he had a great round three and you have Andrew putam so these are five players
That historically do well at not getting Bogies and we know those double triple septile Bogies if that happens to someone in your lineup it’s game over the next thing we want to look at are who are those players that are feeling tight so once again as I mentioned it’s
A little different this week because everybody in the top 10 has won on the PGA tour at least once but there’s some players that are feeling tighter than others because they haven’t won in a while so we have will alator so he’s looking for his first postsurgery win
He’s two shots off the lead we have Harris English who hasn’t won since 2021 he’s three shots off the lead you have Justin Thomas we know that his 2023 season was forgettable he’s five shots off the lead he hasn’t won since 2022 and then you have Shane Lowry who we
Know has you know played well on the DP World Tour but he hasn’t won uh as far as a PGA tournament since 2019 we know he’s tied for first and we have have Henley who hasn’t won since 2022 and he’s two shots off the lead so who are those top 10 targets those
Players in the top 10 the way I like to do I like to pick the player that I believe is going to win plus two to three people because no one has ever won a DraftKings tournament just picking all the players in the top 10 there’s going
To be some players outside of the top 10 that are going to race into the top 10 into that winning lineup so I mean Scotty sheffer’s tied for first so I mean he has to be a Target so of course if you’re playing more than one lineup
You’re going to have to have some lineups where you don’t have Scotty sheffler because I mean he could hit a couple of shots into the water and then all of a sudden all of your lineups are ruined uh then you have Shane Lowry someone he’s tired for first we had will
Alator who you know played the first nine to 10 holes you know today or round three really well and then it kind of fell off a little bit we have wam Clark who’s only one stroke off the lead and we have Rory so Rory is for
You know four shots back but this is Rory maroy you can’t tell me that Rory maoy can’t you know shoot a five or six under par where everybody else kind of spins their wheels and all of a sudden just like Sheffer did today in round
Three all of a sudden you have Rory at the top of the leaderboard but who are those players outside of the top 10 that could race up the leaderboard so Victor havin Victor hin is a top 10 golfer in the world you mean to tell me he can’t
Just have one round I mean he doesn’t he’s not going to have a lot of pressure the odds of him winning are you know almost 0% somebody like hoflin he could shoot he could shoot a 500 par then all of a sudden you’re feeling real good
Tagala same thing not going to have any pressure just can shoot he’s trying to I I would say all of these golfers all these golfers all they’re going to be trying to do tomorrow most likely besides get some practice they’re going to be trying to you know they’re going
To get they want to get their their fed X points obviously and obviously the higher up you know they are uh that increases the amount of the person they get but as far as having the pressure that some of the players in the top 10 have they’re not going to have that
Pressure so Tom Kim we saw what Tom Kim did today for round three he barely made the cut and then went out round three and had one of the better rounds sunj M cam young so these are all players that are really really good they could definitely have a round four that could
Make you the Difference Maker and so who are those players that are historically good round four so you have Adam hadwin who once again he is not going to be highly owned you know so if you put him in your lineups you definitely could have some leverage if he actually does
Go off and has his usual round four by the way when I say good for round four I’m combining DraftKings and then PGA stats so obviously PGA you know has hundreds of thousands of stats that people use to make models and you know all of every everything they use to to
Create content so that’s free and they just you know pretty it up so you have that then we know DraftKings gives us who they believe are the best for round four so I’m combining that for these five players you have Jordan spe you have Seth straa you have Scotty sheffler
Which should make everybody nervous and then you have Andrew putam popping back up for the players who are good for round four so let’s move over to DraftKings and let’s look at a player in each of the salary tiers that I’m targeting and putam is one of them 6,200
He gives you that salary release so if you want to put sheffler and or Rory into your lineup you have puam we talked about he’s top five in bogy avoidance he’s top five in round three you know as far as um round three average so definitely someone in the 6 6000 excuse
Me that you should consider and then 7000s we have sunj M it’s insane to see him at 7700 so I think we’re getting a still of a deal we know sunj m is someone who can put together a good round four and then we get into the
8000s and of course uh my Draft Kings wants to reload but I have an amazing memory I have Windom Clark I mean wam Clark is a stroke or two off the lead 8700 especially if you are fading if you’re fading Sheffer then you definitely have to consider wam Clark
And then now we go into the 9000s and where’s my guy let’s see 9000s oh yeah we have zalatoris so once again we saw zalatoris scuffle just a little bit but still someone who proved for I would say for I don’t know 50 six holes that he’s someone that can dominate so there’s
Nothing stopping him from dominating tomorrow and then we have our pick and so I was kind of on the fence so obviously uh the most common sense pick would be Scotty sheffler but I also like Rory so I really think Rory if you’re going to be different if you’re not
Going to put Sheffer in your lineup I really like putting Rory in your lineup so it’s really a question of my Scotty you’re gonna have your Scotty lineups and then you’re G to have your nons Scotty lineups all right so let me know your thoughts let me know if you have
