Good afternoon Sabers Nation welcome to the varsity girls championship game at the East Coast National Basketball Tournament should have a good one in store here your Sabers come in 5-0 in tournament play marched all the way to the championship game of of 24 varsity girls teams currently the five seed of the top
Eight teams here in this tournament are your sabes and five seed taking on the number three seed Bluegrass United blue Hawks out of Kentucky so two teams 5-0 in tournament play here going for all the marbles uh to finish out this week of basketball sabes come in 27 and five 12 game win
Streak and uh have to go back thought I had that written down the last loss that we had it’s been I think it was January January 23rd last loss that varsity girls had against O’Neal Falcons rolled off 12 straight uh through a Regional Title through a State title now playing for a
National title here at the East Coast Nationals should be a good one in store here had a little bit of time to watch this Kentucky team yesterday um senior lead and very good fundamentals good ball handling good post presence good shooting good defense could not really see uh much of a
Weakness just some limited time observing them playing in the semi-final game yesterday so Sabers we absolutely belong in this game um 100% belong in this game can go toeo Toe with anybody here we’ve proven it we can walk out of here with the title uh if we execute and take care of
The ball and uh just stay m Mally tough and overcome nerves and adjustments and all those things so should be in store for a good one we got a couple minutes here and then uh we will be underway don’t know that there’s any pregame uh ceremonies starting lineups
