Went over it and a little nervous some of the stuff we hadn’t done before yet this year it’s rare that you know if I think I’m going to try it I’ll try it sometime during the year but just a pretty much flawless performance on everything they did uh you know uh kids
In help kids where they were supposed to be uh just great just glove defense all over people uh riverton’s got a really nice ball Club you know they’re a team that I thought we might see in a championship game so I just can’t say enough about my kids and and you know
It’s fun to see the growth even on offense you know we we as we ran offense and had to make plays uh you know just the growth the kids are making you know uh people using their left hands and people going to the rim harder than we
Did at the beginning of the year and uh you know just been a lot of fun this is just a great group of girls I thought they made some really nice Cuts tonight without the ball that resulted in some really clean looks under the bucket yeah
You know they were they they were trying to mix some defenses up too and and I thought they got mixed up occasionally on those defenses you know it looked like to me the back door was open all night and the kids did a really nice job of reading that hey they’re not going
Out with me I’ll just go ahead and go back door and and there it was and uh you know again just uh a complete team effort everybody got in the basketball game everybody contributed and uh you know just just very proud of this club
And and and very happy to be uh in a substate championship game well just to keep harping on the defensive effort tonight of course you know we you guys held Khloe Parker to eight I think that’s probably one of her lowest totals against you guys in a few years and then
They’re big ZJ Wells and Avery Barnett you held Barnett to seven and Wells to just one and so uh under the bucket your girls really battled tonight that was our point of emphasis tonight you know I thought we did last time a really good job on their two guards I thought we’d
Let uh the big girl inside catch deep way too much and and and so that was kind of our point of emphasis tonight on top of what we were already doing to the guards and like I said the kids ran it pretty flawlessly everybody did their job you know when you’re running uh
Pretty complicated defenses like we do everyone has to do their job if one person doesn’t do their job you kind of all look silly so uh you know I I I don’t that there was any possessions where we we look that way I I thought the kids you know down the stretch here
And we in practices and everything that we’ve been doing uh the kids have been 100% locked in so uh just can’t be more pleased with them and uh you know but as I told them in the locker room uh you know we’re not finished yet we we got we
Got some work left to do and uh you’re going to play the winner of this night cap coming up we can see the teams warming up down here on the floor right now now between Columbus and Cherryvale and just looking at and warm up Cherryvale has got a couple of pretty
