Titleist Unveils Next Generation Vokey SM10 Wedges

Titleist recently announced the launch of the newest Vokey Design wedge models – the Vokey SM10. I was excited to get more details on the technology and performance advancements in these wedges engineered for better feel, flight control and maximum spin.

According to Master Craftsman Bob Vokey, the SM10 wedges provide golfers the keys for great wedge play:

Shot Versatility: With 6 sole grinds and 25 loft/bounce/grind options, you can really dial in wedge performance for your swing and course conditions.

Precise Distance and Trajectory Control: The center of gravity placement changes progressively through the lofts for lower, more controlled flights and tighter shot dispersion.

Maximum Spin: Refinements to Vokey’s Spin Milled groove cutting process increase spin consistency.

The SM10s features a tour-inspired profile with reduced offset and a Parallel Face Texture to grab the ball. The adjustable weighting system is a really cool new feature allowing you to modify feel, flight and swing weight.

As expected, Vokey wedges have quickly gained traction on the PGA and European Tours. The first week they were available, 20+ tour pros immediately put SM10s in play, including Jordan Spieth who noted improved flight consistency.

Overall, with player-inspired improvements and advanced personalization options, the Vokey Design SM10 again raises the bar for wedge performance. Expect to see these in stores and tour bags throughout 2024!

Sm10 s grind very similar to the F grind generally a full sole with a rear Trail edge and a little bit of heel relief generally played for Square Face shots or slightly open face shots initially made for Steve Stricker hence why it’s called s grind
