Not do it the day of the regional finals bring TJ in let’s talk about what just took place a couple days ago and what’s taking place tonight hey why not right hey that’s what it’s all about March Madness say we’re going to here to calm things down and liveing things up there
You go and uh and we are live but hey I want to mention a couple of things since we’ve got a little more free time let’s say to to talk about some things uh today we can kind of really get into some thoughts as uh and again congratulations those teams are about to
Play in just a couple of hours uh it’s a big day playing in a Regional Championship uh good luck to you know that uh this is one of those things that uh appreciate you know where you’ve come from where you’ve been and uh give it your best shot keep your head high no

Starting to gain momentum yeah well Josh Josh Pickins has done a fantastic job uh coming over from Illinois uh just a small world I remember his first assistant coach and I actually knew his first assistant coach is dead and it was like wow what a small world and then
Going back to KI uh Community College in Illinois yeah and so it’s all a small world we all know each other right and it’s one of those things where we all try to make each other uh you know that much better not only that help win and
Winning uh you know develops later on in life for these young adults yeah and Nia basketball is great basketball topnotch I mean you look at some of the let’s look at some of the other Champions that we’ve even had in the league you know small basketball is greatest an honor
Just to be able to play and continue even further than high school I mean obviously we’re in the state playoffs right now yeah this will be the last time that a lot of kids will ever play uh you know organized Sports they might be able to play Inter mural they might
Be able to you know go on and you know be able to coach later on in life but very few people get to go play in college I think it’s less than 2% two and a half% something like that you go there you go we want to see you play
Here be a Blue Devil all right we’re just a few hours again from Regional finals tip off there were a lot of Thrills and Spills in the regional semifinal round on Tuesday night we’re going to talk about some of some of them in our paint pon ifications for today
All right so let’s start with River Rouge okay after narrowly defeating Dearborn last Friday night Tuesday was back and forth Rouge ultimately dethroning the defending D1 state champions in ctech a game of runs ultimately won by Rouge on the technician’s home floor no less uh if
You would have told me two weeks ago this would happen I would have said no what say you well we did talk about Rouge you know being a double digit lost team uh coming into the playoffs but at the same time you know they’re playing
At a high level Joe Carr has them uh really calm down finding with you know them within themselves and I think that you know them putting together the schedule the super tough schedule that they put together you know it it helps them gain experience uh gain that
Camaraderie that they need you know four long runs and you know here they are with an opportunity to get to the quarter finals and let’s see if they’re playing on Tuesday but they’ll need that win against Wood Haven tonight at CTE yeah so River Rouge uh got their scoring
From kashan Fischer game best 27 points Memphis McDow had 14 Kendall Bentley with seven points Cass was led by Corey Sadler Jr he had 22 Derrik Miller had 14 we’re going to talk about River rouin in you know when we’re talking about tonights games later on in the show but
We’re closing the book on a cast Tech season you would describe as what I let’s say this I I I know that I know that the technicians coach Steve Hall they look at it they they had he as a program let’s just say that they are able to implement players that maybe not
Got maybe didn’t receive a lot of playing time um as sophomores or Juniors and now here’s their opportunity and I think that that’s one of the things that coach Hall preaches is making sure that his guys are ready when that opportunity comes along and then you know just as we
Talked about you know developing you know boys into men I think that you know ctech you know they they’ve done that and you know I think that was the first time that they’ve lost on their home court right uh I think since maybe 2021 yeah two or three seasons so you talk
About you know that’s and losing Acuff yes was obviously a huge blow to that program and four starters yeah exactly so to get to the Regionals no shame in that game and uh again maybe some highs and lows this season but they had a a solid season yeah I know yeah hats off
Hats off to ctech uh you know they you’re Champions until somebody proves you different that’s right and uh you know it’s good to have a run you know almost you know at least get to the first week at least they made it to you know The Regionals you know which is an
Accomplish accomplishment in itself right uh but yeah you know ctech you know I think that what they’ve done what Steve Hall does their pressure defense uh you know they were able to achieve a lot of things and Rouge you know they were able to hang on by the end you he
Was double digits and then they got it down to four points right after the 5sec call some said it was a three and a half second call I don’t know M no I don’t I’m not the referee if I was going to complain I’d be a referee and so we know
How we feel about that with our shortages hey mistakes do happen or if it wasn’t or if it was but yeah hats off to Rouge for uh going out there and taking care of business all right about 13 miles Northwest of ctech another Thriller took place a Catholic League
Central showdown between ufd Jesuit and Warren deas sou final moments with the Cubs down three UD had the look they wanted but Phoenix glassor with the partially block shot Pilots hold on to win 6562 D lasal getting it done the two teams llit the series you know coming
Into this third matchup goes the Pilot’s way and we here we have another double digit lost team with Warren D lell uh John jokai has done a fantastic job we mentioned earlier in the year on on uh hangtime yeah that they didn’t even make the uh the Catholic League playoffs when
They wind up winning their State title a few years ago right and so if you kind of look at it like that again you put together tough schedules It prepares you for that uh all these Catholic League teams they know each other they know you know they know each other let’s say this
What kind of socks they’re putting on um but yeah hats off to John jokai for doing a great job Phoenix Glassner having a fantastic job or doing a fantastic job not only that it helps to extend those fingers a little bit make sure you’re doing your finger exercises
You get a little deflection there at the top of the key hey and that’s and at the end of the day it was defense that want up following through and so hey it’s great to see scores they bring oo and Oz but defense wins games all right I want
You to say his name for me D house 6’7 senior n II is that say okay headed to Army okay headed to Army so he another division one player eight points in the first six minutes of the final period they needed that yeah I mean and it’s
One of those things where he was able to stay out of foul trouble at 6’7 6’8 uh you know he’s athletic he’s a true Center able to hold down the paint for the pilots uh and you know and when you’re asked to step up and he’s a
Senior and he’s been able to wait his time remember him he was playing behind big Sue know now over at Western Michigan it’s one of those things a little bit of patience and then you’ll find your destination yeah another shout out to the junior Armani poris who had 19
Points yeah nice supporting role for him and only a junior and so hey we’ll see what the pilots can do later on this year but they have tons of experience yeah all right in division three was the Battle of the undefeateds langur and chesing this game took place at Jackson
Luming Christie uncharted waters for chesing as you know they had just won their first district in 28 years lburg not new to a bigger stage the Indians struggled at times what can you say though about Xander Woodruff 32 points on the night langsbury 52 hey well
Woodruff has been on a tear I mean he’s has we mentioned that he had a 50-point game I think last show or the show before uh but now to step up when it really counts in this Regional in the regional semifinal that’s huge Mason struck you know for chesing is their
Best player but he’s a football player and he’s going to northern northern michig Xander wood Xander Woodruff just did a f fantastic job throughout the game I had a chance to watch go back and watch it online uh you know just plays with great Pace even when there are
Errors it might be a turnover might be a block shot or anything like that hey he rebounds I mean you look at him and you’ll be like I don’t know if he’s got four aces I don’t know if he’s got a two a four seven a nine and a jack he’s just
Bluffing but at the same time it’s one of those things but having composure at the point guard spot hey that’s a key for winning yeah exactly defensively I thought chesing played well forc and turnovers uh yeah like you know those guys you mentioned uh playing well and I know the chesing faithful are
Disappointed I know the whole town was crazy actually Elizabeth who works here with with state champs does the uh uh female side of the hangtime show you know she’s from chesing and uh her brother played for the team and so everybody was you know really really
Rooting for them but again to win a district get some Hardware in the trophy case that’s how you build and it was a great season so again hold your head high boys all right at Northville High School what what a finish we had between Detroit Catholic Central and Arbor hon
I’m sure you’ve seen the clip on State Champs Network if you haven’t go check it out CC’s Devon Lee hits a beautiful three 6.6 seconds to go sham rash have a two-point lead but then Mari Moore drives a length of the Court deep three attempt hits as the buzzer sound game
High 27 points for Mr Moore none bigger than that one we talk about magic here at Lawrence Tech curiosity and Magic the March Magic on full display as more hit that shot celebration chaos in the aftermath it’s fun Big Shot the leaner the Faller it’s good exactly wow I you

Jackson drew it up perfect on the Baseline found his man the man that he wanted right in the corner Devon Lee steps up knocks down the three then you have mcari Moore who you know who’s been nothing short of fantastic this entire year I mean he’s got division one offers
You know to go along but yeah hats up hats off to mocha head coach Maham the rest of the seniors there they’ve got a lot of seniors uh obviously mcari being a junior but it’s one of those things where you know they have the experience they have the depth and we’re going to
Find out what they are about they’ve got a they’ve got another win to go and then there’s a might be a super big one uh next Tuesday in the quarterfinals yeah absolutely and Catholic centr proving now that they are a program you know they are a basketball team to be
Reckoned with they are uh not an afterthought in the Catholic Central Division and uh I think this is just going to just they’re just going to continue to build and build so uh congratulations again could have went either way we could be talking about the Shamrocks in an amazing run instead it’s
You’re on who’s moving on but that’s the way the ball bounces all right let’s get into profiling our last two Mr basketball finalists we talked about a couple last week let’s get into two more and there’s only four this year and Merritt alderink is a 67 Wing first
Player from Zealand West to earn a division one basketball scholarship so that’s saying something he’ll be going to Indiana State and in timely fashion he came to play in the regional semis with a massive dunk in the final minute and a half of the game as the Ducks beat
Grand Rapids North View uh he had a team High 16 points he’s a baller and now zaland west is in the regional final for the first time ever yeah well hats off to them yeah and and I and you know they have mosan that’s going to be coming up
For them but at the same time wow what a what a game Meritt alderin coming down with a big huge dunk just to cap the game you know it looks like they were already in the driver’s seat going late into the fourth quarter there but Meritt
Al Meritt has been one of those guys been with the Michigan Elite 25 we’ve seen him around and now that it’s great to see another senior you know really lead his team to where they’re going and then the regional finals you know I mean they’re going to the you know uh let’s
Say uncharted waters here uh you know so a a great run for Zealand West hats off to them to the whole community and then talk about what he brings to the table uh you know he’s an inside out guy he can play down on the post uh he
Understands that hey I’m bigger than you it’s not my fault that my dad’s 6 fo8 and my mom six foot or 5’11 sorry about that Miss Al but yes uh but we but yeah hats off to him and yeah over six feet yeah and he’s but he’s also put in the
Work he’s got stronger and one of those things I think that he’ll be you know uh let’s say this he’s a well-deserved candidate for Mr basketball in 2024 and let’s you know let’s wish him more success you know in the future yeah you know especially going down to Indiana
State I think it’s a good fit he’s a he’s the prototypical type of player type of wing that you want right now very flexible can move him in different spots he can handle the rock um yeah I think he he’s going to um have a fantastic future ahead of him and who
Knows where Zan West goes from here we’ll see Aiden Davis is a 610 some say 611 big man who is headed to Wright State another great basketball University averaging 25 and 15 this season onstead is also moving on to the regional finals tonight in division 2 where they will take on Chelsea onstead
Beat Battle Creek Penfield 5646 Aiden had 16 points 14 rebounds in the game what do you love about Aiden Davis Aiden knows who he is I’m not you know like I just brought up with Meritt alderink you know being that much bigger than everybody else uh he’s not one of those
Guys where hey I’m going to show that I can uh show my guard skills or anything like that it’s going to be pound pound Pound I’m going to score on layup I’m going to hit you with a drop step and there are a lot of different things that
I can do in the paint to go ahead and score we absolutely saw him in the Motor City round ball classic I think one of the keys to that game that they played in the round ball classic is that they played Wayne Memorial and they have two outstanding guards on that team that’s
Who they’ll face again when they’re playing Chelsea but yeah if you look at Meritt Alder here uh you know he’s just a beast in the paint very hard to manage especially on the high school level he’s going to be tough to manage on the college level on the horizon League you
Know going to right State you know hats off to them the Raiders for doing a great job of recruiting him and uh yeah another guys has put up fantastic stats uh nearing triple doubles almost every single game I know that he came close to a couple of quadruple doubles because he
Gets double teamed and triple team and when you’re able to kick it out and guys are wide open you know he you just need we just need to knock knock down that open three and you know that that’s what the has been able to do this year so
Hats off to him hats off to Brad Mas and the Davis family you know and you forget how much punishment these the great shape these guys have to be in because they’re getting hit on every play in the post they’ve got to go up they’ve got to
Go up two three times they are taking beatings and uh and yet finding the way finding the finesse that they can do to finish and uh again it’s just a testament to the guy’s work ethic uh what he’s been able to do you know again being a Mr basketball finalist has to
Really mean something you know I hate when we diminish things that we just celebrate winners being a part of the nomination process should be almost as um satisfying as winning the whole thing yeah I mean you’re talking about one of four I’m segueing here and you’ll see
What I mean one of only one of four guys I mean we’ve got what 10,000 people that 10,000 boys that are playing competing in high school basketball and so if you look at what I said a quarter of a percent right you know that’s that’s
Much of a sliver but hats off to all four candidates and we’ll see what the results are going to be I guess later on next week that’s right and uh yeah hats off to all the you know all the guys that are remember I’m ready for that
Segue yeah well the segue is that for those who are um maybe A Cut Above just in terms of maybe being a top tier athlete if you are a good student if you are someone who is maybe involved in your community you’re you’re a leader uh
For your team um the important thing to know is that there is an award that celebrates all of it and it is put on by the Detroit Athletic Club Foundation it is called the DAC Michigan High School athlete of the Year Awards we nominate six male and six
Female athletes you have to apply in order to be considered but you need to be a first team all Stater you or projected to be one say this winter or this spring if you’re projected to be one then then you qualify uh at least a 3.0 GPA and some leadership that you’ve
Demonstrated you know throughout maybe some service or whatever it is you’ve done but the bottom line is the deadline is March 31st for you to apply so simply go to DAC athlete of the year.com click on the application fill that out um and you know usually it’s a coach or an
Athletic director who will fill that out so say you’re the athlete and you’re like hey I should be considered for this well give the application to your coach and say coach help me out we need to get this in so that uh I can be in
Consideration for it so you can be the greatest athlete in the world if you do not apply we cannot nominate when I say we I mean the DAC nominating committee there’s about 22 of them some of them Olympic athletes they really do their due diligence in looking at each and
Every application that comes in and they vet those people so they learn about them they find out about their athletic excellence and and other things again we have had some of the most tremendous uh athletes associated with this award over the last decade we’ve been we’ve been a
Part of the award show we hope host and live stream the awards every year it’s going to be Monday June 3rd by the way we do it each and every year and all I can tell you is that um these are outstanding people if you know of an outstanding person who should be

Including River Rouge and others we forget that Gran blank is a team that won the State title in 2021 they were state finalists in 2022 so this is nothing new to them they’re not intimidated to be going up against to Orchard Lake tonight well I
Let’s say say this hats off to gr blank uh this is the third coach in three years I that’s killing me I can’t remember his name but the head coach for GR Blake I it’s coach Wilson yes uh what he’s been done because they got out of
The they got out of the gate so slow this year right um if you were to go back in December and say hey you know what it was a great run for GR blank congrats to the Bobcats hey we’re going to have to move on and you know just
Kind of pencil them out of the story uh they have other they have other uh thoughts about going to do but yeah hats off to them uh omir we see in the background there but they do a fantastic job of just coming together I think they’ve learned so much from the

When you have a group uh that’s LED and they are looking for bigger things than just Regional finals than quarterfinal wins uh even semi-final wins in in the state state semi-final wins you know they’re looking for the the the the big cowabanga here they want that the big
Trophy to be able to hold up high uh you know this will be the first state championship if or Lake St Mar’s does win since I believe the 2000 uh it’s been a 2001 it’s been a minute yeah morce CBR you know University of Michigan football and
Basketball but yeah uh you know I think that this group the most important thing about them is talented as they are that they still play they’re still hungry and they they play with uh a certain humbleness but also they’re eager and ready all right well let’s let’s talk
About who osm might face in the quarter should they Advance pass Graham blink uh Brother Rice taking on chip Valley out at Troy rice gunning for win number 20 on the season can the Big Reds play a big game like this and send rice packing
So of their nine losses six were only by single digits they play tough the ma red is underrated um this is their second regionals in a row how do you look at Chipawa Valley going into this one well it’s great that they made it to the Regionals being their second year I’m
Sure when the brackets came out or how the district pairings and then uh then you have your quarterfinal and Regional uh Pathway to the Brin uh popped out in you know earlier this season uh in warmer months I’m sure that the Chipawa faithful said Why Us yeah uh you know
Just saying that they might have to run into Brother Rice you know brother Rice they’ve been they’ve been playing like they’re on a mission they’ve been taking care of business now they beat a a really strong Troy team uh I believe there was only they only have one loss
In that year uh Gary fre has seen as much basketball he coach as much basketball as almost any coach in the country in in the state of Michigan so you I know that he had his guys prepared uh but at the same time Brother Rice too
Much talent in the front Court not only that we’ve talked about David Williams uh their point guard uh who’s been fantastic Elijah Williams stepping up and then you also got you know a nice core of uh other guys that let’s say this had a ring maybe relinquished a
Little bit of the Limelight that they could have uh had for another team or they decided to transfer or anything like that but yeah hats off to uh big Coach Rick Palmer getting all the minds together and keep everybody balanced but yeah if they got to face Orchard Lake SS we’ve
Talked about it before yeah you know hey that’d be the fourth time that they they’re going to play them so hey you never know when they have to play each other that much it’s almost like playing your brother and stuff like that where you never know who might win the
Somebody might sneak one out there yeah you only hope they’re both healthy you know if that’s what happens and and again the Warriors you know 25-point victory over UDA uh Williams leading the charge 21-point night coach believes uh talking about Elijah that he’s had 20 or
More over the last like five or six games you know he’s no longer a sophomore he’s now officially Junior status yeah and and the I think the most important thing with playing the adjustment to playing in cathol in the Catholic league and I’m going to say
This only because I lived in Arizona and only because I played a lot of basketball when I lived in Arizona back in my back when I was under 170 pounds uh back in the 20th century but I think that when you go out there and you’re playing basketball in Arizona there’s a
Far difference than when you’re playing and for me there was a difference between playing coming from you know the Detroit area and then going and playing in Arizona like people were picking me like they one me as my point guard and I realized I was one of the better players
Out there A lot of times and know I’m talking about wreck ball I’m not talking about organizing and stuff like that but it’s a little bit different of a toughness level when you’re coming from Arizona and you’re coming to Michigan just Midwest in general in the Catholic
League it doesn’t get any tougher than that and it’s great to see that Elijah is really taking the step forward and turning that next page and saying hey you know what this is what it’s about I’m ready for it yeah you’re in a bang like this all right wonderful that’s not
A foul all right well then that’s not going to be a foul and I think that Elijah has really been able to step it up and you know he’s been in the gym with NBA Pros college guys and all that stuff and I’m sure that they give him a
Little advice too hey you know you’ll be able to give it as well as you can take yeah got got a got a pretty good uh uh guy to kind of Bounce things off off of at home you know how he should never the same PA shoes twice there you go all
Right East Lancing and ported Central will meet at kalamazo Central tonight both teams with 20 plus wins thoughts on this matchup yeah uh I mean East Lancing they’ve been I know in the top five or right about their you know the entire seam in the entire season uh for state
Champs rankings uh this year uh wow I mean what they’ve been able to do this year had a lot of guys that have been able to step up you have JL Brunson here uh who’s a who’s a a big time glue guy who can go out there and defend now
You’ve got KJ Tolbert here who has really taken off his far as offensively uh we all know that his dad was a big- time athlete I joked around with his dad last year when I saw him and I said he might be a better shooter you know than
You were you know he said uh without a doubt and now now and now we’re trying now we’re seeing uh younger tolber really step up on the offensive level when he’s taking it to the the rack you know he’s looking at he’s looking to make posters so hats off to him half off
To cam Hudson half off to Ray Mitchell their head coach you know half off hats off to their staff and what they’re doing right now they’re going out there and winning by playing defense they’re taking care of the ball and not only that you need guys to step up in big
Clutch situations and that’s what they’ve got doing that’s what they’ve got rolling for them and and just so that we’re clear I know we call this TJ’s prediction make sure we got the predictions right you’re saying Orchard Lake will win I’m saying Orchard L you’re saying Brother Rice will win
Brother Rice will win and you are saying that he’s Lancing he’s Ling okay I feel that was inferred I just wanted to make sure that we made that official put it on the record there all right um how about this one an arbor hon coming off obviously uh writing as high as you
Could possibly be right now sometimes that can work against you a little bit uh I don’t think this team is going to be uh the one that lets that um distract them I think they’re only going to play better as a result of what happened on Tuesday but Wayne Memorial Wayne beating
Ipsan Lincoln on Tuesday beat Canton in the districts obviously Wayne tough you talked about their guard play hon Riding High how’s this one this one again in Northville how’s this one going to turn out I tell you what you better get your licks on Wayne Memorial now uh to say
That they probably have two division one guards or at least two with division one offers right now uh you know then they’re only sophomores so you got to get them now because when they’re juniors and seniors they’re going to be I’m sure that they’ve got their book
They’ve got their trusty book out um lost there we got them hey coach can coach Brooks can we play them on December 17th can we play them there but yeah I really do like that an AR her on in this matchup I just think that they
Have too much Firepower too much size in the pinkt okay msan and Cadillac so Cadillac’s going to be taking on our former number one team uh for a lot of this year in the state and that was mosan Cadillac has 23 wins this season they just beat Traver City West msan
Held Sagen Heritage to a season low 37 points Tyler OD got his but the Big Reds were on lock on everyone else and when you look at that team defensively that is what spells disaster for other teams those are the teams that uh a lot of the times we find themselves
On the bresin center floor yeah well I’ll tell you this one thing about Cadillac we’re all familiar with the car a lot of us that make trips up north are familiar with Cadillac it’s a beautiful city they’re also more of a basketball town than people would would think I
Mean if you go back we have the Simon Brothers one going to Central Michigan the other going to Drake um so they’ve been there uh I would think that mosan was probably going to pull this off I’m not going to count Cadillac out I did see Cadillac earlier in the year against
When they wound up losing uh to water vet or excuse me not to water my go uh to my buddies they were just knocked out but uh we we know who they are uh that’s all right over on the west side of the stadium they will go unsaid they know
Who they well they well that was their loss I believe their their lone loss of the season um and so in saying that I just think the mosan might have just a little bit too much Firepower their bench is a little bit deeper and not only that the experience that those guys
Have had uh you know over the let’s say this they grew up watching you know the mosan guys going to the BR and making those trips and stuff like that we’ll see if Cadillac can step up and they do have the size you know they’ve can go
6666 on the front court and so I think for Cadillac it’s going to be about them taking care of the ball making some out shot to make your shots somebody’s going to have to go Spike alre you know somebody’s going to have to step up you
Know and put up some extra points there yes sir but yeah we’ll see it we’ll see and I’m talking about White Hall White Hall beat Cadillac earlier this year right right great team yep and that a great game but whiteall undefeated for a long time without a doubt and so we got
Mosan and I think that you know experience and and size and depth is going to wind up trumping in this right exactly but I’m sure in the Cadillac locker room they’re saying why not us and you like to be in that position so nothing to lose just everything to gain
River Rouge and Wood Haven we talked about Rouge already Wood Haven three state straight years of regional appearances uh cruised over Riverview on Tuesday what do they need to do to step up and take that extra step go back in the season and schedule some other teams
Okay that are a little bit tougher because this by far is going to be their toughest matchup with Rouge right I’m not going to say that they almost have opposite schedules but Rouge you know playing all those top 25 teams you know throughout the season Uh Wood Haven
While they’ve had a fantastic season a 20 win 20 plus winas they they’ll need to make that they have to bring their A+ game maybe get some help from rou and saying that maybe had keesan Fischer or Memphis McDow have an off night but I don’t see that happening
I just think that those two guys along with Kendall Bentley a few other guys on that team that have really stepped up and Joe car is uh one if you can’t get motivated by Joe Carr I don’t know there’s something wrong with you yeah yeah exactly I know we motivated that
Ref after that one two three we’ve got one more division one game then we’re going to uh we’re going to power through some of these division 2 and division three matchups too I know that Chuck’s got some b-roll there so we can talk about some of these teams but

What happens but I think this is going to be an elite matchup two teams that have been in the top 25 the entire season uh North Farmington having as good a season as anybody with only what one loss of themselves so uh yeah we’ll see what they can do Rob Smith has been
An excellent addition to this team from the point guards position to go along with their three forwards or their two forwards in the wings Tyler Spratt and then also Dylan Smith in the front court and then you’ve got Landon Williams who is one of the best Shooters in the state
And uh you know they’ve got some size and you know obviously they have some experience let’s see if North Farmington can get over the hump that’s held them back over the last few years because they haven’t been able to get out of either districts or regionals when
They’ve also been highly ranked and had a lot of talent I think that this North Farmington team team is ready and they take care of business and there it is there we go been waiting for that he called it all right so the Raiders PA
The Raiders are going to get it done uh we’ll see if Phoenix glassor company have something to say about that but uh again um you know those those Catholic Powers man those teams again they they beat up on each other but then it comes of the playoff times and if they’re
Spread out a little bit you’re going to see multiple ones playing for regional hardware and elsewhere so all right let’s move into division two we’re going to kind of power through these and get your predictions on these say a few things and uh we’ll move through it’s no
Disrespect to the teams that are in division 2 we’re going to mention you here and uh and we’ll TJ will give you a little uh uh prediction so let’s talk about Flint Powers Catholic and uh Sagen Arthur Hill that’s going to be a good one I think two teams that really know each
Other uh you know they’re fortunate to have a radio or TV station up there that covers both of them and so uh you know I think that you know are they going to be fighting for the Limelight here uh quite possibly um at the same time uh you know
Flint Powers is I I’ve said that I think that they’re going to be one of the Front Runners in division two next year uh what they’re going to do in this game versus Sagen Arthur Hill line of Brooks is really rolling uh the sophomore point guard from uh sag and Arthur Hill has
Also been nothing short of phenomenal uh at least in this game here we have a big dump by him and we’ll see if uh the matchups wind up working up uh this been a dream season for Arthur Hill and saying that it’s going to be there last
Year uh and beating Sagen twice be and then beating Sagen twice I they they took care of business on Tuesday versus Sagen in their last matchup ever and so uh but in this game uh you know I’m I’m I think that I’m going to have to go
With uh Flint Powers just because I think that they’re shooting from the perimeter it might be just a little bit better even though uh Lono Brooks did hit four threes and that’s big the biggest Improvement in his game I know that a lot of college coaches have been
Looking for him as a senior you know to make that next step and you know his great to see him shooting the ball well but I’ll tell you what if lineup Brooks winds up going off in this game you know I’m going to count on The Lumberjacks
You know otherwise I’m going to go with three the the three uh headed monster Powers yeah we got a few teams that could be it could be you know we’re is it that next you know they got next next year or is the time is now right now
You’re saying Powers the saying time is now time is now and next year so we’ll see uh Warren Lincoln Detroit Prep Art and Design yes uh will Happ off to DJ Clark he’s done a fantastic job of really turning this program around you go to we call it upad and you know the
313 and so if you’re around looking for that gym it’s going to be tough I know he puts together a great summer league I think that that opportunity really came you know just get his guys that much more experienc now I can really pick the
Teams who I want my guys to play against to prepare them for situations like this at the same time Warren Lincoln uh I mean if they haven’t been the one of the Front Runners for division or my one of my Front Runners for division 2 all
Season long uh I think that they really step up the blackw twins they’re fully healthy uh and uh we got wiell Henry who we are all very familiar with who’s done a fantastic job of coaching this guy and uh if you look at the clips here you got
Marcus or Moses Blackwell uh who was phenomenal I believe he was MVP of the of the Mac white uh this year um so hats off to them not only that they have size they’ve got TJ Miner here nice little spin move to the Baseline and that win
Was a against St excuse me uh that that was a loss against Grand Rapids Christian but at the same time uh you know they played really tough schedule prepared for them and not only that I think that Warren Lincoln might be a little disappointed in losing uh the Mac
Red white Championship to gr Point South and I think that they have something to prove and you know they’re going to be one of those teams where I’m looking for them to be in the Brin next year but I think it’s there’s time there’ll be it
There again this year the Mac the Mac you can call it the Mac you can call it the Mac Goodrich and St Clair all right here we go I think that uh St Clair they’ve got one of the best sophomores in the state and uh young Brandon folz we’ll see with
Uh goodr uh Gary Barnes has done a fantastic job there I really like what he does they’ve got size in the post the in comr and Tristan colr uh then you’ve also got some other guys on that team who are in that let’s say this Gary Barnes talk about programs you’re going
To come here you’re going to play the right way we’re going to teach you how to play but the vast majority of his guys you know know unselfishness they know how to move the ball they know to make you know I we’re not I’m not going
To put the ball down on the court as soon as I as soon as the ball is passed to me we’re going to have some patience and we’re going to play with purpose uh I think good rich is going to want to pull in this one off so many times
They’ve come close when those battles against Ferndale over the last couple of years there you go all right I’m impressed Croswell Lexington TJ he’s up on these teams people Grand Rapids Catholic Central and Spring Lake nothing new for Grand Rapid cc to be here once

State then you’ve got Mr basketball kenned who’s headed to University of Michigan in fat fat Brooks and I think that you know I don’t really think that Spring Lake has anybody who can really match up with them now if Spring Lake does hey sometimes you got guys that say
Hey it’s my turn right you know and that’s when hey guys are living their entire lives their dreams this might be their last game you know I I didn’t go out and put up you know 15,000 shots in the summer to go out here and Miss in

Been playing for this moment right here onstead versus Chelsea like I like I alluded to earlier yep or or earlier in the show you know this is a matchup between guards and the big man if onstead can knock down some threes because they’re going to have to

Football school um over the years I think that they’ve really kind of transformed into a basketball school not discounting any of the other coaches that they’ve had in the past but uh Josh Trope uh sleeps with the Wilson Evolution on like this but yeah uh as a pillow uh and so
You know a big- time guy he’s got his son on the team who’s having a fantastic season they’ve also played some tough games and you look at the lower lower branches of the Catholic League uh that they’ competed in this year and so you got to get to play against Detroit
Loyola in in Little Shoe Box courts like lyola at you get to play they did beat Riverview Gabriel Shard so that’s something that they can hang their head on uh we’ll see what we’ll see what langsbury uh fantastic senior season uh great past three weeks and let’s see if he can get
The ball rolling there I just think that there might need just a little bit more Firepower to beat lman Christie on their own court so you think Jack the Titans L Christie will take it all right final game we want to talk about Riverview Gabriel Rashard and Ottawa Lake
